Adrien gripped the scarf that Ladybug had given him before she left. He examined every thread and stitch hoping to get an answer on what he needs to do.

"Kid?" Plagg states as looked at Adrien with a worried look.

"I don't know what to do," Adrien sighed as he rubbed his eye.

"Kid, I think you do,"Plagg commented, "I know you want to save her but..."

"Don't say it," Adrien interuppted.

"Look, I'm done joking around. Ladybug does not want you to be a cowardly cat. She would want you to charge as she fallen to well the dark side." Plagg tries to snap the knowledge into Adrien.

Adrien wanted to argue with him but sighed knowing he is right, "So I guess the answer is easy to see for you."

"Adrien, Marinette is far more powerful than you think. Even Master Fu mentioned that she is the strongest holder to ever exist. It's time to rise up or it's time to stand down," Plagg states, "She can't have your miraculous!"

"I know,"Adrien states as he got up to look up out his window to stare up at the sky as he gripped the scarf, "I guess were going to war. There's no more chances, no more trust, and no more mercy. I have to save the day even if it means defeating her..."

"I should go back!" Alix cried out as she looked at the portal that she just came through. The portal revealed the fight between Misfortune and Chat Noir.

"You can't Alix!" Fluff cried out as she paused Alix from touching the portal.

"Hey my hands not going through,"Alix commented as the portal felt like a window.

"Once you visit a time stream and make a change you may not go back," Fluff explained.

"So I can't change time," Alix states as she slam the portal before leaving it alone to walk through the burrow as she carried the egg.

"Time is a sensitive matter. That's why your power is limited. This is your path of your past, present, and future," Fluff explained.

"Well I have to change it. The city is in ruins because Marinette turned evil," Alix argues, "But she said she was protecting our future so something went wrong with her plan."

"Some time events can't be stopped. Her actions may have made it worse," Fluff replies.

"No, Ladybug always knew the solution," Alix tried to figure it out, "Thats why she gave me my miraculous. I just wished I knew what she knew."

"Exploring another path where you don't know when it start is a difficult task," Fluff comments, "For you time works backwards and forwards. You can permantley alter the timestream."

Alix didn't know what to do as she yells, "What do you want me to do about it?"

"Alix your looking at time like watching a parade, one thing after another passing by in sequence right in front of you. You must see the parade from above, all the twists and turns it might or might not take," Fluff comments.

"Twists and turns," Alix states as she pondered her thoughts as she looked through the portals, "Guide me to 10 years ago."

"10?" Fluff asked in confusion.

"Adrien was around his thirties. He said I died ten years ago," Alix commented, "I have the powers to time travel. Maybe there a clue."

"Alix it is not safe for you to go there," Fluff says worriedly.

"I know, but I still need answers to what happened. Only my older self would have the answers."

"I'm ready..." Chat Noir sighed as he waited at the top of the roof with his staff and scarf tied around his waist.

"Are you sure we can do this?" Rene Rouge asked as she looked at him with a worried look.

"Together we can guarantee," Chat Noir nodded, "Marinette must be stopped."

"Ready Scarlet Hawkmoth and catalyst?" Marinette asked as was heading to a public event where all her friends and news were, "despair is about to begin."

"Stop right there Marinette!" She heard Chat Noir from behind her.

The crowds immediately paused as they look at Marinette and Chat Noir to surround them, "And to think you were about to miss all the fun."

"We all know who you are now. The sherades are over," Chat Noir approached her with staff in hand ready to fight.

Marinette chuckles, "Do they know too?" She refered to the people present.

"You won't hurt anyone. So here's your chance to give up," Chat Noir growls.

Marinette smirked, "I won't but you will." Then immediately Marinette eyes rolled back as she fell to the floor.

Lila was already at the scene to make a comment as everyone stared and ask worriedly at what was going on, "Chat Noir how dare you attack Marinette!"

The crowd froze and immediately then started to put blame on Chat Noir, "What? NO! SHE IS A VILLIAN!"

"YOU are a hero! Your so suppose to stop the akumatized villians not hurt innocent civilians," Lila argues.

"You don't understand," Chat Noir says as he started to approach to where Marinette laid but was immediately pulled back by the police.

Marinette then started to groan and everyone started to calm down. Chat Noir pushed them away as he approached her, "Your game is over Lady Misfortune."

Marinette touched her head, "What are you talking about Chat Noir? Where am I?"

"Cute," Chat Noir growls unamused, "Your coming with me."

"Your not taking her any where," Yelled someone from the crowds.

"Oww, Chat that hurts," Marinette says as he gripped her arm to pull her up.

"He's says he the hero but look he's hurting her," yelled out Lila, "He the reason why Ladybug is gone!"

