I groan and turn of my alarm. Ugh Aphrodite is messing with me head. I grab mt clothes and take a shower. When I come out, my band shirt, black jeans shorts and black vans turned into a white crop top, light blue jean shorts and brown slip on shoes. There is also makeup. I kind of like the outfit so I put it on, but I put on white vans. I go downstairs only to find Hazel, weird Annabeth is always up when Hazel and I are.

"Percy is sick so Annabeth is staying home to take care of him. Hazel says, intruding my thoughts.

I nob my head.

"So, I heard my brother now has a girlfriend." I blush.

"Mmhmm."

"I can alwaysnsee how much he cares about you." I always thought we cared about each other in a best friend kind of way. What does she mean by 'always'?

"What do you mean?"

"Every time your sad or hurt, he looks the same way. I can see his heart break everytime you are not happy. When you were not talking to his because of Lucy, he would complain to me and constantly ask Percy about you. I always knew he loved you, he just never admitted it to himself until now." I look away.

I look back to last month and me ignoring Nico, I know it hurt me, I just didn't know it hurt him just as bad.

"The only question now is." I look back at Hazel. "Do you feel the same way?"

"Of course. When I was forced to ignore him, I felt empty. When he smiles or laughs, I always have smile or laugh with him. We were best friends before we stated dating and that makes it even better. We know possibly everything about each other. We know how to help each other and we know when the other one is sad or mad. We have been through so many things, he is like my other half."

I am so glad the boys are not up, mostly Nico. If he would have heard this, I would have been embarrassed but I wouldn't have denined anything because it is true.

We talk for a while, then I go upstairs to grab my phone to show Hazel some pictures of me and Nico. I forgot to close my door when I walked into my room. Then Two arms wrap around me. One around my shoulder, the other wrapped around my waist. Nico buries if face in my neck and breathes in deeply.

"You smell good." He says.

I laugh. "And what do I smell like?"

"The ocean, kind of salty but not strong."

"How does that smell good?"

"It is relaxing."

"You smell good too. Like just after if rains, pomegranate and mint."

"Mmmm." he mumbles.

"(Y/N). Hazel yells. "I want to see the pictures."

I groan, I don't want to leave. I love this, how Nico is holding me. I can tell he feels the same way.

"What pictures?"

"Of us."

"Figures."

"Well lets go. We leave for school soon too."

We walk down stairs and sit on the couch across from Hazel and hand her my phone.

Every one in a while ns]he says 'Awe' or 'So cute.'

"I know. It is because (y/N) is in them."

I nudge him with my shoulder. "What? It's true!" he defends himself.

"Awwwweee!" Piper says. "Jase, they are so cute."

"Aphrodite is kicking in." We all groan. Piper rolls her eyes. "Lets go before we are late." Frank says while walking into the room.

Time skip

Nico's POV

When we got out of Frank's car, the girls had sad looks in their eyes and they boys glared at me and checked (Y/N) out. She looked uncomfortable so I wrapped my arm around her waist. She looks up at me and smile as if saying 'Thank you.'. I kiss the top of her head.

All during math, science and reading, Nathan flirted with (Y/N). She looked like she was going to pull out her sword so I laced our fingers together. I could feel and see her relax. Brigit glared at (Y/N). Somehow she managed to put on even more make up and instead of smelling like a glitter rainbow, now she smells like a unicorn who threw up a glitter unicorn and made it really expensive so you think it smells good. News flash, it doesn't.

Now for the time I dread. Where I go to geography and (Y/N) goes to swimming. The good thing is that Percy is with her and he won't let boys go anywhere near her except for me. Oh and guess what? Brigit switched to this class because she knows it is the only class I have without you. Great. Also the best part is, she sits beside me. As. Close.As.She. Possibly. Can. See, we don't have desk, we have tables that sit two people. I move my chair all the way to the other end of the table, and she follows me. All during class she tries to hold my hand and touch my arm.

"You are so strong. Do you work out?"

I ignore her.

She giggles. "Playing hard to get I see."

"It is called I have a girlfriend in which I love more then my life and I will never break up with. If that is 'playing hard to get', then you described it perfectly."

When it is almost the end of the class, my teacher says we have a team project that we have to do.

"I have already picked your partners. The project will be about tectonic plate movements."

"Jack and Gabby."

"Heather and Kaylie."

"Jennifer and John."

"Nico and Brigit." Oh gods no.

Brigit looks at me and smirks. "Give me your phone number so I can text you about whose house we are going to."

It won't be safe for me to go to her house because she does not have the monster proof wall thing around her house, so we have to go to mine. Also I am not giving her my phone number, she will stalk me for all I know.

"We are going to do the project at my house."

"Okay." she grins.

I write down my address on a piece of paper and give it to her. As soon as the bell rings, I walk out the door to find you so we can walk to out next class. The warning bell rings and I still don't see you. Weird. Maybe you took the other way to class and you are there waiting for me. I walk to class just as the class bell rings and you are not in here. Even weirder. Where are you? Maybe you found a monster. I don't know. I also notice Nathan is missing too.

Your POV

After swimming, I go to my locker to grab my greek textbook even though I know I don't need it. I know everything about greek. I sense someone behind me and I see a shadow cast across my locer. It is taller than me so I thought it was Nico. Boy was I wrong. When I am done with my locker I close it and turn around to be face to face with Nathan. Ugh just leave me alone. I try to push him away from me but he grabs onto my wrist hard. It hurts. He pulls me into an empty classroom as I see Nico walking down the hallway. I try to pull away but he grips my wrist tighter. He locks the door behind him and tries to kiss me. I turn away so he misses. With his hand still on my wrist, he wrappes his other arm around my waist and pulls me onto the teachers desk. I try to kick him but he presses his legs onto mine. Then he legs go of my wrist and puts his hand on my upper inner thigh. He starts moving up my leg but I punch him in the face, hard. I know I broke is nose. Then I kick him where it hurts and leave the room to go to class with Nico. I look at wrist, it already has a purple and blue bruise on it and I know it is going to get darker. You can see his fingerprints and my wrist. Nico is going to flip. I turn down the hall and knock on the door. Mr.Blofis answers.

"Why are you here during my planning period? You should be in class." I told him what happened and he gave me a pass so I wont get in trouble. He said he was going to talk to the principle. Then I go to class.

As soon as I walk into class, I find Nico's eyes from the back of the classroom. I give the note to the teacher and sit down next to him. I don't say anything. Then he tries to hold my hand. He lifts it from under the table and he sees the bruise on my right wrist. I can see the anger in his eyes.

"Who did this to you?" his voice soft and full of concern.

"Nathan, I got a pass from Paul and he is talking to the principle right now.

He did not say anything after that, not even in 7th period when we had greek. Our teacher made us demonstrate greek everyday. He would not say anything.

"Nico παρακαλώ να μου μιλήσεις" (Nico please talk to me ...)

Nothing.

"Νίκο έκανα τίποτα λάθος, παρακαλώ Μιλήστε o μου."

(Nico I did nothing wrong, please talk to me.)

Not a word.

"μια χαρά." (Fine)

I sit down. Our teacher looks at us confused but does not say anything. I text Annabeth about what happended. She said he was just mad at Nathan, not me. He is planning on ways how to hurt then. Percy does this to her. They are just being protective. This turns out to be true.
