that's
"I'm getting my bag from class. I'll meet you in EPS," I told Alya, as I started to jog towards class.
"See you there," I heard Alya's voice ring through the empty corridor. Apart from both of us, there was no one in the area. Everyone is in class right now.
Some seconds later, I slowed down and pushed open the handle to class. I walked up to my seat to retrieve my bag, but to my surprise, it wasn't there.
My eyebrows scrunched up.
Wasn't my bag here like a second ago? Or was I dreaming?
Did I leave it somewhere else?
No, I couldn't have.
I may have hit my head a couple of times, but I wouldn't have forgotten the bag.
Maybe, it's on another seat.
But why would it be in another seat --
I don't let myself come up with a rational solution to the question I asked myself. Instead, I walked up and down, searching for the light pink bag.
Unfortunately, I had no luck. Getting down on my knees at where I usually seat with Alya, I look under the seats.
When my gaze snapped upwards, the first thing that I noticed were the pair of shoes that belonged to Adrien.
My eyes scanned his body, and I see my bag resting on the palm of my hand. He was sporting a cocky, but attractive smirk. My sky-blue eyes locked with his emerald-green eyes.
"Looking for this?" He asked, his voice as smooth as velvet.
Something stirred in my stomach. This wasn't good.
"U-Uh, yeah," I quickly rose up and ran a hand through my hair, as I felt my cheeks growing red. "Thanks,"
He held it out for me to reach. "Here you go,"
The stirring feeling in my stomach disappeared. Huh, I guess I'm wrong.
As soon as I reach for it, Adrien moved his hand further away from me. Another frown crossed my face, just as confusion spread through me.
Maybe there's a problem with my eyes.
I should consider getting contacts or something.
I tried again to get my bag, but Adrien did the same thing again.
"Adrien," I warned. "Give me my bag,"
"Or else what?" Adrien's eyebrow arched.
"Or else I'll..." I paused to think of a consequence. "I'll never talk to you again,"
"Really? That's what you're going for?"
"You sort of put me on the spot, so I said the first thing that came to mind,"
"You can't not talk to me, Mari. We both know that,"
"Just...give me my bag. I'll be late for EPS,"
"Your point being?"
"Don't you want me to look good in my dress? I need to work out to achieve that body,"
"That's not necessary,"
"It is,"
"Is not,"
"Is too,"
Letting out a frustrated groan, I lunged at Adrien to get my bag. Adrien, as if anticipating this, swiftly dodged all the attacks.
There was a part where I stumbled over and I fell. Instead of displaying his chivalrous ways by offering a hand to help me up, he just dangled the bag in front of my face, giving me a cocky grin.
"That's what you get for leaving me alone on last Saturday night," Adrien taunted.
Too tired to get up and stand up, I grabbed it, but a second too late as he pulled it up. My eyes glance at the clock. I've been here for about 3 minutes and Adrien still has my bag.

Giving him my best deadly look, I stood and lunged again. I was like the bull and he was like the matador. This time my legs wrapped around his waist. His back hit the wall.
I gasped at first because of the proximity, but when Adrien held as high as he could, I focused at what was at hand.
This time I was successful.
Adrien's muscular arms were stretched up the wall. Mischief danced in his eyes and the stirring in my stomach returned.
Though he was not dressed like him, Adrien was much like Chat Noir at this point. Well, his eyes reminded me of a cat's.
They slowly examined my face, taking in everything. His eyes stayed locked with mine for about a half a minute or so. Then they trailed down to my nose.
Adrien used his finger to slide it down my nose. I shivered. This made his smirk grow. He continued his exploration from nose all the way to my lips.
His finger traced over my bottom lip before he sucked in a harsh breath. His eyes fluttered shut and he leaned in. I did, too.
But my lips just stayed there in the air for a couple of seconds. Confused and mildly annoyed, I opened my eyes to see Adrien still smirking down at me.
"I want to punish you for ditching me," He purred, rubbing his nose against mine.
"I'm sorry," I apologised. "I really am. The cookies were to make up for that,"
"They were delicious," He admitted, stopping for a fraction of a second. He resumed. "But I'm still mad at you,"
"What do you want?" My voice came out in a whisper, for some odd reason.
"I want you to beg me to kiss you," Adrien whispered seductively into my ear.
"I said I was sorry,"
"I don't want your apologies,"
"Then how will you forgive me?"
"Beg me," His nose slid down my neck, causing my nape to rise.
"Adrien--"
I was cut shot when he pressed his lips onto my neck. After dropping about two or three kisses, he spoke. "Just say the magic words,"
"Please and thank you?"
"Wrong," His fingers stroked below my thigh and I mentally cursed myself for my choice of clothing today. I decided that it was high time I spice up my look and that I wear clothes that scream "Summer!"
Now look at where it's gotten me.