The crowds began to uproar and Chat Noir couldn't control the crowd anymore, "No! Hawkmoth is behind it!"

"Chat Noir what's going on?" Marinette asked with panic eyes.

"Like you don't know," Chat Noir growls as he then got Marinette waist and used his staff for them to escape onto the roof. The crowds immediately began to riot, demanding to go after him.

Marinette immediately pushed him off of her when they landed on the roof, "Chat Noir what's going on?"

Chat Noir glove immediately started to glow, "I'm sorry but this is the only way. Your reign is over Lady Misfortune."

"Chat stop!" Marinette squeal as she put her arms on her face.

Chat Noir stopped from the fearful tone in her voice, "M'lady?"

Marinette eyes widen, "m'lady? How did? What's going on?"

"Do you not remember?" Chat Noir asked then the miraculous team arrive to join them.

"What?" Marinette started to panic as she looked around everything that was going on, "The voices... Chat Noir you have to stop me, do whatever it takes!"

"Tell me how?!" Chat Noir yells as he grabbed her shoulders as she shivered.

"Kill me..." she says as he pushed himself away, shock at what she said "Thats the only way."

"But, I can't. Your..."

"Please do,"Then Marinette screams in agony. A slicing pain snakes through her torso. Lightning flares as the darkness swirls around her.

"Marinette!" Chat Noir cried out.

"Goodbye my prince," Trapped and chained down, every time she resists, the restraints become tighter. Darkness surrounds her, impairing her judgment. Then her eyes glowed, "I hope you enjoyed seeing her for the last time."

"You will pay!" Chat Noir grows as he immediately tried to throw the punch.

Marinette eyes glowed as she transformed into Lady Misfortune and dodge his punch, "I knew you wouldn't do what it takes." Then she went close to the edge to reveal the scarlet moths approaching like a flood as it covered the city.

"Go and protect the citizens!" Chat Noir ordered Carapace as he went off with Rene Rouge, "Queen Bee watch my back."

"With so much despair you can't win!" Mocked Lady Misfortune.

"Not if I have anything to do with it!" Cried out Chat Noir as he tried to throw a punch but Lady Misfortune had dodged it. Yet before he could retaliate or stop Lady Misfortune from escaping, he was struck from behind. Chat Noir quickly used his cataclysm to destroy the yo yo. He had hope it was where her akuma was kept but it was to no avail.

"I'm glad you still haven't lost your edge. I thought it was going to be a easy fight," Lady Misfortune's voice mocked. Queen Bee was about to step in when she realize she was surrounded by Dark Cupid and Reverser. Chat Noir realized that he was on his own with Ladybug. He then started to try throw punches towards Lady Misfortune, "So, you're practicing killing blows now. I'm impressed."

"Shut up!" He growls as she dodge his punches in swift movement and used her marionette powers to attack him.

"It's good to know that not all is lost," she continued mercilessly. "Before you believed, you could never condone murder. Could never let yourself become like me..."

"I never will be like you!" Chat Noir shouted, outraged. Blinded by his unleashed fury, he didn't even know he was trembling. But Lady Misfortune saw it and went on.

"Oh we both know thats not true," Lady Misfortune fortune taunted as she then made her way to escape as more akumatized villians appeared before Chat Noir.

Alix went through the portal to arrive into the Effiel tower. Instead of it being completely run down and destroyed, the tower was in smokes. Alix looked around in a worried look, "Ok now how do I find me?" She then heard an explosion which caused the tower to tremble.

"Watch out!" Cried out Fluff as she saw the tower started to crumple.

"What?" Alix yells as she turns to see one of the beams falling down on her.

"Watch out!" A different person yelled but before Alix can react she was pushed out of the way by her future self.

Alix watched as she saw the beam fall where she stood causing a huge impact, "Thanks for the save."

"Mini me?" Bunnix asked in shock as he just realize it was herself from the past, "What are you doing here?"

"I came to find answers," Alix explained, "What is happening?"

"It is not a good time here. Create a portal I will explain once were out of danger," Bunnix ordered as Alix open the portal for them to enter and transfer to a different location.

They arrive to a abandon building which Alix quickly realize is the museum or at least what remains, "Mini me what are you doing here?"

"To find the twist and turns," Alix states.

"I don't understand I never came to the future," Bunnix stated in confusion.

Alix gave a puzzled expression and asked, "Wait how much do you know about Lady Misfortune?"

Bunnix gave a puzzle look, "Hawkmoth akumatized Marinette into Lady Misfortune when she fell into despair as a hero. It feels like a distant dream since that day. The world has gone dark since then."

Alix looked around to see the displays, "what has happened?"

"Paris became a battle field. With Ladybug no longer able to repair damage of the city, is now becoming ruins," Bunnix explained as she walked through the museum, "It was a all out war against her and Hawkmoth. Desperate to get Chat Noir ring."

