"Marinette please don't do this," Tikki says as Marinette was walking around her room and drawing on her pullout of Adrien's schedule.

"Gross I was too obsessed with him," Marinette mumbled as she writing all over it, "Tikki can you zip it, I know what I'm doing."

"But the Akuma power is too dangerous," Tikki wanted to argue.

"I am controlling it," Marinette says, "I told you to shut it. I already get patronized by Adrien and Alix who won't now leave me from their sites."

"What are you going to do?" Tikki asked.

"I need to find Hawkmoth's hideout," Marinette explained.

"How are you going to do that?" Tikki asked worriedly.

"Don't worry. I told Adrien, I would not hurt anyone, "Marinette commented as her eyes glowed purple, "But again they think I'm the bad guy, so let's bring down justice with some help."

"You have to tell the team," Alix argues with Adrien as they were walking around the museum.

"And tell them what?" Adrien asked as he been avoiding to confess to the team about Marinette as a threat to the city. He believed it was still up for debate but Alix knew otherwise.

"They have to know," Alix sighed as she knew she was upsetting him, "I don't like it either."

"Marinette is our friend," Adrien sighed, "I can't fight her."

"She is not our friend, that isn't her," Alix argues.

"I can't fight her!" Adrien yells which caused Alix to freeze in her steps. Adrien hadn't expected himself to shout, "I won't be able to."

"Why not?" Alix asked as she still didn't understand how Adrien has been feeling.

"I'm in love with her..."Adrien admitted.

"Wait with Marinette?" Alix asked as she realized that how as Chat Noir he was in love with Ladybug but as Adrien he only saw her as a friend.

Adrien realized what Alix asked, that Ladybug and Marinette were the same person. He could do nothing but stare. Her confused look, eyebrows furrowed. Her cheeks are red with what seemed to be her frustration she had been venting. Mouth parted slightly, head tilted, "Adrien, seriously. When are you going to stop staring? Did I say something weird?"

"I've been in love with her this whole time and I never realize that they're the same person," He dropped his gaze to his feet, "I do and I was too blind to see it."

"Wow, I'm getting a headache. You two never knew each other identities. Chat liked Ladybug. And she..." Alix started to state before being cut off by an explosion in the museum.

"Seems like there's trouble," Adrien looked back to where the explosion was heard as Alix nodded with agreement.

Alix and Adrien then ran out to transform into their hero forms to see the commotion. As they ran to the scene Chat Noir froze in his spot as he saw the akumatized villain before him. The villain was wearing a samurai outfit. She held a sword of justice and her eyes were with a blindfold. It was Marinette as he recognizes her features and the ladybug color scheme. Her hair was tied with two buns and a crown above her head.

"Marinette?" Bunnix rhetorically asked.

"It Princess Justice!" She yells as she pointed her sword to aim at Bunnix. A beam came out of it and Chat Noir pushed Bunnix away, "I will bring justice!" She yelled as she looked at the heroes, "STARTING with the guilty."

"That doesn't sound right," Chat Noir says fearfully as he was helping Bunnix get up.

Princess Justice then aimed her sword at them once again, they were unable to move away in time as they waited for impact. However, Carapace came to the scene and created a shield to bounce off the beam, "Not without a lawyer your honor!"

The beam that bounced off his shield headed toward Princess Justice's direction. Instead of her moving out of the way she caught it in her hand and absorb the beam.

"Princess Justice! Chat Noir has returned it won't be long before Ladybug to reappear!" Hawkmoth said through her mind.

Princess Justice just chuckled, "You have no idea Hawkmoth. We only need to worry about Chat Noir's Miraculous. Ladybug has already been taken care of."

She refocused on the battle as Chat Noir was charging at her with his staff. She kicks him away, breaking the staff, and flips up to her feet. He then leaped away as Princess Justice tried to aim at him again.

She missed as his figure vanishes as it was an illusion created by Rene Rouge, "Not today Princess Justice!"

Chat Noir came from behind, "Marinette this isn't you!"

Princess Justice growled as she now loaded the mention of her name, "She's so gone you oversize cat!"

"No!" Chat Noir yelled as jumped from on top of her from a statue but missed as she flew away.