Note to self: Never change your appearance. Dress however you like and be proud of it.
Well, that's one way to learn such a cliché lesson. Cliché, but actually helpful to me - especially at this point.
"Okay. Alright, alright," I said, when Adrien started rubbing circles around my waist. "Geez. Just don't do that,"
"You don't like it when I do this?" He rubbed even slower, to tease me. I sent him a glare and slapped his hands, after a couple of seconds of ecstasy.
"No," I frowned, looking away.
"A moment of weakness..." Adrien mused to himself. "That's your weak spot, isn't it?"
Why is he so smart?
"Adrien," I groaned for the umpteenth time today. Okay, I haven't said his name that much, but it seemed like it.
"Adrien," He mocked me, in a high pitched voice. "Don't stop, Adrien. Oh, Adrien. Right there, babe,"
I gave him a twisted look. "You're sick in the head, you know that?"
"You're on my mind, that's why it's sick," Adrien said, shrugging.

"You know what? I'm out of here! Later," I started to unwrap my legs around Adrien's waist. His hands stopped me as they firmly held my legs.
"Where do you think you're going, Lovebug? Can't you see we are in the middle of something?" Adrien tutted. "It is very rude to walk away from a conversation,"
"There wasn't any conversation to begin with,"
"I'm wounded,"
"Want me to add more salt to that wound?"
Adrien glared at me. "I hate you so much,"
"The feeling's always been mutual,"
"Oh, shut up. You love me,"
"What in heaven's name makes you think that?"
"I see how you look at me,"
"And how do I look at you?"
"I can see the love hearts surrounding your eyes,"
"I think you're delusional,"
"Only because of you. You're bad for me, Bugaboo,"
"Shut up and kiss me, you sly dog, so that we can get this over with,"
"Dog? Is that what he think of me? You downgrade me to a dog?"
"Well, if the shoe fits..."
Adrien gave me a scowl. "I'm going to pretend that I didn't hear that,"
"Just like you're pretending that we are dating?"
"Shut up,"
My arms wrapped themselves around his neck. This time I felt a little confident. More than a little actually. I leaned in first, and my lips met his.
Adrien was honestly a funny creature. I thought that he was a cute, shy boy who was nice to everyone and good to teachers.
Now that I have gotten to know him a little bit better, I'm glad that he isn't like that at all.
Don't get me wrong. I like good guys as much as the next girl, but I like him more when he is flirty and cocky. It just has a ring to it, you know?
I'm the typical good girl - I mean, you can classify me as one. Look at my personality. My morals. My character. Although, I do tend to be stubborn at times.
"You gave up easily," Adrien pointed out, about a minute later, in the middle of our very heated moment.
"You're as stronger and stubborn as I am. I knew for a fact that you wouldn't let me go," I replied.
"Aww. You know me so well," He coaxed, before placing a kiss on my lips again. Then my cheek. Then the corner of my lip. Then he held my chin and kissed me longingly. "But do you want to know a secret?"
"Sure," I answered.
"I'm pathetic at seducing girls," Adrien admitted. "I'm a charming person, not a seductive one. I actually was trying to remember some romantic movie that I watched with Chloé one time,"
I wrinkled my nose at the sound of her name. "You just made me lose my interest in kissing you by mentioning Chloé's name,"
"No, I didn't," Adrien gave me a smile that made me smile back at him. It melted my insides...well, metaphorically speaking.
I always wondered why girls would say that. Now I know why. And I can totally understand where they are coming from.
And I have to admit, Adrien is quite the charmer.
"I was actually scared that I couldn't convince you to kiss me," Adrien stroked my thigh again, gently. "But then I remembered who I was, and how no one in the universe can resist my charm. I'm yet to charm the pants off of you, but don't worry. It'll happen soon enough,"
I blushed at the crude remark.
"I like it when you blush," Adrien murmured before he pressed his lips on mine. He began drawing circles around my waist again, and I felt myself falling into bliss and harmony.
My head started to bob back and forth, making Adrien's head rub against the wall. Soft sounds escaped his mouth, occassionally. Then he tilted our heads, as my arm hid both of our faces.
However, it didn't hide the loud scream we heard, coming from my right. Instinctively, we both broke away and snapped our heads to the source, resembling a deer caught in the headlight.
"NO FREAKING WAY!!" My best friend put her hands on her cheeks. "Ship Adrinette has finally sailed!"
"What do you mean?" Adrien asked, raising his eyebrow at the redhead.
"You two were totally making out," Alya accused.
"I have no idea of what you are talking about," I quickly replied.
"Oh really, Marinette," Alya fiercely put her hands on her hips. "Then why are you straddling Adrien?"
