Cat Noir's heart raced. He knew exactly what Ladybug was about to ask him, he just hoped he was wrong. Her eyes look so pretty during the sunset. I wish I could stare at her forever. He got distracted for a moment, but was then reminded of what was going on when Ladybug spoke.

"Cat Noir, are you Adrien?" Ladybug said while looking Cat Noir deep into his green eyes. Cat Noir froze as he thought about what he should do. Maybe she will fall in love with me if she knows I'm Adrien, I am a model after all. No. That's not the right way to get her to fall in love with me. She has to love me for my true self, and I'm my true self as Cat Noir. But I want her to love me so bad! What if she never loves me for my true self? No, no, no!

"Cat Noir? Cat Noir!" Ladybug interrupted Cat Noir's thoughts.

"No! Why would you think that M'Lady?" Relieved, Cat Noir hated that he was lying, but knew it was the right thing to do, for himself and the sake of Paris. It was bad enough already with him knowing who Ladybug was.

"I-I just didn't know how you would find out Gabriel Agreste was Hawkmoth if you weren't Adrien."

"Oh, I just saw an online report comparing their appearance and they looked shockingly similar, so I decided to check it out!"

"Oh ok, I'm sorry. You can't let the fact that you know who I am change anything between us, ok?"

"Of course not. I couldn't be happier with who you are under that mask M'lady, it's great to know you're a good person in real life too!"

"Ok well we have to make a plan to take down Gabriel Agreste, do you have anything in mind?" Ladybug asked Cat Noir, adjusting her body towards him as this was a very serious conversation, as not they were in a serious situation.

"I say we attack as soon as possible, he could move his location!"

"True, but we need to wait for a good time. If we don't have a plan we don't stand a chance. I say we wait for the next akuma attack so we know where he is, and then distribute miraculous's to people we can trust, and take him down!"

"Great plan M'lady, I have to get out of here unless you want to see me without my kitty costume, I'll call you tomorrow!"

Cat Noir quickly jumped down below to an alley and immediately talked to Plagg; "Plagg, we have a lot of issues! My father is Hawkmoth and knows Ladybug's identity and so do I! This is gonna make it a whole lot harder to get her to fall for me when I have to deal with all this!"

"Hey look on the bright side of things!" Plagg said enthusiastically. "Now you have a whole extra identity to make Marinette fall in love with! Whatever girls are too complicated cheese is my only love."

"Plagg you're right! I could use both of my identities, Marinette has to fall for one of them, right? In real life I'll try to make her fall for Adrien, and as superheroes I can make her fall for Cat Noir!"

"Adrien, I hate to say it, but your personality is a lot different as Adrien! I give you a confidence no one else can replicate."

"Fine, I'll just try to be myself more in real life, and use my confidence that I only have as Cat Noir. I've always expressed myself as Cat Noir, why can't I do it as Adrien too?"

"I always thought you were more of a Cat Noir than an Adrien anyways. Do you really expect me to eat this disgusting cheddar cheese?"

"Sorry, I ran out of camembert. I'll get you some more once we get home. HOME! My dad is at home! My dad is Hawkmoth! How am I going to act?"

"Adrien, your father ignores you too much for him to notice that anything's going on. Ignore him and you'll get the same thing back!"

"Ok Plagg I'll try my best." Adrien said this contently, but inside his heart was racing. It was hard enough knowing his father was his enemy, but now he had to face him, knowing the evil mask his father wears? He felt as if he was walking into a sinking ship, where the outcome of his entire life decided on his actions. If he did something wrong, he fell into the rough ocean, or even worse, he got trapped. For Adrien, if he made one little mistake, like looking at his father weird, or giving the slightest hint of who he is, he is doomed. He approached the gate. Deep breath in, deep breath out. Adrien tried to remain as calm as possible as the walked through the gates and through the front door. He jumped when he saw his father sitting at the living room table.

"Where have you been, Adrien"

It felt as if Adrien's heart had stopped. "I-I w-was looking for Marinette with Alya and Nino, it was a school related search party." Adrien exhaled, as if it felt he had been holding his breath for hours.

"Nino just came by looking for you, he said you haven't been responding to any of their calls or texts. Where were you Adrien?"

Adrien felt his heart drop. What was he gonna say now. Confidence, confidence. Adrien could feel those words in his bones before what he said next. "Fine father, I was on a date with Kagami, I didn't want to tell you because I was embarrassed. I hope you understand."

"I understand Adrien, but you are grounded, and you knew this. Therefore you are no longer grounded for one week, but for one month. I want you to trust me Adrien, and don't go behind my back doing things I wouldn't prohibit." Gabriel said while staring into Adrien's eyes who were avoiding his.

"Thank you for understanding father." Adrien said somberly, while turning around and walking up the stairs. He could feel his father's lurking stare, but didn't want to look at him anymore than he had to. As Adrien entered his room, he locked his door, as simply living with his father made him feel uneasy. He said to Plagg, "Huh, trust. What does he know about trust." After getting Plagg some camembert, Adrien lied down on his bed, wanting to sleep, but laid wide awake recalling the day he had just had. Why would he do this? My father has neglected me my whole life, but never in a million years would I think he would do this. What else is he hiding from me? My mother wouldn't have wanted this. Adrien started to silently cry into his pillow until he fell asleep.

"Give me your miraculous Cat Noir, or should I say, Adrien!"

"No father, why are you doing this to me? Wait, how do you know who I am?" Cat Noir's hands were shaking, he could barely hold his stick. Hawkmoth struck Cat Noir with his cane knocking Chat to the ground, and then evilising every akuma around him. They started to swarm him, and he begged his father to set him free. "Father, please! Would Mom have wanted this?" The akumas swarmed Chat till he couldn't see or hear anything, and he screamed louder then he ever has. "FATHERRRRR!"

Adrien swiftly sat up in his bed, screaming and panting, and said under his breathe, "Father, father, why, why?" Relieved it was a dream, Adrien laid back down, but he knew he would not be getting anymore sleep, not in the same house as Hawkmoth. Instead, Adrien focused his mind on better things, like how he would make Marinette fall in love with him tomorrow. The thought of that made him feel better. The sun started to rise and Adrien got dressed. He walked out of his room to leave for school and saw his father with a suitcase at the front door. The sight of him made Adrien feel uncomfortable. "Where are you going, Father?" Adrien asked hesitantly.

"London. I have been offered a business deal there to design for a high end brand. I am going to look for a new home for us. I will be back by tonight to help us pack. We should be in London by this weekend if all goes to plan."
