《Dance With Me: Miraculous Ladybug Breakdance AU》Reflekta

A few days earlier Ms. Bustier had told us to wear our best leotards and tights, because today we would be having a photo shoot to advertise for the studio.
On the day the photographer was scheduled to come, we all wore our best clothes as instructed, and lined up in fifth position croisé. "Now be on your best behavior students," Ms. Bustier said, "This man is a professional photographer, and I will not tolerate any misbehavior."
Just then the photographer burst into the classroom, "HELLOOOOOOOO DANCERS!" He said holding his hands in the air, "I am honored to say I am you photographer today! Now lets see...."
He examined the class, walking up and down the row. He held his fingers in a square, framing each of us in his hands to envision a picture.
"OKAY!" He shouted as he stood up, clapping his hands together, "We're going to do individual pictures first, and then the class photo. When I'm don't with your individual picture line up in height order for the class picture."
He picked out students one by one, to take their individual photos.
While we were waiting to get our pictures taken, I noticed that Juleka and Rose were sitting in the corner, Juleka with her head in her knees and Rose patting her back soothingly.
I walked over and sat down next to them. "Juleka, what's wrong?" I asked.
"I'm not going to be in any of the pictures." Juleka responded.
"What do you mean? Everyone is getting an individual picture, and there's the class photo too!"
"You don't get it Marinette," Juleka said, lifted her head up, "Ever since I was little, every time someone tries to take a photo of me, something goes wrong. It's a curse."
I frowned. Rose looked down at Juleka with eyes filled with sorrow.
"I swear Juleka, I will make sure you are seen in these pictures!"
Juleka looked up and smiled slightly, moving her bangs out of her eyes. Rose looked at me thankfully.
Then the photographer called me over to get my photo taken. I smiled back at the two of them and then ran over to the photographer.
-----
"Okay, that's everyone!" The photographer said, "Line up for the group photo!"
Everyone started to line up, but I had been watching, and the photographer had forgotten about Juleka. She stood in the corner, head down.
I raised my hand, "Um, Mr? You forgot to take Juleka's photo."
The photographer looked across to room and saw Juleka in the corner, "Oh! I'm so sorry!" He clicked with his camera, "Lets get your pictures...."
Juleka started to smile.
"Oh." The photographer said.
Her smiled faded.
"I only have room for one more picture on this SD card..." He searched his pockets, "And I don't have an extra." He looked up at her, "I'm sorry darling, we'll have to go straight to the class photo. But don't worry, there's only going to be one or two individual pictures in the advertisement anyway." He turned his attention back to the class, "EVERYONE LINE UP IN HEIGHT ORDER!"
Juleka sighed and walked over to the tall end of the line. As she passed me she said, "It's okay Marinette, you tried."
When we were all lined up in height order the photographer took the shortest of us (including me) to sit on our knees in the front row.
"HA!" Chloé said, "Look at them! They're so short, it's like they're babies!"

I frowned in her direction.
Then he had the bench moved so it was a third row behind us. He had the tall kids (Ivan, Adrien, Juleka, etc.) stand in between the bench and the front row. Then he had the medium kids (Chloé, Sabrina, etc.) stand in the back, on top of the bench.
"There you go Juleka!" I said, "You're right in the middle row, there's no way anyone could miss you now!"
Juleka smiled slightly.
"OKAY OKAY EVERYONE SMILE!" The photographer said.
"UM, EXCUSE ME?!" Chloé shouted.
I rolled my eyes. Chloé was going to ruin this wasn't she.
"This is all wrong!" Chloé continued, "I'm not standing next to Adrien! I HAVE to stand next to Adrien!"
"Listen kid," The photographer said, "I don't have time to deal with kids like you. Now hush and let me take the picture."
Chloé gasped, "Do you know who my father is?!"
"Is he a photographer? Because otherwise, I do not care." The photographer put his camera in ready position, "I'M TAKING THE PHOTO IN ONE... TWO..."
We all smiled, including Juleka, who moved her purple bangs out of her face so we could see both of her eyes.
"GAH." The photographer said, exasperated, "My camera's out of battery. I'll need to get a new one. EVERYONE TAKE FIVE!" He left the classroom and headed down the hall.
Juleka sighed. She scooted her way out of the row and asked Ms. Bustier if she could go to the restroom. The teacher gave her permission and she ran out of the classroom.
Chloé whispered something to Sabrina and Sabrina said she need to go too. The teacher gave her permission, and then she left.
I hoped Juleka was okay.
-----
Juleka sat in the bathroom with her head in her knees. She had hoped Marinette could break this photo curse of hers, but now her hope was shattered. She was invisible. She always would be.