"She's all over me, that's why," Adrien said to Alya, before winking at her. "I mean, look at what she's done. She has me pushed up against the wall, her arms are around my neck and her legs are wrapped around my waist. You don't know how relieved I am that you're here, Alya, or else she would have raped me,"
"What? That's not the reason why. Why would I rape Adrien?" I asked, giving Adrien a side glare.
"Hey. You don't have to hide your explicit fantasies that you have about me," He held his arms in surrender.
"I'm no stranger to them, Adrien," Alya gave him a grin. "Trust me, she won't stop raving about you,"
I muttered a profanity in Mandarin, for only Adrien to hear. I know that he understood what I said, because his smirk grew bigger.
The nerve of that cat.
"Or...I was in the middle of strangling him. My arms are wrapped around his neck to place him under headlock. My legs are wrapped around his waist to trap him and I pushed him against the wall to try to knock him out, but you know how big-headed he is," I explained to Alya.
Alya snickered. "Yeah, I do. He's best friends with Nino, so of course I'm aware of that,"
"Who do you believe?" Adrien cut our snickering short.
Alya paused to think for a moment, before replying. "Neither of you,"
"What? Why?" We both asked simultaneously.
"Both of your alibis are legit. I believe that. But both of you failed to explain one little, yet crucial detail," She paused, probably for dramatic effect. "Your lips are both red and swollen,"
I didn't have a comeback for that.
"My alibi covers up for that! She was molesting me. Raping me. Of course she would kiss me in the process," Adrien defended himself.
"The part that you forgot to say was why you didn't push her away. You're obviously stronger than her. Why wouldn't you?" Alya folded her arms, challenging him by raising her eyebrow.
Adrien sighed. "Well, you caught us fair and square, Alya. Now please go away,"
"Not so fast, Romeo," Alya said. "Save it for prom. Or after class. Whatever. I don't care. Juliet and I need to go for class or else we'll be punished to do laps around the field. Juliet, are you coming?"
"Don't call me that," I said, as I released my legs from Adrien's waist. Adjusting my bag over my shoulder, I follow Alya out of the door, when a pair of arms wrap around my waist.
"I'm coming for you," Adrien whispered into my ear, rubbing his fingers against my waist. Immediately, I felt weak, in a good way, though. This was my weak spot, so Adrien can use this to his advantage and do whatever he pleased. "We aren't finished, Juliet,"

"I'm freeing you from evil!"
I watched myself use my yo-yo to capture the flying evil akuma. A few seconds later, my yo-yo released the akuma and my voice saying, "Bye, Bye, little butterfly,"
The video came to a stop.
"Ladybug, Chat Noir," The middle-aged host began. "We are so grateful, for not only being on our show, but also saving Paris from Hawk Moth's evil clutches. The whole of Paris is in debt to you both,"
Fake applause effects played through.
"It's nothing, really. Paris is our home so we should try to make the conditions more bearable to others," Chat Noir answered.
I am rubbish at interviews and anything to do with media, but Chat Noir was a natural at this. He kept the mood playful and shot award-winning smiles to the audience.
I just sat there, with my hands on my lap, awkwardly, with a nervous smile on my face.
"Paris is glad to have superheroes like you. Always here to try to protect us and warn us from any harm," The host gushed.
"Speaking of which, we have a message to send to all Parisians wathing. This is super important," I finally spoke.
I hadn't spoken to anyone but Chat Noir ever since we got here. Sure, a lot of guys walked up to me and wanted pictures and autographs but I would simply smile in response. And utter a few words if necessary.
"What is it, Ladybug?" The host asked, her eyebrows scrunching up. She looked a bit taken aback, probably by the fact that I can communicate to others.
"We all know Hawk Moth, right?"
"Yes. He's your arch rival that is always trying to spread evil around this city,"
"Yes, well, Chat Noir and I put our heads together and came up with a proposal. Didn't we, Chat?" I turn to the cat that is leaning back on the brown leather seat, with one leg resting on top of the others.
"We sure did, my lady," Chat Noir nodded his head.
"Is it the proposal that the viewers have in mind?" The host wiggled her eyebrows, suggestively.
What the heck is she yamming about?
Proposal.
What are proposals?
It's something that a guy would ask a girl if he wanted to take their relationship to the next level by marrying them --
Then it hit me.
"No," I answered, very quickly, hoping the cameras weren't zooming in on my face at that moment. If they did, they would see the red colour tainted on my cheeks. "Our idea was to help Parisians contain their anger,"
"I'm afraid I don't follow," A frown crossed the host's face.
"Let me explain," I took a deep breath. "If anyone is very observant, they would notice that there's a pattern to who Hawk Moth targets. Let's take the example of The Mime. What happened that he got akuma-tised?"
"Well, if I remember correctly, he lost his job," She replied.
"You're correct, Coralie. But what did he do when he lost his job?" I pressed on further.
"He got angry," Coralie answered.
