dance monster ;
"Joon?" Jimin squints, clearing his throat. "No, it's dance monster. Of course, it's me, who would it be?" Namjoon rolls his eyes, propping himself up. With a grunt, he managed to sit up. "Dang, this thing isn't healing as fast as it used to." "Are you okay?" Jimin's voice softens, an emotion you couldn't quite decipher laced through his voice.
The blue-haired male reached out to touch his shoulder, but Namjoon only swatted his hands away. Narrowing your eyes, you managed to catch the colour of his hair - blonde. Was that why he had a ray of gold within him? "So, Park. Who's this lady? I'm pretty sure your exact words were 'I'll be back soon,' and not 'I'm bringing a lady with me,'" Namjoon raises his eyebrows, face straight.
Something about him gave you chills. You moved towards Jimin, cautiously wrapping your hand around his arms. He pulls his arms out of your hands, leaving you confused. "Plans changed," he answered, voice shifting into a carefree and relaxed one. Altering his body, he faced Namjoon. His body blocked Namjoon's view of you, allowing you to let out a breath you didn't know you were holding. His hand reaches towards the back, back against the floor, tapping on it.
Eyes widening, you realised what he meant. Getting the signal, you placed your hand on top of his. He squeezed it as if to comfort you. "Is she related to Mister?" Namjoon's deep voice spread across the room. "I'm not entirely sure," Jimin gulps, grip on your hand weakening. "I don't think so, though. It's impossible."
"And how would you know that?" the blonde male questions, voice unwavering. Intertwining hands, Jimin spoke.
"I just do."
He sounded terrified. The cheeky, absolutely playful Park Jimin. Who knew he'd be afraid of someone like him? Sighing softly, Namjoon pulls himself off the ground. "Let's go. Time and tide wait for no man. We have to get Yoongi and Taehyung. Then, let's pay Mister a visit." he orders, walking toward the direction or a snoring Seokjin. The oldest's mouth was wide agape. By the looks of it, he'd probably not notice if a fly flies down his throat.
"Jimin?" you call, hesitating. Should you tell him about the voices you've been hearing? "Kim Namjoon. Leader of the seven of us. He's not to be messed with. He's dangerous, but if he warms up to you, you'll realise that he's an absolute softie. Mention crabs as food, he'd kill you." Jimin spoke, eyes glazed over as if he was in a trance.

"You don't have to be afraid, I'm here to protect you, as promised." the phantom whispers, free hand moving to cup your cheeks, lips closing the space between you. Like clouds that descended on you, his lips touched your forehead. "Yoongi and Taehyung are the last two, let's go get them," he pulls you up by the hand, a soft smile placed on his lips.
Guess not today.
As you approached the rest, a soft giggle left your lips. Namjoon had given up on Jungkook, moving towards Hoseok. Jin was by Jungkook's side, head drooping slightly. Yawning, the older placed a hand on the latter's chest. "Where is it?" Jin slurred, eyes flickering open and close. He lets out another yawn, eyes opening as he stared back down at Jungkook.
You guess he found the spot. "Wake up, macaroni head," he grins, index and thumb pushing together at Jungkook's skin. The darkness acted as an object that blocked your view, disallowing you from seeing what exactly was Jin doing. With a yelp, Jungkook jolts awake, strings of curse words flying out of his mouth. The pink-haired male laughed, his laugh imitating that of a windshield wiper.
Jungkook rubbed his right chest, sending a glare to the laughing spirit. A thump grabbed your attention, causing you to turn your head. Hoseok was now on top of Namjoon, hands wrapped around his chest, face buried in his chest. Subconsciously, a smile formed on your face.
At these little actions, you could tell how much they had missed and loved each other. Jin and Jungkook were like the friends you've never had - the ones who were constantly bickering, embarrassing each other, fooling around. Yet, deep within, they loved each other. You wondered, how long have they known each other?
"So, ready to leave?" Namjoon's still voice was now a little breathless, hands patting Hoseok's back. "One minute," Hoseok's muffled voice fills the still room. Jin and Jungkook packed up, placing the used tissues in the bin. "Who's next?" you asked Jimin, who had been observing Namjoon and Hoseok with a large smile on his face. "Yoongi," he answers, shoulders shrugging a little.
