Nico di Angelo's P.O.V

I stared at the girls in front of me, dumbfounded.

"So? What do you think?" Percy asked me.

Right before us was the official 'Camp Shipping Department' or CSD. One of them was the girl at the campfire. She wanted to propose the idea of a date for me and Clare to strengthen their 'feels' for their favorite power couples at camp. Since the confession and kiss at the campfire, the CSD have been working overtime for their latest 'project,' meaning us.

"I'm Marybeth, leader of CSD and this is Eva. She's the one with you last night at the campfire."

I smirked in my head as I remember the events of last night. Clare got jealous. Clare got jealous. I sang repeatedly.

"Percy told us that you plan on taking Clare to a date so we wanted to help you out. This is your first date after all." Another girl pipes in.

"You HAVE to do a good job so we can clear Eva's conscience. She cried that whole night because her new favorite couple was going to have a fight."

She pats Eva on the head sadly and Eva hangs her head down in shame.

I scratched the back of my neck. "It's fine, erm, we started dating so.. uh.. be happy? It always happens with us though."

Percy shakes his head. "How'd you get a girlfriend?"

I shrug. "I still don't know myself."

"So, please accept the deal. It'd make us very happy." Eva murmurs quietly.

"Sure." I said. "But don't go too overboard with the planning."

Mary salutes and nods.

"Leave everything to us."

I nod and Percy pats me on the back. "Don't worry, I'll do everything in my power to make sure the scenery is creepy as hell."

I smack him hard on the head and he groans. "Just a tip, don't do that on your date." He rubs his head while saying so.

Clare's P.O.V

It was finally the time of the campfire and I look around for Nico. Even though he might just do something stupid, it beats trying to answer Andy's ridiculous questions. Just thinking about it makes my head spin.

"Um? Are you Clare?" A girl asks me.

I nodded and she smiled. "I was wondering if you could help me with something? It's really, really important for you to be there. My friend has something he wants to tell you."

I bit my lip. "I'm waiting for someone right now, so, could he tell me some other time?" I ask her. She sighs and shakes her head. "It's really important. He'll just tell you quickly?"

I bit my lip even harder and shook my head. "I'm really sorry. My-my boyfriend is coming soon, and I don't want him to wait." I said.

She nodded and had a big smile on her face. "Oh well, thanks."

"I'm really sorry." I apologized again. She just waves me off. "You passed. So it's fine." My eyebrows furrowed. Huh?

"Huh?" I said aloud.

"You are an incredibly faith full girlfriend! Most girls would've gone and help and end up dying, but no, you stayed! Even though you would've gotten a lot of people killed and angry... Congrats." She says.

She spoke too fast that I couldn't hear the words she said, except for congrats.

I just smiled and nodded. "Thank you? I guess."

She beams at me and salutes. "I'm Marybeth and I would like to escort you to your prize."

"Um, it's f-" She pulls me up and drags me into the woods. "W-wait!" I say, trying to make her slow down.

She again pulls me into the center of trees and calls out, "Three!"

A pathway of candles lit up and I gasp. The breeze made the lights look like they were dancing back and forth."It's so pretty..." I whispered. She ushers me forward and I slowly start walking. I look closer and see that girls and some boys are holding them. It seems like they're wearing some type of camouflage to blend in with the scenery.

I keep walking, unsure of what lies ahead of me. Please don't let my idiot self walk to my death.

Please, please, please...

The people look at me with encouraging smiles and I felt my palms sweat a bit.

I'm going to be slaughtered, aren't I? I'm being pushed in by this secret pagan ritual group to my death. Oh, my gods, I'm done for...

I do my best not to sob on the outside of my body as I start reaching the end.

I'm sorry mommy for not believing you when you said not to speak to strangers...

I shut my eyes and scrunch up my face as I prepare myself for the coming of my slaughter. "Why are you making such an ugly face?" I open my eyes and meet Nico's dark brown ones. "N-nico?" I asked, startled. He raises his eyebrow and nods. "Yes?"

"Y-your the leader of t-the... pagans?" I asked. He pinches my cheek and scoffs. "It amazes me how you manage to become even more idiotic every time I see you."

I raised my eyebrows and crossed my arms. "Well, it amazes me how you are able to manage being a jerk every time I come around. Such a talented young man you are, Nico di Angelo."

