"Wow, what's going on?'' Alix states as the burrow started to tremble.

"There is major time anomaly where your time period will be greatly affected, "Fluff says as she looked around the portals.

"What?" Alix exclaimed as she looked through the portals to find her time stream, "Oh no!"

Through the portal, she sees France in war. Scarlet moths were taking over the city with Lady Misfortune leading the battle. The Miraculous team was at war with every person that has every been akumatized.

"You have to go back!"Fluff states worriedly.

"I can't we have to find answers now," Alix said in determination as she left to look through the portals, "I am missing something. Future Chat Noir says it not about Hawkmoth." She kept looking at portals and notice that through the years there was a change, "I'm missing something."

"Like time!"Timetagger appeared to attack.

"Not you again you pipsqueak!"Alix growled as she looks at him in a fighting stance, "Fluff clockwise!"

"Your time in wonderland is done Alice," Timetagger threaten.

"Yeah right!" Bunnyx yells as she aims her umbrella to create a portal in front of him to cause him to move away. Bunnyx then took the opportunity to escape to an unknown portal with the miraculous egg, "When am I now?"

"Your back?" Exclaimed the younger Master Fu with crossed arms, "I can't believe I trained some incompetent heroes."

"Excuse me, uh Master Fu right?" Bunnyx argues as she got up to stare up at him as he nodded, "I need your help."

Master Fu gave her a suspicious look as he doesn't want to be involved with messing uptime. His eyes popped open as he noticed that she had the Miraculous egg, "How did you get that?"

"From the new guardian, she gave it to me to protect and hide it. She has been akumatized by the moth miraculous," Bunnyx admitted.

"Ihya asamiowa! Of all the immature self-serving. Someone is going to use the miraculous for evil. This is terrible," Master Fu gripped his black hair, "So that explains why you been in the time stream."

"Yeah, I haven't been able to get answers. There is an akumatized villain after me with almost the same powers of the bunny miraculous." Bunnyx explained, "I think I'm failing to do my duties."

"Ah, Plagg mentioned the boy and girl that were after him before you return him," Master Fu responded as he let his guard down to try to make her feel better, "You are not failing your duties. You just haven't figure out the true obstacle."

"So what do I do now? Wait, you said a girl? I thought it was just me and the cat holder," Bunnyx replied.

"He mentions you guys too but he said there was other two after them," Master Fu says as he looked at Bunnyx confused expression, "Hold on let me get him. PLAGG!"

"I swear I didn't do it," Plagg yelled as he came from the next room, "Okay I admit I may have stolen the lady who owns the building cheese but it was BLUE CHEESE! It was imported!"

"Nei gaau me gwai aa! PLAGG!!!" Master Fu yelled before biting his tongue, "I called you here about your time in the burrow."

"I'm sorry about Bronck! Dinosaurs are wusses anyway."

"About your encounter, "Master Fu clarified angrily.

"Oh the kid with the smurf colored skin and nagging girl," Plagg responds.

"That's Timetagger," Bunnyx responds, "But who is the nagging girl?"

"I don't know it was some chick," Plagg states, "Future me knew who she was. She was this annoying," Plagg held his paw above him to show the height. "Then this bratty," Plagg floated higher.

"You said the other Plagg knew her?"Bunnyx asked.

"Yeah, I guess she was from your timeline, "Plagg shrugs.

"That's it!" Bunnyx stated, "Whoever she is..."

"Is a great danger to you," TimeTagger says as he appeared out of a portal.

"I am now done with this game, "Bunnyx stated as she did a fighting pose with her umbrella.

"Good I could use a good fight," Master Fu bowed as he transformed with the turtle and cat Miraculous combine.

"Everything is falling into place," Lila smiled as she looked through the portal to see the fight between Chat Noir and Ladybug from the past and the present(future technically). "The sentimonster finally did its job."

"What are you talking about?" Emilie asked as she chained along with her husband.

"You should thank me," Lila chuckled.

"Lila explain yourself!"Ordered Gabriel.

"Your pathetic son for all these years wouldn't dare finish off Misfortune," She explained, "I finally made him lose hope in his precious ladybug."

"What do you mean?" Emilie asked.