"Marinette was insecure in her skin," Princess Justice explained to him as she approached him, "Like a puppet, a girl on a string."

Queen Bee then appeared to throw stingers at her. However, Princess Justice avoided as she aimed at Queen Bee. Carapace jumped to try his shield again but Princess Justice's beam hit him and made him vanished into her sword.

"Retreat!" Yelled out Pegasus as he created a portal for the team to escape as there was not enough room to fight in the museum.

"Go ahead!" Ordered Chat Noir, "I'll lure her out! Just have a plan ready!"

The team nodded as they left through the portal. Leaving Chat Noir to have a showdown with Princess Justice, "What are you trying to prove kitty?"

"Misfortune what is going on?" Chat Noir asked angrily as he knew she was the one in control.

"Oh me?" Princess Justice chuckled as her body transformed into Misfortune then transformed back into Princess Justice, "I'm demanding justice against the innocent."

"Hmm," Chat Noir says as he leaned on his staff pretending he was pondering in thought, "I'm technically a hero so what charges are placed on me, princess."

"For getting in the way," She growls as she aimed her sword towards him without sending out a beam.

"Come on m'lady I know this isn't you," Chat Noir teased as he avoided her beams and hit them away with his staff. Instead of trying to fight her like an enemy, he hopes he can remind her who they use to be. He remembers how scared she was when she used her powers on him and Alix at the school when she came back, "You know you can't break away from who you are."

"Broke away? I learned to fly. If you want her back you gotta let her shine," Princess chuckles as she paused attacking, "So it looks like the joke's on you 'Cause the girl that you thought you knew...She's so gone."

"No!" Chat Noir yells as he tried to approach her as she flew up.

"That's so over now. You won't find her around. You can look but you won't see the girl I used to be."Princess announces as she aims at him but misses as he started to try to leave the museum.

"No, I know your in there. Please remember!"

"Here I am, this is me. And I'm stronger than you ever thought I'd be," Princess Justice says as she transformed back into Misfortune for a moment so he can see her face clearly as she appeared in front of him.

"No, Marinette was stronger," Chat Noir stated as he ran out towards a different direction, "She can beat you."

"Now if that was true. Are you mad? That you're missing out on who I am," Princess justice continued as she hammered the floor so the floor can tremble beneath his feet.

Rocky masses emerge from the earth and are followed by the opening of fissures that send up curtains of dust and wind. Chat Noir lost his balance as he fell through the ground and hung onto a floor edge, "Now it looks like the joke's on you, 'cause the girl that you thought you knew...That's so over now. You won't find her around. You can look but you won't see. The girl I used to be, she's so gone away."

"Don't worry I'll find her," Chat Noir stated as he finally reached a window to escape out.

Princess Justice growled in anger as Hawkmoth made contact with her, "What is going on? Get his miraculous."

"Don't worry Hawkmoth," Princess Justice stated as she went to go find him, "Justice will be served." She stated as he played along with his game as Hawkmoth still didn't know that Princess Justice is Misfortune.

When she was finally outside of the museum she looked around to find an army of the illusion of the team, "Frauding identities are we, Rene Rouge?" She rhetorically asked as she spun her hammer to destroy her illusions into smoke.

"More like uh distracting you," Monkey King announced as he ran from the smoke to touch her sword with his staff to cause it to malfunction.

But just as he did she captured King Monkey into her sword and growled in frustration. "So Princess, can I make a motion that releases the turtle and the monkey?" Chat Noir asked.

She growled as the string started to reveal themselves, "Motion denied!"

"Go, Queen Bee!" Ordered Pegasus as he pulls Chat Noir through a portal to go onto a rooftop.

Queen Bee threw her top to go after her as Princess Justice fought it off. "What kind of villain is this!?" Rene Rouge asked in frustration.

"She indeed has more powers than in comparison to Hawkmoth other villains," Pegasus added.

"Chat..." Bunnix hinted towards him as she hoped he'll tell them what is going on.

"We're going to need Mister Bug Chat," Queen Bee concluded.

"No," Chat admitted as he stepped back to see Princess Justice destroying Queen Bee's top.

