king queen bullshit ;

"Yes, Mother?" Jimin impatiently taps his feet on the red carpet. He wanted to get back to his love. He wanted to smother her with kisses, hugs, and love. "I think it's time." Groaning, Jimin internally rubbed his temples. As a prince, he should be well mannered, and he should show no signs of defeat, as quoted by the queen herself. "Time for what?" Jimin asks. The answer he dreaded the most slipped out of his mother's lips.

-

"Babe?" Jimin knocks on the door before opening it. His love was on the bed, face stuffed in the teddy bear he had bought her for her birthday last year.

She lets out a muffled hum, rolling on their white sheets. Laughing at her childish behaviour, he made his way towards her. "Do you want to walk around the garden?" he whispers, climbing on top of her. Her chest was dug into the bed, back facing the ceiling.

Jimin pushes his weight onto his beloved, hugging the sides of her arms. "How are we going to go if you were to cling onto me like that?" she chuckles, turning around to face him. "Then should we just cuddle?" he suggests, wriggling his eyebrows. Laughing, she nods and pulls him closer.

"Princess, what would you like to tell me, or do, if today was my last day? If I were going to die soon?"

She shoots up at Jimin's question, eyes wide. "What? You're... not actually going to die, are you? Is there something I don't know? Jimin, tell me, please." she pursed her quivering lips, pain and worry evident in her orbs. "It's just a what-if question. What if I die tomorrow? We'll never know." he laughs caressing her face.

"I'll tell you that I love you. I'll bring you to see the stars, to eat all the food on the street. I'll shower you with love, I'll take care of you. I'll send you to sleep with a soft kiss on your forehead. I'll do anything you want to do. I'll show you how much I truly love you, Jimin. Then I'll die with you." she finishes, smiling sorrowfully as she pushed Jimin to one side of the bed, positioning herself so that she was lying sideways with Jimin in her sight.

Her lover frowns, shaking his head vigorously. Without knowing it, Jimin had tears welled up in his eyes. "Don't die. You have a life to live, you have your siblings." scoffing, the princess turns to look at the ceiling, thoughts spreading her mind like wildfire. Was Jimin in trouble?

"How am I supposed to live without you? How am I going to live every sicking day, knowing the love of my life is dead?" she replies, pained to even think about it. Where did this question come from? In a split second, Jimin was on top of her, sobbing lightly into the crook of her neck.

"Jimin? Are you oka-"

"I'm sorry, I really am. I love you so much. I'm sorry," he cries, "Please forgive me. I don't want to do it either."

Confused, the princess brought his face up, locking eyes with the male. "Jimin, what's going on? You're scaring me." she frowns, lips tightly pressed together. He shook his head subtly before pressing his lips against hers, whispering yet another sorry.

It's been a few hours since Jimin's sudden outburst. He seemed fine now, but she could feel the nervousness radiating within him. "Eat up," Jimin mouths, cheeks puffed with food. Holding back a laugh, which she failed in doing, she nodded at the male.

Her family and the Park family were sitting by the dinner table. The Park family, which only consisted of Jimin and the Queen, were sitting on the opposite side. "So, I heard that my baby Jimin wants to get married to your daughter," the Queen spoke with a plastic smile plastered on her lips.

Your mother laughs, oblivious to the facade the Queen was putting up. "Yes, your Highness. My daughter told me that Jimin had proposed to her a day ago, which she said yes to," she replies politely with the slightest bow of her head. The Queen shot Jimin a glare, one that she thought would've gone unnoticed.

But she was wrong.

"What's wrong, your Highness? Am I, a peasant in your eyes, not allowed to marry your son? The next King? Are you afraid that your reputation would be tainted because of me?" Jimin's lover snarled, slamming the utensils onto the table. Her mother shouts her name, fury, and fear written all over her face. "Of course not!" the Queen blows up, hands smashing onto the table.

