his sin ;

You barely get to absorb all the information before Taehyung continues.

Jimin storms into the throne room, shoes clacking onto the ground, which was silenced the moment he had stepped onto the red carpet. There she was, the vicious woman who had ruined his life.

"Oh! Jimin baby! Where has my son been? Gosh, you look so thin! Haven't you been eating well? Oh lord, you need to eat and drink! I'd be humiliated if you were sent back from a blind date because you're too 'skinny and not masculine'. Speaking of blind dat-"

Jimin silenced his mother with the loud thud of his sword colliding onto the ground. The Queen flinches back, mouth closed shut from the rambles that she had been letting out. Sighing, she started to speak again. "Is this about the vixen? Is that why your face is as dark as a raven? I told you, my son. I'll bury her somewhere and allow her family to hold a fune-"

"SHUT UP!"

He shrieks, throwing his sword in her direction. The covered metal flings towards her, missing her by an inch. It flies across her right cheek towards the wall behind her. "Vixen?" the male laughs, walking up to the Queen. "From now on, I will no longer be your son. You will have no heir to your throne, Your Highness." he hissed, clenching his teeth, locking his jaw as he stood face-to-face with the Queen.

"You knew, didn't you. That was why you ordered me to kill her, right? God, I never knew you'd stoop so low." Jimin lets out another laugh, one full of bitterness and pain. "Knew what?" the Queen breathes out, terrified. She did not know the man that stood beside her. Jimin rarely gets angry at anyone, his level of patience was higher than the sky. What's more was that in his mother's eyes, he had been that sweet little angel that no one should ever have.

"She was pregnant. She, no. We, had a child together. And I killed it." he growls darkly. And with that, he storms out. Rushing, Jimin packs his clothes into a sack, taking only important objects. Grunting softly, he made his way out of the room, ditching the rest of his belongings. A glint of a slivery object shines into his eyes, causing him to stop midway to look at it.

As he turns, he noticed the clean silver necklace that Taehyung had placed in his hands the other night. Taehyung commanded him to settle things with his mother, then come visit him. The shoes and dresses that he had painted over with her were neatly folded. Gulping harshly, Jimin contemplated over if he should or should not take it with him. Clenching his fists, his feet patted the carpeted floor repeatedly.

Groaning inwardly, he snatches the necklace off the desk, making a run for the horse that awaited him.

"What are you doing?"

In a short span of ten minutes, Jimin arrives at Taehyung's house, greeted by his parents. Or, parent. Only Taehyung's father had come out, barely sparing Jimin a glance. He mumbled a short hi and left. The door shut softly after him as he entered his bedroom. Muffled sobs could be heard from within, and Jimin could help but let his heart clench.

No, he wasn't going to cry.

He was going to take revenge.

"Tae?" he calls out, trudging into the boy's once shared room with his sister. He used to joke about having a room all to himself. He used to joke about how Jimin could kidnap her, allowing him to have his own freedom in his own bedroom. Now reality has hit him like a truck.

"Taehyung." said male corrects, voice hoarse and deep. Clearing his throat, Jimin pulls open the door. He couldn't help but feel numb and unwelcoming. After all, he had murdered one of their family members. "Um, Taehyung. So, what are we doing?"

Taehyung had a few pouches in front of him. He stared at them all, his lips tugging into a small smile. "Would you like to try?" he looks up, staring heavily at Jimin. Jimin had to admit. He has never seen Taehyung like this before. Fear crept in his heart as Taehyung's grin transformed into a wide smile, one stretching throughout his face. Shakily, Jimin sits on the floor opposite of Taehyung.

"It's poison."

Jimin flinches at his stone-cold voice, pink tinting his cheeks as he realised how ridiculous he must've looked. Taehyung didn't laugh, however.

Taking in a deep breath, the male before him regained his posture - straight and serious. "You don't have to join me, Park. I can do it all alone." Taehyung announces, an eyebrow arched as he stared into Jimin's eyes. A dark, mysterious swirl danced in his friend's eyes, his aura more dangerous than ever. Gripping the necklace in his pocket, Jimin insisted. "I'll do it with you."

"Hey, ma'am."

"Y-Your Highness! You've been missing for a week! Where have you gone to? Gosh, your mother has not been eating or drinking well. Have you come to visit her?"

The maid Jimin had called out for reminded him of his mother. Someone who loved to blabber. "I have to ask for a favour. Will you please give this to her? It's her favourite food. Don't tell her that it was from me, though. Otherwise, she might not accept it. I'll be back soon, just make sure only she eats it, okay?" Jimin held back the smirk that was threatening to pounce on his face, handing the packet of biscuits to the maid.

Then, he left. Since he was still considered the Young Prince of the country, he was allowed access to everywhere. Taehyung had injected a bunch of poison-filled liquid into the biscuits earlier, then handing them over to Jimin. He had remembered. That was the Queen's favourite snack of all time - a snack she could never resist, no matter the situation.

It was hard and crispy on the outside, however, once you bite into it, a sweet warm syrup would melt into your mouth. The perfect treat. Taehyung was waiting for the male by the gates, hands folded together, back leaning onto the wall. He had a thin strand of wheat in his mouth, playing with it. Taehyung's leg was bent, knee facing the streets as his shoe stuck to the wall.

Unconsciously, a smile formed on Jimin's lips as he reminisced how y/n would threaten to beat the shit out of him if he did not stop his habit of plucking wheat from their neighbour's garden just to suck on it. Taehyung turns his head, eyes linking with the male.

Shaking his head lightly, Jimin clears his throat, and mind, before appearing before Taehyung.

"Done?"

Jimin gave the male a curt nod, and the both of them set home.

-

"GET THEM!"

Their horses galloped on the grass, mud splattering everywhere. Taehyung was leading as his horse was a tad stronger than Jimin's. Fire had been lit on wooden sticks, pitchforks had been sold. The word of the Queen's death had spread like wildfire, and somehow, Jimin had been the prime suspect due to his sudden visit on the day she died.

Jimin regretted nothing, though. A smirk pulled at his lips as he rode through the forest, ignoring the growls from the indecent human beings behind him. No one was blind to the Queen's unfair executions and commands. Everyone worshiped her,

Taehyung let's out a loud howl, flinging his arms mid-air. Jimin could tell Taehyung was enjoying this as much as he was. The last time they had raced on their horses was when y/n was alive. She'd be ridding behind him, hands hoisted around his waist. God, he missed her.

Right after they had poisoned the queen, they had gone bonkers. From one bar to another, from one time to two. Knowing that it wouldn't be long before they got caught, the two lived a risky and crazy life, in three days.

They had done everything on bucket list. Ranging from fishing to riding horses in the middle of the night. The two rode towards mountains, climbed and fell, injuring themselves from the harsh rocks.

Bang!

From afar, the vibrations from the gunshot could be felt rumbling through the ground. Jimin's horse neighs, before thudding onto the ground, pulling Jimin along. Taehyung came to an abrupt stop, sliding off his horse. "No, no, no. Jimin, don't. don't do this to me. I can't lose you both." he grunts, pulling Jimin's body onto his chest.

"You're not hurt, right?" denial filled his tone, sniffles reverberating in the air. They knew, this would happen. They knew, yet they couldn't, they wouldn't, accept it.

There was one last thing on her bucket list that they had failed to accomplish.

With a weak smile, Jimin grunts as he pushes Taehyung away. "Run." Taehyung's partner in crime's eyes flutters shut, his smile forming into a thin line. His coloured face had paled.

And the last thing they had to accomplish on his sister's bucket list was to take a group photo in the rain.

Bang.