She heard the door shift.
She stood up and tried to open the door, but something was blocking it.
Sabrina had placed a chair in front of the door, on Chloé's orders.
Juleka banged on the door, "Hey! Let me out!" she screamed.
There was no point.
She wouldn't be in this photo.
No one would remember her.
She slid back down, back against the wall.
-----
The photographer came back, waving a new battery in his hands, "AND WE'RE BACK IN BUSINESS!" He ran over to the camera and started to replace the new battery.
Chloé nodded to Sabrina as she ran back into the cameras view. Chloé jumped off the branch and into the middle row, right next to Adrien. He looked disgusted.
I frowned, "That's Juleka's spot."
"I'm sorry who?" Chloé said with a smirk, "Whoever you're talking about, she's not here now."
I glared at her. I raised my hand, "Mr. Photographer? You can't take the picture yet!"
The photographer rolled his eyes, "What now?! I finally have the battery and now another brat is interupt-"
"Juleka's not back yet."
"Who?"
I sighed, "You know, tall, purple streaks in black hair, pale?"
"I'm sorry but I have to get this picture done now."
"But-"
"1,2,3!"
"Wait!"
He took the picture.
-----
Juleka was sitting in the bathroom when she heard rustle outside the door. She stood up and tried to open the door again, and this time she could. She opened it wide, happy to be out of the small space, when she looked down and saw an envelope of the floor in front of her. She picked it up, it was addressed to her. She looked around to see who had dropped it, but the only person she saw was a man in a suit, her back facing her, walking down the hallway towards the exit.

She looked back down at the envelope... and opened it. It read...
"Dear Refleckta,
I understand you. You think no one notices you. That no one knows who you are. But if you listen to me, everyone will only see the mark you've left. All you have to do is get the supplies I've left you in the back of the storage closet, and you can be a new person at club miraculous. All I ask in return is that you discover the identities of Ladybug and Chat Noir, the champions.
~Hawkmoth"
"Everyone remember me after this." Juleka said. She ran towards the storage closet.
-----
"Alright students, you're dismissed early today!" Ms. Bustier said once the photo was taken, "Have a nice day!"
I walked over to my bag and dug to the bottom, where I kept my pager and costume for the club. I wanted to check my pager to see if there were any challenges at the club.
Rose tapped my shoulder. I turned around, she was bouncing on her toes, looking around nervously. "Marinette, have you seen Juleka? I can't find her anywhere!"
Behind my back, I felt the pager buzz. The signal for the challenge.
I wanted to tell her where I thought Juleka was, but I couldn't without revealing myself...
I sighed. "I'm sorry Rose, I don't know."
Rose looked down at the ground, disappointed, "Oh... It's... That's okay..." she backed up, "Thanks for trying to help Marinette...." And she ran off.
I sighed. I pulled the pager out from behind my back, it flashed the word, 'CHALLENGE' at me. I grabbed my bag and walked towards the bathroom to change.
-----
Chat Noir ran down the stairs to the club. He looked around and saw that his new challenger was already dancing to entertain the crowd while they waited for him and Ladybug. But the crowd did not look entertained.
His challenger was holding cans of pink glittery spray paint, spinning and cartwheeling around and spraying the crowds faces and outfits.
Chat pushed his way through the crowd, "HEY!" He said, "STOP THAT! YOU CAN'T-"
Then his challenger sprayed her in the face and up and down his costume.
"YOU CAN'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO!" His challenger said, "I AM REFLEKTA! AND NOW YOU WILL REMEMBER ME." Reflekta backed up, "Well, I guess I can't reveal your identity now that your covered in spray paint... But I don't care! Hawkmoth will thank me when I reveal Ladybug's identity!"
Chat Noir glared at her, "I'll never let that happen!"
That's when Ladybug ran into the club.
-----
I ran down the stairs and pushed my way through the crowd. As I looked around I saw that almost everyone had been covered in pink glittery paint.
Including... Chat Noir.
I made my way onto the dance floor, holding my hand over my mouth so he couldn't see me laughing. "C-Chat? Is that... What happened to your costume?" I said through a giggle.
Chat sighed, "Don't laugh My Lady!"
I tried to stop, "Okay okay. I'm done. I'll stop... HA HA HA HA HA!"
Chat started to laugh too, "I love hearing you laugh, even if it's at me." He took my hand and have it a small kiss.
I laughed and pulled my hand away, "Hey, stop that, I don't want to get pink paint on me!"
Chat laughed and rolled his eyes.
"OKAY IT'S TIME FOR A BATTLE! TODAY IT'S LADYBUG AND CHAT NOIR VERSUS THE CHALLENGER, REFLEKTA!" DJ N said.