"Why haven't you gone back to change things?" Alix asked in confusion.

"I got my miraculous a bit too late to do that mini me," Bunnix sighed as she showed her waist, "I lost my umbrella a while ago."

"This doesn't make sense," Alix says worriedly as she couldn't make sense of it.

"Mini me, I don't think you'll find your answers here. But you must do what ever you can to change this future. If their is truly a disturbance in the timeline it was not here."

"I will do my best," Alix nodded as she transformed to create a portal, "Good luck Future me."

"Wait," Future Bunnix called out, "Have you seen the future?"

Alix froze as she was uncomfortable to answer that, "Yeah I did." She then turned to face her future self with a smile, "We'll save the day."

Bunnix sighed in relief then heard a crashing happening in the museum, "Goodluck mini me." Bunnix says as watched her younger self disappeared in the portal and ran towards where the crashing noise was heard.

She runs to find Lady Mosfortune threatening Chat Noir as he laid on the floor, "Join me. Please, all I want is for this to end."

"I can't," Chat Noir groans in exhaustion then a akuma floated on him.

"This is the only way to end it. Trust me," Lady Misfortune said sweetly.

At this point Chat Noir has lost hope and looked at her. All he wanted was for things to go back so he agreed.

"No!" Cried out Bunnix.

"I'm sorry Alix," Chat Noir apologizes as his eye turned blue. The darkness invades Chat Noir's body, consuming his soul and annihilating his humanity. It exposes every part of the villain he tries to hide and forget. That he is the fault of his father and Ladybug to turn evil. The deepest abyss of his mind—the place where all of his regrets and fears lurk in the shadows—imprisons him.

The face of every person he ever betrayed, all of the lives they ended on his behalf, and the faces of the innocent children he left as orphans torment him. Chat Noir shouts into the void, but no one hears his cries. He wants to shut his eyes, but the darkness forces them open while it replicates each fragment of suffering he ever inflicted on another living soul. Chat Noir feels every deathly strike, agonizing akuma attack, and blows as casulalties.

The insurmountable pain leaves him desiring nothing more than death. But the darkness refuses to finish its cruel game. It leaves its greatest weapon for last. Soon, images of Ladybug, Marinette, surround him to torture his soul.

"You've failed me!" she shouts. "You didn't save me!"

"No, Mari. You don't understand."

"You never avenged my death! You are a coward!"

"Marinette!" Chat Noir screams at the ghost when she turns away. Chat Noir suffocates as the darkness ravages his body. It blackens his spirit intending to snuff out the last glimmers of light in his heart.

"Adrien!" Marinette calls out from the void.

"No!" Chat Noir yells, shaking his head. "I know you're not real!"

"Of course I am," the voice answers,"You lied to me, Adrien! You said you wouldn't let me down, but you did!"

"Mari!" he wails. "Please—"

"You made a terrible mistake."

The pain crushes and squeezes Chat Noir to the point where he no longer breathes. His green irises disappear into a pool of a blue sludge. The darkness consumes nearly every part of the hero. His ears ring with the shrieks of the darkness. The darkness devours his soul. His strength flees as he fights a losing battle. Finally, the darkness overpowers him and he was no longer Chat Noir but Chat Blanc.

"M'lady?" Chat Blanc smiled as he looked up at Lady Misfortune.

She smiled back, "Hey Kitty."

"Are we finally going to be together?" He said with a smile.

"Of cour..." She stated as she pulled him up but was cut off as they heard a bullet shot that hit her shoulder.

"I may not have my umbrella but I won't let this happen!" Yelled Bunnix as she held the gun.

"M'lady!" Cried out Chat Blanc as he caught her. He looked up to see Bunnix with a deep anger.

"Adrien fight it! That isn't her!" Bunnix begged as she put down the gun.

There was no way to reason with him as he didn't give a second thought.

Chat Blanc grinned to himself as he threw Bunnix to the wall, watching how she coughed out blood. She had cuts and claws mark all over body, which were bleeding seriously. She staggered a little as she was trying to get up but she falls on her knees breathing heavily.

Chat Blanc squats in front of her as he tilted his head with a smug look on his face, "You will no longer hurt my Ladybug. Cataclysm!"

His hand glowed white as its struck her stomach, "Adrien..."

When she said his name, he froze as he looked to see what he was done, "Alix!" He immediately regretted it as his hand started to tremble.

"Its not your fault," Alix tried to reassure as her body started to reiterate.

"I... I...." Chat Blanc didn't know how to respond.

"Its up to you now to save the day buddy," Bunnix says.

"I...I can't," Chat Blanc says tearfully.

"I believe in you," she smiles one last time as she turned into ashes, "There always a solution."
