Chapter 5

"I'll see you tonight princess. I have to go home before my family they find me missing." Marinette nods. Chat kisses her goodbye and leaves.

"What does these make us now? I've really fallen for him, haven't I?" She smiles as she watches him get out of her view.

Adrien POV

Chat jumped into an alley near his house. He de-transform back into Adrien. Plagg flies out of the ring, landing onto Adrien's right hand. "Now what are you going to do? You kissed her on the lips and said you loved her." Plagg exclaims. Adrien handed him some camembert from his pocket.

"I don't know Plagg. If Marinette finds out I'm Chat Noir she'll hate me. I got to do something with Chloe. But what?" Adrien looks at the ground.

"You're father never said you couldn't break up with her, just that you had to date her. Go up to her tomorrow and tell her you're breaking up with her." Plagg explains.

"I think that could work but, my father won't be happy with it." Adrien sighs. "But I want to be with my princess. I'll have to think of a good way to break up with Chloe. I don't want to hurt her feelings."

"Oh, who cares if you do? She's hurt a lot of people. A little break up is no sweat. Most of the people she hurts become Akumatized." Adrien glares at him. "Do whatever you want but, no matter what one of those girls will get hurt."

Adrien thinks as he chuckles to himself.

"Did I say something funny?" Plagg asked. Adrien shakes his head and laughs. "I'm never giving you my help ever again." Plagg flies into Adrien's pocket as he walks out of the ally.

Marinette POV

"Marinette's got a boyfriend." Tikki sang. Marinette glares at her.

"I do not. We just kissed... We kissed." Marinette puts her fingers to her lips as blush coats her cheeks. Tikki giggles. "What do I do Tikki?"

"Well do you like Chat Noir?" Tikki questioned.

Marinette looked at her. "Yes. I do l-like him." Marinette answered.

"And what about Adrien?" Tikki flies to a picture of Adrien Marinette had taken off her wall and puts it in front of her face. "You still like him?"

"I'm starting to forget him. My feelings for him have started to disappear little by little. But it still hurts to be near him. I've started to fall for my partner but, what will happen when he finds out I'm Ladybug?" Marinette sits in her desk chair.

"I don't know Mari but, if you think he's going to hate you I think you're wrong." Marinette smiles at Tikki.

"Thanks, Tikki." Marinette starts to draw some designs as Tikki goes to eat some cookies.

Adrien POV

Adrien was getting bored at home. He finishes his photo shoots and his piano lessons. He was looking at his computer when his phone buzzed. Adrien looked at it to see a text from Chloe.

Chloe: What was with you today. I wanted us to go on a date but, you were gone. Where did you go!? You are to be my boyfriend, that means going on dates with me. I kiss you and you don't even kiss me back! What was that hissing noise you made today!? Don't think I didn't hear you. You were right beside me. I want a date tomorrow You're paying and we are going to the movies than to a restaurant.

Adrien groans at the text. He writes a short text back and turns off his phone before she could text him back.

Adrien: I have to talk to you tomorrow.

Adrien looked around to see Plagg eating his camembert. "Plagg. We got to go. I told my purr-ncess I'd be coming by tonight."

"Fine. But you owe me cheese." Adrien groans.

"Ya, Ya. Fine. Plagg claws out!" Soon enough Chat Noir was jumping from roof to roof tell he got to Marinette' house. He jumped onto her balcony and looked through the glass trap door. He could see Marinette watching a movie on her laptop. She was sitting on her chaise. Chat knocked on the trap door. Marinette looked up then back at her movie. Chat took that as a sign he could let himself in. He opened the trap door and landed on her bed. "Good evening purr-ncess."

Marinette POV

Marinette was sitting at her chaise and was watching Trolls on her laptop when she heard her phone go off. She got a text from Alya.

Alya: Girl. Look at the Lady-blog. Valentine's day is here soon and I put the best post ever on the Lady-blog, You got to see it. It has the most likes on my Lady-blog.

Marinette unlocked her phone and open up the Lady-blog. She looked at the new post to see Ladybug and Chat Noir kissing. "This Is f-from last valentines. When Chat got hit by dark cupid's arrow. W-when did Alya get this!? Oh, no. When Chat sees this.. What is he going to say?" Marinette's heart was beating fast. Her face paled. She heard a familiar knock at her trap door. She looked up to see a pair of green eyes staring at her. She looked back at her phone. She could hear her him jump on her bed.

