"Get off me!" she screams, shoving the filthy hands off her body. "What's wrong with your drunk asses?" she yells, body flying backward. She just wanted peace, couldn't she have it? The tears she tried so hard to hold back earlier came falling. Just recently, she had a major argument with her parents. She knew she couldn't lurk around her neighbourhood since everyone knew who she was, which was exactly why she ran farther away.
Unfamiliar with the area, she stumbles into an alley. Soft sobs sounded from her as she squats down, hugging herself softly. What she didn't know was that a few drunkards would visit that area during this specific time. "What's a pretty lady like you doing here?" a slurred voice chuckled, placing a hand on her arm. She jerks away, red, puffy eyes glaring at him.
She was beyond exhausted. She would've run, but she had nothing to lose, except her virginity. No one cared, after all. So she stayed, she tried so hard to ignore those drunk men. But eventually, she gave up. Every time she removed their hands, another pair would grab ahold of her. She wasn't okay. She wanted to leave this kingdom. Her parents couldn't see it, but she could. Queen Park was going to kill them. She was never wrong.
When a hand lands on her butt, she decided that it was enough. She tried to run, but her legs were like jelly, causing her to lose balance. A few of them caught up, snickering at her pathetic form. "Get. Off. Me." she clenches her teeth, trying to push away the men who had gotten on top of her. As she was about to give up, the weight of the drunk strangers was off her.
"What the f-"
"Is this what you do in my kingdom? Try and rape a minor? What are you, uneducated men? Get lost, or you'll face the consequences." the voice was deep, dark, and raspy. Due to the insufficient light, you could barely make out his face. But the men could. As quick as possible, they scurried away, muttering a rushed apology.
"Are you okay?" the same male, who seemed to hold so much power, squat to meet her level. She props herself on her elbows, slowing pulling herself up. The male helps her, gently bringing her into a sitting position. As soon as the moonlight shines on his godly face, she gasps and breaks off his hold.
He was the Queen's son.
The moonlight dances on his face, lighting up his glistening eyes and pinkish lips. "W-what's wrong?" he frowns, voice shaky. "Did it hurt? I'm so, so sorry," he gulps, worry creasing on his forehead. Stunned, all she could do was shake her head. Despite being the queen's son, his vibe was way different. The queen gave her an evil and twisted vibe. Whereas, her son had the vibe of an angel - sweet and kind.

"I'm fine," she grunts softly as she stood up, brushing off the dust on her dress. She had to leave. There was no way, she'd ever want to get into the life of her enemies. Before she could leave, he grabs her wrist, stopping her. Although his grip was soft, tender, she hissed and pulled away.
"You're not okay. Don't lie. No one, even the strongest human, could ever feel okay after something like that happens." and with that, the prince pulls her into his embrace, despite her struggles to squirm out of it. As time passes, she relaxes in his hold, stuffing her face into the crook of his neck. She didn't know how, or when, but the tears flowed out like a river. Soft cries emitted from her, her tears wetting the prince's outfit.
Her hands tighten around the cloth of his shirt, pulling it harshly. He pats her back rhythmically, whispering sweet nothings into her ears.
And that was the start of a twisted love.
...
"What's this?"
"It's a special thing for a special person. Don't open your eyes, keep them shut. If you're peeping, I'll shove these up your ass."
The princess lets out a tiny laugh, securing her hands around her eyes. For a moment, everything goes silent. "Jimin?" she calls out, a hint of fear in her voice. Being unable to see was terrifying. "I'm here," he grunts, and a soft thump follows after.
The urge to open her eyes was stronger this time. "You can open them now," she could hear the smile in Jimin's voice. Slowly, she peeled her hands off her face, staring at the scene before her. Then, her mouth drops onto the ground.
A picnic.
"Did you prepare all this for me?" she squeals, flying into his arms. Hands on her waist, Jimin twirled her around. "No, my mother did. Of course, it's me. Who else would it be?" he mocks, placing a soft peck on her lips. Rolling her eyes at the mention of his mother, she sits on the checkered cloth. "Why? It's almost midnight."
"That's what makes it even more special," Jimin answers, entwining their hands as he sat next to her. He took out fruits and bread. With a grape on his hand, he pulls the girl into his lap. Her head laid on his lap, while her body laid on the mat. With a genuine smile on her lips, she stared into his eyes. The silverish eyes she loved the most. That pair of eyes that resembled the moon. The pair of eyes, that locked with hers on the day he saved her.
Jimin pulls the washed grapes off the stem, pushing it against her lips. It was purple, her favourite type of grapes. She sucks it in, eyes twinkling under the starry night. Giggling softly, she reaches for the bunch of grape, repeating Jimin's movements. "By the way, what are we doing here? Why today?" she askes, curiosity sparked in her eyes. Oh, his curious baby.