"Her humanity still exists. I had to eliminate all the possibility of him to think that she was able to be saved," Lila chuckles, "Now both will be killed before the new future! Huh?"

The spray paint portals started disappearing, "What is going on?"

"Her plan is working," Gabriel coughed.

Lila's eyes furrowed in anger, "Alix..."

The young blond continued, "I know what your heart is like. I've felt it! Your heart is full of light, Ladybug."

He gazed deep into Misfortune's eyes, not their usual warm blue but golden and cat-like, with a look of such sincerity and pleading it could soften even the most stone-cold heart, "Your heart is so pure and good that it saved me."

Misfortune's expression became unsure with every word. He was getting through to her.

"You didn't let me go and I'm not going to let you go, so you have to fight this, Ladybug! You have to break free! You have to come back because..."

Chat Noir's voice trailed off and tears formed in his eyes as he said something he should have said a long time ago, "I... love you."

Everybody gasped at his words, astonished. He'd used the last of his strength to say those three words.

"Chat Noir!" Queen Bee shouted, watching him collapse.

Misfortune was frozen in her spot as she watched him collapse.

"Get his Miraculous!" Scarlet Hawkmoth ordered in her head.

"No," Misfortune mumbles as she realized what was going on, "He'll come... he'll understand."

Chat Noir was surrounded by his team including Carapace. Misfortune reaction caused a paused with the akumatized villains.

"You won't get his Miraculous!" Stated Queen Bee.

"All will be explained," Misfortune stated toward Chat Noir who was now getting up, "Follow me to end this."

"Hey, what's going on!" Chris yells as was being tied up by Master Fu.

"Chris I need you to tell me who that girl was with you," Bunnyx asked.

"I can't she'll hurt my brother," Chris said with fear in his tone.

"Boy, she wants to save him. Now tell her what she wants to know," Master Fu threaten.

"Come on Chris do the right thing. Master Fu finally cleanse the Akuma. You'll no longer become Timetagger," Bunnyx said

Chris sighed knowing she was right, "It's Lila..."

"What?" Bunnyx says in shock.

"She's been behind everything," Chris explained.

"What how?" Bunnyx asked.

"She wants that wish Bunnyx. You don't have much time. You can't let her get Chat Noir Miraculous from the past," Chris warned.

"You must go Bunnyx," Master Fu urged.

"But what about Chris?" Bunnyx says as she got up.

"I will take him back to his time period. Go and save your future," Master Fu says. Bunnyx nodded as she created a portal, "Bunnyx!"

"Yeah," she responded to look back at Master Fu.

"I am honored that I was able to trust your guardian to have you as her member of her miraculous team," Master Fu said.

"Thanks," Bunnyx smiled as she went through the portal.

"Would it kill ya to smile? You look like a mug shot!" Plagg commented at Master Fu's face as Bunnyx portal disappeared.

"It is uncertain to what future we will face," Master Fu responds, "I only hope the future is now set to the right path."

"I've waited 30 years for this moment," Chat Noir could feel the blood dripping from his nose as Misfortune hit him against the wall of the broken bridge again. His vision was flickering. It took everything she had to focus on the dark red and black silhouette. Resolve to harden her gaze, he waited for Lady Misfortune to pull her closer another time and put all her strength behind a punch aimed at his chest.

He dropped her and pulled away at an inhuman speed, but it didn't completely save him. Chat Noir tried to get to his feet, but his leg gave way beneath his. He hit the ground hard and coughed up blood. Get up, he yelled at himself, get up!

"Where are your friends now, when you need them most?" Lady Misfortune asked, her voice jumping in octaves as she stopped shaking. "Abandoned you, just like you did to me."

As she said the last word, Lady Misfortune surged forward. Chat Noir brought his staff to block and winced. His fingers were trembling from fatigue. Lady Misfortune was as much leaning on him as she was trying to push him down. Her free hand shot out the marionette strings and Chat Noir was blasted off to the edge of the broken bridge, Lady Misfortune falling in a heap without him to hold her up.

