《A Daughter of Thanatos( Nico di Angelo )》Chapter 14

I was running. I didn't know from what, but for sure- I needed to.
My legs were tired and felt like they were going to fall off. My body was dirty and my muscles were aching. I was already panting. God, I wonder how much of a mess I look like right now.
Hahahaha!!! The laughing of women echoed through the forest I was in and I felt as if they getting closer. I tried to scream for help, but my voice wasn't working at the moment. I looked around my surroundings. Trees.
You can't run forever child. Hahaha....
The voices seemed even closer now. Multiple voices of women echoed in my head. Something caught onto my ankle and brought me falling to the ground. I tried to push myself back up, but some magnetic force kept me on the ground.
I tried to scream again, but didn't succeed like all the other failed attempts.
Then someone started to pull me back and the voices cackled with laughter.

I gasped and saw Andy in-front of me. I hugged her and cried into her shoulder.
"Shh... Clare, What's wrong? What happened?" I shook my head and sobbed.
Andy rubbed my back in comfort. "You wanna skip dinner and go to my cabin?" I nodded and got up to walk with her.
We walked out of mine to her's.
"Can you tell me what happened?" I nodded and pointed at her cabin.
She rubbed my back soothingly and opened the door of her cabin.
She went to her bed and I followed her. "What happened?" I started to stutter. "I-I was r-running and these w-women were laughing a-and threatening m-me... Andy, they were cutting off the air in my lungs. A-Andy, I didn't know what to do." I began to cry again and I could feel the air being knocked out of my lungs.
"Clare. It's gonna be okay." I nodded and stood up. I wiped away my tears and tried to calm my breathing. "Yeah, you're probably right."
"You wanna get some dinner?" I shook my head. "I need to say sorry to someone."

I walked out and looked for Nico.
The Arena- not there.
Eating dinner- nope.
At the stables- no
forest- must be.
I walked in the dark forest and looked for him. I really needed to say sorry to him. I saw him leaning on a tree.
I walked over to him and tapped him on his shoulder. He looked surprised for a moment, then glared at me. "What do you want." I ignored the harshness in his voice and apologized. "I'm sorry, okay?" He rolled his eyes.
"Yeah, like sorry makes up for everything." I glared at him. "At least I said sorry. Now I'm starting to regret it."
"I really don't care." I growled. "Why do you have to be such a huge jerk?!?!" He rolled his eyes again. "It's none of your god damn business!" And just like that. He disappeared. "FUCKER!" I growled and kicked the tree.
Remind to never apologize to that jerk. I kicked the tree one more time and went back inside camp.
That fricken asshole! To think I actually felt sorry for him! I glared at everyone that passed by me and kicked the dirt.
"Clarissa!" Chiron shouted. "Yes, Chiron?" He smiled down at me.
"Shouldn't you be getting your things ready? You are leaving tomorrow." My eyes widened.
"Ah, yes Chiron. Thank you for reminding me!" I shouted as I ran to my cabin.
I ran and barged into the dark cabin. With my luck, I crashed into Nico in my way in. "Move." He said.
"What's the magic word?" He rolled his eyes. "Move."
I shook my head. "Close, but no." He grabbed my shoulders and tried to move me out of the way. I held on to the sides of the door. "MOVE!" I held on tighter. "NEVER!!!!"
"GODS! Fine. Please move." I sighed. "It was peanut, but I guess that'll do." I moved out of the way and he left, but not without bumping his shoulders into mine.
I sat down on the bed and took out the dark blue backpack from underneath it. "Jerk..." I muttered

I got out a pair of of black jeans, a dark blue T-shirt, and my underwear of course. I put my clothes for tomorrow in the second pocket of the backpack.
I looked at the black pumps that Piper gave me to match my dress. I sighed. How the hell am I going to wear these heels? They're like fuckin skyscrapers!!!
I tapped my fingers on my lap. What else would I need?
I walked out of my cabin and went to Shadow's.
The walk there was uneventful.
I walked inside and saw she was also preparing for tomorrow. "Hey, Shadow." She looked up from what she was doing to me.
"Hey, Clare. Are you already packed for tomorrow?" I shrugged.
"I'm not really sure. I have my clothes packed, some extra weapons, and the horrible heels Piper had suggested we use for the dress." She laughed.
"I think you should pack some ambrosia and nectar. Just in case you know." I nodded.
"Are you packing some?" She nodded. "Yup."
"Oh, okay." I said.
Shadow began packing and organizing her stuff again. "Do you think Nico's a dick?" She laughed.
"I'm not really sure. I don't really know him. I have no business to judge him."
I groaned. "Your wise words really doesn't help me right now." Shadow shrugged.
"I didn't know I was helping you."
"I really need some help. I thought I liked him, but now I feel like I want to strangle him to death." Shadow rubbed her chin.
"I think you should just ask the guy." I screamed in frustration.
"BOYS ARE FUCKING CONFUSING!" I collapsed on her bed and screamed some colorful words about the male species and Nico.
"I feel ya." I heard Shadow sigh.
"Come on girl. Get off my bed. Your torturing it with all the bad words you're saying." She rolled me over and I groaned.
"Fine."
I got up. "I'm going to get some of that ambrosia and nectar. Come with?" She nodded.
We went to the infirmary.
The walk was boring, but Shadow was able to scare some Aphrodite chick who 'ewed' at her. It was pretty hilarious.
When we arrived to the infirmary, it was pretty empty. "Jake!" Shadow called a guy.
A boy who looked around 12 turned to us.
He had dirty blonde hair and blue eyes. There was a mischievous glint in them. He looked a lot Andy.
"Clare, meet Jake Terrence, son of Apollo. Jake, meet Clarissa Walker,-" Jake grinned. No wonder.
"Daughter of Thanatos. I know. Pleased to meet ya ma'am." He grabbed my right hand and kissed the back of it.
"I'm 15." I said trying to get my hand out of his grasp.
He raised his eyebrows. "An older woman. I like it." My eyes widened and our hands got ripped apart from each other.
"Sorry about my younger brother." He looked around my age. "I'm Eric." I smiled gratefully.
"It's okay." He smiled back.
"Do you and Shadow need something?" Shadow and I nodded.
"We need some ambrosia and nectar." He nodded. "Just a sec."
He went out of the room and came back with the ambrosia and nectar. He handed them to me and smiled. He seems nice.
"Thanks." We just stared at each other.
"Clare."
"Clare."
"Clare!" I woke up from my daze and said goodbye to Eric.
I walked out with Shadow and she started to bombard me with questions. 'What the hec was that?' 'Do you like Eric now?' 'You looked like you were in a trance.' 'Are you okay?'
"I don't know, Shadow!" I threw my hands in the air.
"I really don't know, Shadow." I ran my hand through my hair. "I'm freak'n confused. I feel like I've met Eric before. I don't know... it's just weird." Shadow rubbed my back comfortingly.
"It's okay. Just relax. We need to go somewhere tomorrow, remember?" I nodded.
"Go and sleep." I nodded again. We parted ways and I went straight to bed after I got inside the cabin.
I hope you guys enjoyed this chap. I know it was boring. It was just sort of a filler. So vote, comment, and fan. :) BYE