"Just watch," he answers, placing the bunch of grape on the floor, hands stationed behind him to hold his body weight. His eyes met the sky, a tiny curve forming on his lips. "The view's beautiful," he smiles, eyes forming crescents. "Yeah," she answers, eyes raking his face. The sound of popcorn popping reverberates in the air, causing her to jolt out of his lap.
"Baby," he laughs, holding her by the shoulder. "Look up."
She does as she's told. Fireworks of many colours popped in the sky. As more and more of them fill the sky, she realised that it was forming something. Squinting, she eyes the words. "H"
More and more words start appearing before her. "A" "P" "P" "Y"
Happy?
She glances at her empty hands, only to realise that the mini pocket-sized clock she brought around with her was in her bedroom. Jimin chuckles, realising that she has found out before the surprise was over. Still, she stares at the sky in awe as the rest of the letters sparkled. They stayed for a solid ten seconds before vanishing. The words "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" left a mark on the sky, causing her to grin.
"God, I love you." she twists her body so that she was straddling his thighs. "I've been so busy, I didn't realise that it was tomorrow or should I say today?" she placed a peck on her lover's lips, heart booming with emotions. Trust Jimin to plan a surprise for these types of events. "You showed me how enticing and wonderful life could be on the streets, where all kinds of food are available on my birthday, so I thought I should strike something off your bucket list." Jimin cups her cheeks, placing his lips on her forehead.
"I love you more."
...
"Tomorrow's our anniversary," Jimin speaks up from the bed. She was in the closet, rummaging through her clothes. The moment he mentioned anniversary, her head collided with the top of the closet. She wanted to smack him, so bad.
"And you ruined it." her lips curve down, sending Jimin a glare. He chortles, rolling his eyes cheekily. "That's exactly why I said it."
"I wanted it to be a surprise! You know how I hate it when you mention a special day before that special day occurs," she whines, pulling out the hanbok she and Jimin had painted together. The one with the white top and pink bottom.
"Well, can't help it, love. I got you three special thi-"
"SHUT UP!" She hollers, throwing her dress at him. As always, she manages to hit his face. That sent Jimin rumbling with laughter. "Y-You-" she paused, finding it hard to find the correct word. He needs to learn how to shut that fat ass mouth of his.
"I, what?" he challenges with a sneaky smirk on her face. Storming in his direction, she lunges onto his body, which was laid sideways as he was ogling her while she chose a dress for tomorrow's occasion. "You imbecile spoiler! You asshole, a big piece of shit, mean weak ass! You tiny dic-"
"It is NOT tiny!" he fights back, face red with anger. Laughing, you cup his cheeks, squishing it with all your might. "My boobs are bigger than your tiny crotch," she jokes, sticking out her tongue. He puffs, scrunching his nose as he turns away from her. "Aw, come on, look at me baby." she cooed, smiling from ear to ear. As he turned to face her, she noticed how his face had turned bright red. And she found out why.
Something hardens below her.
His princess erupts in laughter, rolling on the bed. "Not funny," he whines with a pout on his face. "I didn't know little pumpkin gets aroused when his crotch is called tiny." she mocks, mirth clear in her voice. Before she could catch her breath, something hard and cushion-y met her face.
"Dang you," he cursed, pushing the pillow down on her face. He pressed it down lightly, to not suffocate her too much. "This is murder!" her muffled voice echoed as her hands wiggled around, trying to find Jimin's. The male laughs, engulfing her into a hug after that, the pillow being their barrier.
...
A shoe, a necklace, and a bouquet of flowers.
The princess stares at the objects in Jimin's arms. A pair of white shoes, with a cherry blossom tree painted on the area. The necklace was a ring. An empty ring. It was silver in colour, matching the giver's eyes. There was nothing written on the ring. Lastly, the bouquet of flowers. Roses, to be specific. Her favourite.
"All this, for me?" she questions, voice filled with doubt. "Yeah. And guess what? I went to see a magician. Like, those creepy old ladies who know magic." he laughs at his statement. "for this." he dangles the necklace mid-air. The string of the necklace was black and long.
"Are you crazy? That's not worth your money!" her hand reaches out to punch his chest lightly. "You'll see." he grins in triumph. Twirling the girl around, he unlocks the lock of the necklace, helping her put it on. Once he was done, he pulled her to face him. Handing her the bouquet, he whispers. "Watch this."
His hands inched towards the ring, touching it. And black words start to carve themself onto the ring. Woah. She was shooked. "How much?" she murmurs, touching the metallic object. "A few won. Here, I got one for myself too," he laughs, holding out the replica of hers. With a smile on her face, she helps him put it on.
"Did you paint those shoes?" she questions, staring at it in awe.
"Of course."