Jimin gulps nervously, desperately shaking his head at her. She chose to ignore it, focusing on his mother. "Your Highness. Drop the act, I beg of you. Did you think that your fake smiles, eye rolls, and gossips would go unnoticed?" she snickers, glaring at the woman in front of her. A mixture of bitterness and angry swirled within her.

"Stop," her brother places his hand above hers. He knew everything. He saw it all. He was the one who spied on the Queen upon hearing your suspicions. She was one who could judge between a good and a bad character. Giving up, she shoved the table lightly before storming out. The princess could hear the Queen from outside, forbidding his son from chasing after her.

However, Jimin refused to follow her orders, running after his lover right after. "Princess? Hey, what's wrong? Why did you burst out like that? I thought you said you were going to hold it in until our marriage," Jimin grabs ahold of her wrist, pulling her to face him. It was dark outside, the twinkling stars were like salt scattered on a black blanket.

"I'm so sick of it," she whispers, digging her face into Jimin's back. Jimin tenses up, but she thought nothing of it. "Do you want to go back to the palace? Mother would still be at your home, so we're safe there." she nods, tugging the hem of his shirt - a habit she had.

"She's pretentious. I don't want any of my family members to get hurt. Heck, I'd rather die than let them suffer," she spoke her mind, something she only did with her love. "Don't say that," he pursed his lips. She looked up, expecting a tiny mischievous grin to be playing on his lips, however, she was met with a serious tight-lipped one.

"The stars are beautiful," she decides to change the subject, reaching out for Jimin's hands. "You're more beautiful," his eyes form the crescents of a moon as he cheesily, smoothly replied to her statement. She tsked. Nevertheless, a small smile had formed on her lips. She was happy, with him.

The two of them stopped at the entrance of the palace, walking around it to visit the garden. "Jimin, I have something important to tell you," the lady musters up her courage, taking a deep breath. "What is it?" he hums, cupping her cheeks to place a peck on his lips. Reconsidering, she decides to leave it for now. "Nothing, let's talk about this tomorrow," she laughs, twirling herself in his arms.

She wore the dress he had decorated for her, the shoes he had painted on. The necklace he had bought hung on her neck. Everything she wore, was owned by him. And she was soon to be rightfully his. "Will you forgive me?" Jimin pulls her into his embrace. "Of course. It doesn't matter what sin you've committed. The Jimin I know always has a reason for his actions." she hums, toying with the hem of his shirt.

"I'm sorry," he whispers.

With a push and a jab, a sharp object pushes into her stomach.

She clutched the object, hurling forward. With teary eyes, she looked up at him. It was as if she was looking at a mirror. He, too, had a pained expression on his face, features crumbled together. Tears had fallen off both their eyes. She falls onto his arms, hand reaching out to stroke his cheek once more.

"I love you, Kim Y/n."

okay, let me clear up some things. i never said that her name was Rose. i said, or typed, that Jimin called her Rose because it was her favourite flower. the dream? the one she was viewing in third person's pov? it's a memory that she started to remember because she was spending a hell lot of time with Jimin, which is why, if you noticed, i wrote about how the lady's back was facing Y/n, which didn't allow you to get a good view of her face.

horrible plot, am i right? i hope you felt something lol, i know it wasn't very well written oof. I'll work harder tho :D. like they say, the learning progress is slow. however, i learnt that it has to be built up slowly. maybe you'll feel something, if you read the book when it's done. because during this so called break while I'm trying to update, you do other things and the feelings for the book vanishes during that point in time.

it's ending soon, with a few plot twists! i can't believe it, haha. my first book. I've been writing a lot, hope you'll support me

also, reincarnation doesn't mean that you have to be a different person, or a have a different name. if you try to match Taehyung's story with this, it may be a little different? but it's the same - the dinner fight, them standing in the garden etc, etc. hope you enjoyed tho, that's the huge plot twist. alssso, remember the times Jimin would push her, as in the present y/n, away when she hugged him? it's because this scenario would play in his mind.