"What?" Pegasus asked in confusion, "Ladybug Miraculous charm is what we need to clean her Akuma."

"It's gone now. They only way is to destroy it," Chat Noir growled, "Rene Rouge creates illusions around her, Viperion watch my back, and Pegasus create a portal under her when I give the word. Bunnix and Queen Bee help Rene Rouge."

"What is he talking about?" Queen Bee asked in confusion as the group split to follow the plan.

"We are now on our own without the Ladybug miraculous," Bunnix answered to answer her question.

Queen Bee wanted to ask more but it was not the time as Rene Rouge created more illusions and Queen Bee was needed to follow Chat Noir's plan. The plan went through as Princess Justice was outnumbered and Chat Noir was able to get the purse from Princess Justice. Chat Noir feared that Princess Justice was a new form of Misfortune as she continues to comment towards his comebacks.

"I wanted to be this way. I wanted to go with Hawkmoth."

But he was released that it wasn't the case as soon as he removed the purse off of her, Princess Justice powers diminish as she transformed into the dark Marinette. Chat Noir ripped the purse to reverse and destroy Princess Justice's powers. Carapace and King Monkey were released out of the sword and the Akuma appeared from the destroyed purse.

Marinette gave a slight chuckle as she looked at the Akuma flying up as she was on the floor. Proud that the evil work is not done and Chat Noir will have to ask for her help. However, the grin vanished as she heard Chat Noir cried out, "Cataclysm!"

He caught the Akuma butterfly turn into ashes in his grip. When he opened his fist he let the ashes float away, "No more evil-doing for you little Akuma..." He sighed in disappointment as he wished he could have had another choice.

Marinette was shocked at what Chat Noir did before her eyes. As well, like the rest of the Miraculous team as they looked at him in shock like the day she gains the powers to fight off Stoneheart. They were frightened of his course of action.

"Are you ok, civilian?" Chat Noir sighed in disappointment as he looked at her knowing that she did this on purpose.

Marinette gave him a puzzled expression at why he was speaking her like this until she realized that he or Alix hasn't told the Miraculous team about her being Ladybug or Misfortune. A Chesire grin appeared in her face as she wanted to play along, "Yeah, I don't know what happened. I guess I let the emotions get the worst of me. I'm so sorry."

"Mar..." Viperion stated as he approached her to help her up, "I mean, May I escort you home? You must of had a hard day."

"Uh," Chat Noir tried to interrupt but Marinette replied first.

"That would be great Viperion," Marinette smiled as if it was her old self which stunned Chat Noir for a moment, "Thank you for saving the day heroes," Marinette said in a slightly angry tone that only Chat Noir and Bunnix can tell before she left in Viperion arms.

"Well that went well," Bunnix says as she approached t beside Chat Noir as he stared off to the direction where Marienntte and Viperion disappeared to.

"I don't understand," Chat Noir sighed as he was confused with thoughts of what was happening.

"She was keeping her word," Bunnix stated.

"What?" Chat Noir asked as he turned to face her.

"Misfortune promise to not do it her way. But if she gets akumatized by Hawkmoth then well it is his way," Bunnix concluded even though she not sure if her answer is valid.

"But what is she trying to gain?" Chat Noir growled.

"That's the question right," Bunnix commented nodding in frustration.

"It doesn't matter," Chat Noir commented, "We can't let her succeed Bunnix. Misfortune is still in control."

"But what about the Akuma you destroyed so tragedy," Bunnix commented.

Chat Noir's ears flopped, "It wasn't Misfortune's Akuma, it was Princess Justice. The Akuma is still in Marinette."

Bunnix nodded as they look at the team that remains which was just Queen Bee, "What is going on? What happened to Mister Bug's miraculous?" she demanded.

Chat Noir wanted to tell her the half-truth, "Hawkmoth took it."

"What? How?" Queen Bee began asking multiple questions.

"Does it matter! It's gone like the moth and peacock miraculous," Chat Noir explains, "I don't know what the future holds now. I know I failed but right now we have a greater threat with Hawkmoth able to cause more harm to get my miraculous. So instead of interrogating me just leave me alone." Chat Noir then used his staff to extend away bfore Bunnix or Queen Bee can comment.