Falling down the slope of the broken bridge, Chat Noir jammed his staff into the wall to slow his descent. He hit one of the plateaus at an angle and her ankle screamed in agony. No, no, no, no, he thought. He pulled himself up and just started running. She didn't even try to hold back enough energy to stop. The momentum kept her legs moving, bounding leaps that were a product of pure desperation.

Lady Misfortune realized he was coming and spun—half a second too slow. He hit her with the force of a living battering ram. Bringing his staff up as she leaped at him, she slashed at her mask with all he had. The impact sent him flying over her and scraping along the ground until friction brought him to a full stop. Lady Misfortune's scream sent ice through his veins.

Don't stop, he could only manage to think. He pulled in, bringing his knees up to a tentative kneel. All he needed was to go a little further as he got up.

"Adrien."The world stilled. The whip of the wind lost all sound and time stopped. Chat Noir felt his chest tighten. That voice—her voice. He pushed himself up and turned. Lady Misfortune was also kneeling but on a single knee. Her mask was turned to the side, but he could see the gouge he'd cut along the mask. Inside, he could see the glow of a single blue iris. "Adrien," she repeated, this time with more surety.

His breath caught. "Marinette . . ."

They both unsteadily got to their feet.

"I won't leave you," he declared, his voice thick with emotion. "Not—not this time."

Lady Misfortune—Marinette looked at him with a brief moment of confusion. It passed as his visible eye hardened again. The tension that kept her body like a coiled spring clicked back into place. Instead, she flicked out her yoyo, "Then you will die."

"Ladybug Listen. I know it isn't true just look into my eyes, "Chat Noir begged as he followed her to his own home, to the locked greenhouse, "I know you feel it too. I swear it's not too late."

"You don't know how much I've been denied. Well, I'm not being patient anymore, "Lady Misfortune says.

"But you're making a mistake. With each passing day, you're further astray from the light. Suddenly, you lose your way and lose the thread. Lose your cool, then lose your head. Every loss is harder to excuse. Then you'll see you'll lose your faith and lose your soul. You can still fight it. You proved it, please come back Marinette!"Chat Noir says as he held out his hand to reach hers.

Lady Misfortune nodded a no, "Yes it's true, my path is dark but I see where it ends. I'm not lost, this fate was mine to choose."

"Is it worth it?" Chat Noir asked, "Listen please, you've lost your grip and lost your mind."

Lose? I'm not gonna lose," Lady Misfortune explained.

All's not lost, don't be so blind," Chat Noir asked her as she stepped away no longer wanting to fight.

"I refuse, "Lady Misfortune, "I'm doing this for you."

"Doing what?"Chat Noir begged for the answer.

"Follow me," She says as she stomped on the glass of the greenhouse to jump in.

Chat Noir goes in to follow her. He didn't think much of it when he jumped in but as he looked around he was unfamiliar with where he was. It is a large room with an arched ceiling, barely lit by lights along the sidewalls, and what appears to be a beam of sunlight from a skylight. A catwalk extends the length of the room down the middle. The far end of the room appears to have a tree growing from the floor below, and the main wall at that end features a design identical of moth's, "Where am I?"

He started to walk to catwalk where at the end stood Lady Misfortune. She was at a platform covered in greenery; grass covers the floor, bushes and flora decorate the platform, and what appear to be trees snake across as well as underneath the platform. A green glow emanates from underneath the platform where is held in a glass-covered cryogenic pod, "This is where your mom is kept."

Then he sees the pod, "Mother?"

"Get his Miraculous Lady Misfortune!"Hawkmoth ordered as flew down on the giant moth.

"Why are you doing this?" Chat Noir yelled angrily as he watch Hawkmoth land next to him.

"I'm doing it for her. I'm doing it for my son!" Hawkmoth barks.

"Your Hawkmoth..."Chat Noir growls as he watched him stood beside Lady Misfortune. A great hate boiled in his heart as Hawkmoth was the reason everything that was going on. Chat Noir couldn't comprehend how terrible his father could be to be destroy the entire city. Everything started to make sense about his father behavior. He understood why he was doing this, Adrien would want to do everything to get his mom back too. But to an extent where he akumatized all his friends putting everyone in the city in danger.

"See he's not the bad guy," Lady Misfortune explained, "See this will all end when you give us the miraculous."

