I just really like contests, okay?
I know most of my readers are gone from this book since it's been completed AGES ago, but I decided (with your guys' vote), to hold an end of the year contest! This contest consist of four different categories you can compete from:
1) - You must compose a one-shot which consists of a minimum of 1000 words to a maximum of 2000 words basing it off of this story. Grammar and punctuation must be consistent, if not, there's a pretty good chance you won't win.
How to submit an entry: Publish it either on your Wattpad account and tag me in it so I can see it, or email it to me at [email protected] if you don't want others to read it. If you are going to publish it on your account, be sure to write in the summary: entry for @neverlanded's Red String One-shot Contest.
Prizes:
1st Place - All votes on a book of your choosing and a shoutout from my account.
2nd Place - 10 votes on a book(s) (you can split it up if you want) of your choosing and a shoutout from my account.
3rd Place - 5 votes on a book(s) (you can split it up if you want) of your choosing and a shoutout from my account.
2) - You must compose a banner which must incorporate any of the ships in the love square (bonus points if you can get all four ships on there!), and get this, the red string. The banner must be 700x110. If you are going to use fan art, be sure to credit the artist in your email/PM.
How to submit an entry: Email me at [email protected] with the image attached (you must know how to do this, because last time so many people didn't know how to attach images...) or PM me with a link to your image.

3) - Since it's fan-art, it's completely up to you on what you want to do. Examples could be a specific scene in a chapter or something you think is just cute! It must incorporate any of the ships in the love square (bonus points if you can get all four ships on there!) and get this, the red string.

4) - This, in my opinion, is the easiest one. You just need to take a picture of yourself (if you're comfortable with that), like a selfie or a photoshoot, that in the cosplay of any of the characters in the book with the red string. This can include Marinette, Adrien, or if you're really feeling ambitious, then Cliffhanger!

3rd Place - 5 votes on a book(s) (you can split it up if you want) of your choosing and a shoutout from my account.
Entries will be open from November 9th - December 31st (may be extended if necessary). You get a full month to get started and to submit them; ENTRIES ARE UNLIMITED. You can send in as much entries for whichever categories as you want!
Judging time will probably go to December 31st, hence the "end of the year" contest. I'll be having some guest judges so that it's not completely based on bias and that everyone is treated equally.
Please spread the word about this huge contest! The prizes may be edited from time to time, depending on how many entries I receive. I look forward to everyone's participation, and thank you for reading all of this!
XOXO,
Arisa

Cannon Fodder - A LitRPG Story
Not even alien scum can take down a squad of US Marines! When his dad died, Kerry Peters did the one thing he knew would have made his father proud. He signed up for the Marines. After barely making it through basic training and four days after deployment, he wasn’’t confident he’’d survive his first tour. As a bookworm, he wasn’’t considered a real soldier and most definitely not a hero. Fate, however, has had other plans for Fire Team One, and when the squad woke up in camp alone, the fight was no longer against the Vietcong … but against creatures from other worlds. This is a fairly smooth LitRPG story - so will incorporate aspects of RPG and gaming in the writing. The LitRPG side of things is most visible from Chapter 7 onwards.

This is the story of the truth behind the eyes of a man, who lived through a time when no place was ever... Quiet. A tale of the brutal honesty of the human spirit. Of the fragility of the mind.