He pressed a button and the music started.
I took a good look at Reflekta as she started to dance. The lights of the club made her look extremely pale, especially with the hot pink face paint that covered her face. She had a matching pink crop top and skirt with white highlights. She also had pink gloves with a purple circle on it. her hair was what I recognized. It was black and long with a purple streak. I had expected this, it was Juleka.
Juleka, or Reflekta, stepped in then out, then repeated, both times spraying her paint at the audience. Then she did a kick-step-touch into a top rock. She did a toe spin around then a fan kick. Straight out of that she did an aerial towards us and when she landed she tried to spray me with paint, but Chat jumped in front of me.
"Nice try." He said, "Now it's our turn."
Chat ran back to his spot and we nodded to each other.
The music changed and a beat started.
5...6...7...8! I thought.
In perfect sinc, Chat and I began the combo. We lifted our shoulders up and down as we slid to each side and jumped. Then we stepped back four times, me pointing at Reflekta in a challenging way, and Chat running his hands through his hair. Next we did a snake move with our torsos, then straightened up and did a grapevine, followed by a jump out to second position and back in, with our hands brushing off our shoulders.
The crowd went wild.
"IT'S PRETTY OBVIOUS," DJ N said, "OUR WINNERS AND REMAINING CHAMPIONS ARE LADYBUG AND CHAT NOIR!"
The crowd chanted our names.
I smiled at Chat and gave a small salute, then I ran out of the club.
I had a job to do.
-----
I changed as fast as I could and then ran out of the studio.
Luckily everyone was still here, waiting for their parents to pick them up, but the photographer had left.
I stood in front of the crowd, "HEY GUYS!" I said, to get everyone's attention, "You know how we took pictures today? We need to take a new one!"
"Why?" Chloé said with a hair flip, "The photographer just left, and the photo he took was great. I was right next to Adrien."
"Okay whatever Chloé," I said, ignoring her, "Juleka wasn't in it!"
Just as I mentioned her, Juleka came out of the studio, changed back into her normal clothes and looking defeated. She looked up at the mention of her name.
"How could we even take a new photo?" Someone in the crowd asked, "The photographer just left!"
"Excellent question!" I said, "I already asked the person in charge of advertising, we can submit our own photos! We can go to the park and take new ones, with Juleka in them!"
"That sounds like a great idea Marinette!" Adrien said as he walked out of the studio, smiling.
I blushed, "T-Thanks Adrien!" I stuttered.
The crowd started to nod in agreement.
"Well, uh, come on! Let's go to the park and we can take new photos!" I said.
-----
We took tons of photos at the park, all staring Juleka. Chloé refused to be in any of them, not like I cared.
The next day the advertisement came out, and tons of the pictures we submitted made it in!
"Thank you so much Marinette!" Rose said, "Juleka's photo curse is broken!"
"Thanks Marinette." Juleka said with a smile.
I smiled back, "No problem!"
They walked off and I turned back to my bag, when I felt someone touch my shoulder.
I turned back around.
Adrien.
"Uh-um... Hi! Hi Adrien!"
"Hi Marinette." He said with a dazzling smile, "I just wanted to tell you, you really made Juleka happy. You're a really good person."
"T-Thanks Adrien!"
Adrien smiled and waved as he walked off.
Alya walked over and smiled at me with one eyebrow raised.
I screamed into my hands excitedly.
That was a great day.

The Venatori. Having lived a life of discipline and service, former soldier Caiden Voros finds something even worse than the wars of humans: the monsters that hunt them. Harboring a secret of his own and in a constant struggle to find answers while maintaining his sanity, however, Caiden begins to ask the age-old question... Who is truly worse, the monsters or the Men? Wulfgard: The Hunt Never Ends is an episodic collection of stories, each of which stand on its own, but they also build upon each other in a consecutive order, bridging a gap between a novel and short story collection. These stories follow monster hunter Caiden Voros and his partner Gwen Vergil as they embark on tales of mystery, horror, and adventure to track down monsters - the living dead, beast-men, shape-shifters, spirits, and many more - that would do harm to innocent lives and, by whatever means necessary, put a stop to their terrors. As an author, I'd like to interact with my community and get ideas and what I can improve on. I'm not perfect and don't expect a masterpiece. I may have a bit of experience writing as a hobby, I make mistakes and my style is a bit rough around the edges. I hope you stick around and watch me build this story up. I don't have a predetermined schedule and the releases will be slow. Since I got college, my schedule is most likely 1-2 chapters a month but that shouldn't be that bad since I get some time to think about what I can write in the story. Again, my apologies for that. I hope I have your support moving forward and that you enjoy the characters and their journies.