That evening Chat Noir went to find Marinette in her home.

"I was wondering when you would make yourself present here?" Marinette stated as she leaned on the railings of the balcony.

"What game are you playing Misfortune?" Chat Noir demanded.

"Believe me I know, I've sunk pretty low kitty." Marinette chuckled as she was not sorry for what happened as Tikki look at him with a sadden expression as she sat on her shoulder, "But whatever I've done..."

"Is not right. You hurted people today," Chat Noir argues as he stood behind her to block her from retreating anywhere.

"Quiet!I'm the bad guy, that's fine," Marinette states as she turn to look back at him with her purple, red eyes and string appearing behind her back, "It's no fault of mine."

"Why are you letting Hawkmoth take control?" Chat Noir asked, "Now without you the city will be destroyed. Why can't you give up what ever your doing,to be the hero your suppose to be. Soon this will be more than just defeating Hawkmoth!"

His words struck a nerve in her as she looked at him. Memories of them being parthners for 2 years now but with the same result of never defeating Hawkmoth, she then looks at him to just see the image Chat Blanc, "I can't go back."

"Why?" Chat says louder in anger.

"You wouldn't understand," she sighs as she calm her emotions.

"What wouldn't I understand!"

"Its doesn't matter. Sometimes bad things happens," Marinette explains before being cut off.

"Mari.."

She continued,"And their nothing you can do about it! Sorry but I have to do this!"

"What happened to you? Your not the person I fell in love with," Chat Noir admitted before he even realized what he said.

It stunned Marinette as she stared at him before her brows forrow, "Your right I'm not. Now are you statsify?"

"No just disappointed," Chat Noir growls

"Aww at least now your realizing she's gone," Marinette chuckles evily.

"I'm never going to give up on her," Chat Noir stated.

"Never is a long time, dear boy, but it could also be tomorrow." With that said she approached him as he stood back with his hand on his staff, "What's wrong Adrien? Afraid of the shadows that go bump in the night?" said Marinette who was now inches from him face making her extremely nervous as all she could do was stare into her eyes.

"No of...of course not," said Chat Noir who didn't know why she was having a difficult time in front of Marinette like this.

Eyeing his nervous expression, she ran her hand through her hair, sighing. "I'm not going to hurt you," she promised as she stepped back.

Chat Noir frowns in disbelief, "You, look like you wanted too."

Flashing him what seemed to be a charming smile, she swore, "I could never hurt you. Even if he wants me too."

"He?" he growls.

"The one who blessed me with the life of being the hero I need to be!" Marinette admitted, "but what can you do? Nothing really. Besides staying out of my way," she chuckled, then tensed and quickly added, "...not that you have a reason to."

"You're not making a very good case for yourself," Chat Noir said.

"Hmm," She says with cross arms, "Then why haven't you told them who I am kitty?"

Chat Noir was finished with the conversation as he went to jump off the balcony. Marinette just returned back to lean on the balcony to watch Chat Noir disappear into the city, "If only he knew that I'm doing this for him."

"So I have to go," Bunnix stated as she met Chat Noir before his conversation with Misfortune.

"What?" Chat Noir asked in confusion as he arrive to the museum from a alert from Bunnix.

"We're fighting a blind battle," Bunnix stated,"We have to know what Ladybug knows."

"Bunnix I can't let you do this," Chat Noir argues as he fear any consequences of her traveling through time to investigate.

"I have to Adrien," Bunnix says she had the Miraculous egg in hand, "We donlt know what the future holds but we need to find out whats going on."

"No, look I can go talk to her," Chat Noir tried to persuade.

"No, your too invested in her to realize what's going on. She's my friend too. Far longer than you," Bunnix argues, "The person we battled today is not Marinette. She did not care if we got hurt. Your just being too stubborn to realize it."

"I know there is still good in her," Chat Noir argues.

"Look no more chances. I can't be here with the Miraculouses not knowing what going to happen. I need to protect them," Bunnix argues as she created a portal.

"Look trust me..."

"No more trust Chat Noir. She's a criminal she's gone," Bunnix stated, "we have to worry about saving our city."