"Good evening, purr-ncess." He purred. She didn't look behind her. She just stared at her phone. When she notices Chat walking to her she hid her phone under the pillow beside her. Chat wrapped his arms around her from behind.

"Hey, Chat." Marinette stared at the screen of her laptop. Chat rested his head in the crook of her neck. Marinette could feel Chat's lips brush against her neck, making her jump. She looked behind her with a dark blush coating her face.

"Finally looking at me... What's wrong princess?" Chat asked as he sat beside her.

"Nothing. Valentines is coming up. Got any plans?" Chat puts an arm around her shoulders. Marinette smiled at him.

"Well, I thought I would spend it with my princess." Chat smirks. Marinette hands him the laptop and Chat gives her a confused look. Marinette sighed.

"I'm going to have a shower. I was going to have one before you got here but, you got here earlier then I thought you would." Marinette grabs her pajamas and a towel. She opens her bathroom door and looks at Chat. "Don't look through my things and if my parents come up to hide under my chaise. Its dark in here and when they here me in the shower they'll go back downstairs." She orders and closes the door behind her, locking it.

Adrien POV

Chat could hear Marinette turn on the shower. He took this as a chance to see what she was looking at on her phone. It was easy to get in, since she had no password. When he turned on the phone it showed the Lady-blog. He looked at the newest post to see him and Ladybug kissing.

Chat smirked at the thought.

A while later Chat had restarted the movie and was now where Marinette was when she left to have a shower. Chat heard the bathroom door open to show Marinette dressed up in a ladybug print pajama pants and a black shirt that had the words On it with green letters. Under it said Chat Noir.

"Princess, I didn't know you were a Chat Noir fan." Chat grinned.

"Shut... Up... Kitty." Marinette muttered. Chat's grin widened. Marinette had a light blush dusting her cheeks.

Chat asked himself.

"So, is this what you were upset about?" Chat holds up Marinette's phone with the picture of him and his lady kissing. Marinette froze.

"I-I thought I told you to not to go through my things!" Marinette shouted but, not loud enough for her parents to hear her. Marinette walked up to him and grabbed her phone before Chat could move it away from her reach. She put her phone on her desk then glared back at him.

"I just wanted to know why you were upset." Chat pouted. "Unless it's not just the kiss that is making you upset." Marinette didn't say anything. She looked at the ground. "Princess... What's bugging you?" Chat walked over to her. "Is it your crush? Did he do something to you?"

"N-no. It's just the kiss." She looked up at him. "And how I won't be able to give him the gift I made him." She whispered. With Chat's Cat ears he could hear what she said. His ears widen.

"Well... You could give me his gift." Chat put his index finger under her chin and raised her head up so she was staring him in the eyes.

"I-I guess I could but, it's going to take tell valentines because I need to make it fit you're head." Marinette exclaimed.

"And about that kiss with Ladybug and I." He leaned in and kissed her. Chat wrapped his arms around her waist, deepening the kiss. Marinette's arms made their way around his neck. Chat pulled back to catch his breath. "I love you and only you. I don't even remember the kiss with her."

Marinette smiled at him. The smile Chat loved. He was going to kiss her again but, stopped when he heard his miraculous beep. He sighed. "I'll see you tomorrow princess. I got to go." He kisses her forehead. "Goodnight princess." He walks up her bed ladder and was about to leave tell he felt Marinette pull his tail. He looks behind his shoulder.

"Chat... What a-are we?" Marinette asked.

"Whatever you want us to be, Mari." With that, he climbed out her trap door and ran through the night to his house.

Marinette POV

After Chat left Marinette had a hard time falling asleep. She got four hours till Tikki started to wake her up. "Marinette. You're going to be late for school. You have at least fifteen minutes till it starts." Marinette's eyes shot open. She sat straight up and climbed down her bed ladder.

"NO, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. I'm going to be late." She ran to her dresser and grabbed her clothes and went to her bathroom.

She did her twin pigtails and grabbed her bag. Tikki flew in the bag and Marinette went down her trap door to the bakery. She grabbed her lunch and breakfast. She kissed her mother and father's cheeks. "Goodbye mama, papa." She ran out the door and towards school. She could see Alya and Nino talking to each other.