"Yoongi," Jungkook echoes, moving towards you. Hands wrapped around your waist, head in your neck, he whispers, "Yoongi. The last to fill the trio." the trio? Snarling, Jimin pushes Jungkook off your shoulder, pulling his hands off your waist. Trio? Namjoon, Hoseok, Yoongi? Or Jin, Jungkook, and Yoongi? "Sorry, he's clingy after waking up," Jin apologizes, ruffling his hair.

Y/n.
Come back.
Don't leave us here.
That voice.
"Jimin. Do you hear it?" you whisper, head twisting from left to right, in search of the voice. "Hear what?" he looks at you in confusion, brows furrowed together. "The whispers," you answer, heart clenching involuntarily. The five boys gazed at you, confusion and suspicion were written all over their faces.
"What whispers?" Namjoon inquires, voice doubtful. Hoseok smacks the side of his hand. "Someone keeps calling my name. It's been happening ever since I met Jungkook. I think they know me. The person mentioned 'us'. I think there's more than one person." you explained, goosebumps filling your entire arm. Pulling your entwined hands Jimin takes ahold of your attention.
"Why didn't you tell me this?" he whispers, eyes filled with anger and... hurt? "I tried to," you explained, teeth sucking on your lips. He releases your hand, face blank. Why was he so mad over it? "Do you know who they are?" Jin questions.
You shook your head, "I've tried to talk to them, but they wouldn't respond." you answer, nervousness eating at your heart. "Are they dangerous?" No. Stop. Do not mention us to the bangtan boys. The voice hissed loudly as if it was being scalded. "Is it talking?" Hoseok looks at you, green eyes staring into your soul.
Bangtan boys? You asked back, gaze shifting from one to another. They're dangerous, y/n. stay away from them. Don't mention us to them. Bring us back. It pleads. A picture flashes by your head, but you were too slow to capture it. "They said you're dangerous. Bangtan Boys." you frown, head in a dilemma. Who were you supposed to trust?
"Did the voice tell you that?" Hoseok growls, gaze darkening. Maybe you should've trusted the voice. "Hoseok." Jimin breathes out, tone stern as if to warn him. "There's a lot you don't know about us, y/n. Obviously, trust is a two-way route. Can we trust that you aren't going to stab us in the back after we let you in on our secrets?" Jimin raises a brow. He was way different from the Jimin you knew and it scared you. It scared you how he could change from someone you knew to someone you didn't.
Nodding subtly, you mentioned him to go on. "Somehow, we became friends with each other. Taehyung and I know each other, Jin and Jungkook know each other, while Hoseok, Namjoon, and Yoongi know each other. As stated, Jin met Hoseok while he was trying to escape. On the day we were set free, Jin brought Hoseok to meet Jungkook. Hoseok introduced the both of them to Namjoon and Yoongi," Jimin paused, a trace of blue running across his eyes.
"Taehyung and I were hanging out at a park, when the five of them walked towards us, asking if we knew the way to the concert - a concert held for our entertainments. It was held by humans who believed in us. On our way to the concert, Taehyung and Yoongi clicked, and there you have it. The seven of us, all together." Jimin smiles, the tiny curl on his lips disappearing the second it popped up.
"Did you click with any of them?" you asked, ignoring the wails from the voices. As you waited for any of them to answer, you realised that the person's voice in your head was slowly fading out. "Jimin was cold at first, he warmed up to us eventually, though." Jungkook chirped, throwing a hand over Jimin's shoulder. Jin stood by your side, lips pulled back in a smile. Namjoon and Hoseok were behind the two youngest. The blonde-haired male looked at you expectantly.
Breathing in deeply, your unstable voice spoke. "I don't know much about the voice, neither do I know anything about this Mister guy. Jimin did mention that I do have lost memories, and I think it may be related to him,"
The five of them look at you, nodding in unison. "Then let's find out. But we're not going to leave anyone behind, regardless. Got it?" Namjoon orders, this time with a warm smile on his face.
"Got it."