He rolls his eyes, but smiles down at me. "So, you ready for our date?"

"HUH!?!?!?" I screech. "Wait, so, this is a date?"

He nods. "Isn't that what I just said ?" I felt the blood rush to my cheeks.

I looked around and the people holding the candles come out, blowing the fire out.

"Hi, Clare, I'm Marybeth. I'm the leader of the C.S.D. We had planned this whole thing out." The girl that kept pulling me out here held out her hand and I shook it. "No wonder... Nico isn't that clever to have planned this out." I say waving my finger.

"Um, I'd like you to meet Eva, she was the girl who wanted to initiate the date. That's why she pulled Nico away from you." Marybeth explained. Eva looked at me with big brown eyes and I cooed about her in my head. She looked about fourteen.

"So can we get on with our date already?" Nico asked, a bit annoyed. Mary gives him a thumbs up and he grabs my hand. "That wasn't the date?" I asked him.

"How was that even considered a date?"He asked. I shrug. "I'm not really sure how a date would go." I say truthfully. All the shows that I would watch are the type your five-year-old sibling would watch. Or Law & Order.

"Are you okay with walking?" He asks me. I nod and we walk forward.

"How long are we going to walk for?" I ask him. "It's bit far, but I think you can handle it."

We walk and see another pathway of candles. "Are there people holding them?" He nods and reaches for my hand. Nico grabs hold of my hand and a weird feeling erupts in my stomach.

Hopefully I don't end up puking all over Nico again. The last time should always stay as the last time. But with my luck, it'll happen again.

We walked silently next to each other until he stops. I look up from the ground and accidentally hit my head on something. "Ouch..." I groan and hold onto my head. What the hell? Nico turns back to me and laughs. "You idiot! Watch where you're going!" His annoying laugh echos out and I was tempted to smack him. Just a little bit more of his stupid comments and I will.

"Who the hell does that?" He chuckles some more. "I-I can't believe you... Ha,ha,ha..." I start to laugh with him before I, you know, pinned him against the tree. I was about to punch him on the face, but he blocked it. He held my wrist down and I glared him in the eyes. "What were you about to attempt?" He asked me. He smirked down at me and I smirked back. "Something that'll hurt much less than this." His eyebrows furrow and I knee him in the balls. He hunches over and groans. "Shit..." He cursed. He glared at me when I was laughing like a maniac. "That's what you get, you jerk!" I giggle and dance around him.

His face turns red and I felt a little guilty. "Are you okay?"

I come closer and placed my hand on his back.

Big mistake.

He grabs my hand and flips me on my back. "Ah, fuck." He laughs and pins me down again. "Where did you think my hand was, Clare?" He smirks and I glare. "Fuck you." I roll my eyes at him and he winks. "I know you do."

"Get off me."

He gets off me and helps me up. "Such a gentleman." I mutter sarcastically.

"Shut up and look around." I look at him weird. "Huh?" I ask. He waves his finger around and my eyes wander to examine where we were. "Whoa..." I say. We were at a place where the trees' branches bunched together, but left enough space so you could still be able to see the moon. It was pretty dark, but the moon brought to the area. It was kind of in the shape of a dome. "This place is awesome." I grinned and Nico pulled me into the center of it all.

"It's nice and quiet here." I say. I look up at the moon and Nico wrapped his arms around my waist. "I know. That's why I liked it here." He said.

I furrow my eyebrows. "Liked?"

He nods. "You're the place where I like to hang out now." He just said something cute. What. The. Frick.

I feel my cheeks burn as I look at him wide eyed. "H-huh?" He softly smiles down at me. "I like you, Clare. I hope this date was good enough for you." I nod, suddenly at loss of words. My tummy started to grumble and I laughed. "It would be better if there- Wait! Where are you going?" He pulls away from me and picks something up from behind a tree. A basket, I think? I'm not really sure.

"Here." He hands me a basket. I open it and find FOOD. I look up at him. "Best date. You brought me food to eat. Are we going to share?" I ask. He shakes his head. "If you can finish it all."

I strangle him in a hug. "Thank you so much, Nico!" I pull out a sandwich and start eating. "I also like you." I say, happily eating my food.