"Marinette! Hey girl. Over here." Alya waved to her best friend. Marinette ran up to them. "Girl you're really rocking the Chat Noir theme clothes." Marinette looked down to see that she was wearing a dress that was light green on top and black on the bottom. She had a black bow in the middle where the green and black meet. She didn't notice what she grabbed since she was in a hurry. This was a new dress she made that she hasn't worn yet.

"What can I say? I'm a fan." Marinette smiled at Alya.

Marinette mentally sighed. She hated hiding things from Alya.

Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Lila walking onto school grounds. Marinette still felt bad for what she did to Lila before. A lot of people didn't talk to her because they thought she was a lair. Since ladybug did call her super lair. Marinette walked over to Lila.

"Hey, Lila." Marinette waved. Lila looked over at her with a confused face.

"Um... Hey. What do you want? To bully me? Call me a lair like the rest?" Lila questioned. Marinette shakes her head. Lila tilts her head in confusion. "Y-you're not?"

"No. I'm Marinette. I live in the bakery a couple of streets away. Alya and I are going there for lunch today. You want to come with us?" Marinette puts her hand out for Lila to shake it. Lila stares at Marinette's hand then back at Marinette. Lila finally takes Marinette's hand and shakes it.

"Lila and sure." Lila smiles at Marinette. "I-I hear that you liked Adrien too. I'm surprised that he picked Chloe and not you. You doing alright?" Lila asked as they head for the front door of the school. Alya and Nino walking behind them.

"Ya. My crush for him is disappearing little by little every day. Also, I'm falling for someone else-" A loud noise intrudes their chat. The four look over to where the noise came from to see Chloe and Adrien. Chloe had tears in her eyes and Adrien had a red cheek.

Adrien POV

Adrien arrived at school and saw Chloe waiting for him outside the front. He gets out and walks over to her. "Adrien-kins!" Chloe goes to hug him but, he pushes her off gently. "You are my boyfriend. That means when I hug you, you hug me back. Not push me away." Chloe growls.

"We have to talk." Adrien grabs her wrist and brings her away from other students so they couldn't hear them talking. "I'm breaking up with you."

"What!!" Chloe shouted. "If you break up with me your father is going to kill you. I did not get my daddy to get your father to make us date! You hear me!?"

"You did what!?" Adrien yelled back.

"You heard me! You are my boyfriend. You are not breaking up with me!" Chloe ordered.

"Well too bad. I'm not some toy that you can play with. I can't believe you did this, Chloe. I might have said yes if you asked me out like a normal person. Not now. We are done. And don't be rude like that to my friends-" Adrien was cut off when Chloe slapped him on the cheek.

"Why don't you just go to your loser friends then! I hate you, Adrien!" Chloe yelled as she ran off. Adrien turned around to see the all his classmates were watching. He walked over to his three friends and Lila.

"Dude, what was that about?" Nino put a hand on Adrien's shoulder.

"I couldn't take this fake dating thing anymore. My father made me date her. I just made it end." Adrien explains. The three friends and Lila walk inside the doors to their classroom. Adrien and Nino sit in their sits and turn around to look at the girls.

"Dude. That's screwed up. Your dad did that?" Adrien nods. Adrien could hear Alya whispering to Marinette.

"Girl. You hear that? You still have a chance." Alya whispered into Marinette's ear. "You got to ask him." Marinette shakes her head. "What do you mean no? You've liked him for almost two years. You can't be that crazy. This is your chance. Don't waste a whole year and a half just to not ask him out." Adrien could hear Marinette sigh.

"Alya. I don't like him anymore. I like someone else now." Alya gasps as Marinette explains the guy she likes. "His kind, caring and when I'm with him I just feel safe. His puns are bad but, I love him. So I'll put up with it." Marinette giggles. Lila was sitting beside Marinette and keep giving glares to Adrien when Marinette wasn't looking.

Third person POV

"I can't believe he broke up with me!" Chloe ran to the park and sat under a tree. Tears streaming down her cheeks. "He should be mine! He should love me!" She didn't notice a black butterfly landing on her sunglasses. Black bubbles form around her body.

A/N: I'm so, so sorry this chapter took forever to come out. I've haven't had time to write any of this chapter. Just little by little. Now its the weekend. I'm going to try my best to get two chapters done. Now. Chloe's just got Akumatized. What does she want? When will Ladybug and Chat Noir show each other who's under the mask? Will breaking up with Chloe help Adrien's relationship with Marinette? Why is Lila glaring at Adrien? Is it hate or something else? Will Ladybug and Chat Noir beat the Akumatized Chloe?