Chat Noir held onto his fist unsure what to do. The two people that he most cared about was evil on his behalf, "No! This is wrong! She is gone!"

"That's why we can bring her back," Lady Misfortune states.

"Sorry m'lady," Chat Noir pulled out his staff ready to fight, "I can't just do it."

"Heros," Hawkmoth states, "So heroic." Hawkmoths miles evilly, gets his cane , and hits Chat Noir across the catwalk.

"I thought you would understand," Lady Misfortune growls.

"I do..." Chat Noir stuttered as he still question his own decison in this battle.

Their movements were sluggish. Neither were at their best anymore. Their power clashes as it created a vortex around them. A series of concussions booms blew inwards and shot debris at them like confetti. The energy swirl at the center was as blinding as the flash grenade had been. Their staff and yoyo were locked together when the area around them exploded and separated them..

"Does this lighten your heart?" She asked in a rasp.

"I'm sorry," he said. "I'm sorry for leaving."

"Sorry isn't enough," she roared, stumbling over to him.

Chat Noir managed to pull himself up to a sitting position, his staff miraculously still clutched in a death-grip. Even at the end, his instincts still stayed with him. He looked up to see his partner towering over him like a reaper. He couldn't quite bring himself to look into her eyes. "I'm sorry for what happened to you."

"I will never stop," she growled. "Every last one of them—those people you call friends—I will see every one of them dead, your name on their dying breath."

Chat Noir chuckled as she already accomplish that, "Tell me how's it feel sittin' up there. Feeling so high but too far away.You know I'm the one who put you up there name in the sky."

"Thats why it ends with you,"Lady Misfortune states.

You abandoned me—you failed me! Do you know . . . what I've become?

The words of his dreams resonated within him. Yes, he knew. Marinette was truly dead. He failed her, just like Lady Misfortune said. He also knew what he had to do. His green eyes hardened and he looked up into the thing that used Marinette like a puppet—that had killed his partner. Resolve calmed his heartbeat and relaxed the tension in his muscles. "Goodbye, M'lady."

In a swift movement, he drop his staff and ran towards her. Lady Misfortune had a fraction of a second to start rearing back, but she couldn't move fast enough. Chat noir got her hand with his and cataclysm the both of them. Their's world was engulfed in blindingly white light and then nothingness.

"Look I'm sorry I have to do this," Lady Misfortune says as she took his ring with her strings

"No!" Chat Noir yelled as he was transforming back to Adrien.

Lady Misfortune was about to recieve the ring, "Its too late."

"It never too late," Bunnyx blasted as she stop the ring from reaching her hand and into her own.

"Late much," Adrien said as Bunnyx quickly placed the ring on his finger to transform back into Chat Noir.

"I'm never late yall just early," Bunnyx commented as she broke the strings away from Lady Misfortune.

"Adrien join me to save your mother," Hawkmoth ordered.

"Not this way father," Chat Noir growls as he was ready to fight him again.

"I somehow missed a lot," Bunnyx commented in confusion, "But where is the scarf?"

"What?" Chat Noir asked in confusion.

"That where Lady Misfortune akuma is hidden," Bunnyx explained as they were being attack by Lady Misfortune and Hawkmoth.

Chat Noir recalled that night when Ladybug gave him the scarf out of her Lucky Charm. He connected the fact that Marinette must of transfer the akuma into some tangible but left it with him.

"At the pod," Chat Noir states as he spotted from the distance.

Bunnyx nodded as she ran towards it leaving Chat Noir to fight on his own. She finally reached the platform but someone got in her way, "Sorry Alix your not stopping my future."

"Your future is history," Bunnyx states as she immediately used her umbrella to push Volpina out of the way. And use it powers to destroy the scarf in her hand.

Lady Misfortune began to yell as she crumbled to the floor. A dark smoke appear and rotated Lady Misfortune. The smoke wrapped around her form completely in a cocoon. Hawkmoth and Chat Noir stopped the fight to watch what was occurring.

A burst of light emanated from within the smoke, next second, a hand burst free. Another flash of light burst into existence, beams of it radiating from each of the Lady Misfortune's new fingers. The dark smoke turns into a lighter shade of red.
