“How can you be sure I am real?”

The words played on Lan Jingyi’s mind again and again. “’real’…” he muttered as he slowly walked down the wooden path before him. After a while and he stopped. He turned and watched as a leaf fell from a tree after the wind blew, his forehead ribbon – its ends fluttering, floating by the wind. “Why did he tell me that… when I’m – “ he muttered as he opened his palm. There lies a pale blue flower. Simple, but its petals are vibrant colors. However, one can see that the flower is wilting despite the vibrant pale blue petals. “ – it’s me who should ask him…” he said as he watched the empty around him. All is there, including him, but except his fellow brothers and the Lan clan members.

“Was it my fantasy, or yours… Sizhui?” were words he wanted to ask back, but he didn’t dare to. And so… along with his courage, his words were swept away by the winds – along with the fantasy.

Lan Sizhui watched as Lan Jingyi disappeared after he turned in the hallway. He sighed as he lowered his head. From that day he was taken in by Lan Wangji, he felt everything is just a dream. The family he once lost, now he has. Everything he lost, he now has. All thanks to his foster father Lan Wangji. He even gained a friend… who he now developed feelings to. And… he knew Jingyi feels something towards him, too.

“How can you be sure I am real?”

“Jingyi…” he called under his breath. “I don’t have anything to give you… everything I have now was given to me. I – “ he said as he choked up, tears welling up in his eyes. Even his identity was given to him. “ – I’m as fake as I can be…” he said as he closed his eyes, a tear ran down his cheek.

This fantasy… everything is fake – except you that is real –

“Ah Yi…”

A/N: geez… I did the extra then the main chaps XDXDXD I blanked out in the beginning of the second chap and then stopped writing for months (?) because I’ve been busy.
