hell, more like hell-tel;
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Both of you strolled alongside the streets, enjoying the midnight air. It smelled of freedom and relaxation.
You haven't felt like that in a while.
"Where is the portal to hell?" you questioned, breaking the silence. Jimin lets out a squeaky laugh, squatting down in the process of doing so.
Your brows creased as you eyed the trembling figure. "Hey! I don't know anything about hell, you can't judge," you whined, stomping your feet.
Jimin got up slowly, still laughing at your words. There goes your attempt to try and start a conversation. You continued walking, tilting your head slightly towards the sky.
It was like salt had been sprinkled across a black blanket. The sky lit up with stars, some twinkled at you, as if to say hi. The view was so beautiful.
"Kit kat, are you mad at me?" Jimin asked, wrapping his hands around your waist, pulling you closer to him. He was by your side as he hugged you, creating difficulties for you as you walked. You bit the insides of your cheek and placed your palm on his face, pushing it away.
Jimin snickers, "Your hand smells good, what kind of lotion do you use?"
How does this mushroom head manage to say the weirdest things that no one would've thought about in normal situations?
You rolled your eyes at his comment, smacking the hands that snaked themselves around your waist. "Here!" Jimin speaks up, grabbing your wrist.
A door...?
You were currently strolling past malls, and the door the both of you stopped in front of had a sign that read: dangerous, only for staff.
"What-"
"Keep it down,"
Jimin cuts you off, whispering three words before opening it.
But a second later, he closed it.

"Why? What did you see? Are there ghost guards? Does this mean we can go home?" you bombarded the male with questions, eyes gleaming with excitement when you asked the last question.
Who'd want to visit the devil's home anyway?
"I forgot your costume," Jimin answered, pulling the unsightly dress that he had sown out of his pocket.
It was a bright red dress, with corners cut into triangles and flowers sewn onto them.
"Won't I look too human?" you question, holding the dress in your hands. "Nope, there are some supervisors who like to dress up as humans. You'll just have to pretend to be them," Jimin answers, standing in front of you.
"I won't look, there aren't many people here either, you can change," Jimin turns around holding out his hands to cover you.
You placed your legs through the open hole of the dress and discarded your shirt off your torso. "Done," you whisper, holding the shirt in your hands.
The pants you wore was short enough to be covered by the dress. Jimin nods, taking the shirt from your hands and throwing it onto the floor.
"Let's go,"
Unwillingly, you left the shirt on the floor and walked inside the room. It wasn't really a room.
It was like a hotel.
A hotel filled with blood.
Terrified, you entwined hands with the ghost. I promise, I will protect you. Jimin's words rang in your head. The moment your hand touches his, he retracted.
"You're a supervisor, supervisors and ghost don't get along well," Jimin whispered, walking down the hallway.
It's like you walked into a hotel lobby. But there weren't any humans. There were more of those not-really-Santa-Claus walking around. The walls were stained bright red, the counter-tops were dark red in colour, and there were human-like ladies talking to ghosts. They were probably people who had just died and arrived in hell.

The lights were dimmed, black standing out in the pools of bloody red colour. It was hard to see, but you could still make out what, or who filled the space.
The room was filled with busy demons, ghosts sitting on chairs while waiting. Long queues formed as the spirits waiting to get to the front desk.
It wasn't as terrifying as you thought it would be.
Most of the demons looked the same, black bulging eyes with long, sharp teeth. Their teeth were longer than your index finger. Sharper than knives, but not as sharp as Jimin's jawline.
They snarled at every passer-by, saliva dripping from their mouths. They were bald, veins popping up on their head, neck, and body.
Some demons carried old and torn boxes, a few of them were walking towards lifts, others towards the counters. A sharp end protruded out, glistening under the lights.
What was that for?
Other demons were walking around with three-headed dogs. The dogs weren't like the ones on earth. One of the dogs had a scar on its eyes and blood splattered across its face.
The other dog was chewing on something, which he spat out after and it turns out to be an eyeball. You shuddered inwardly, shaking your head at the sight.
You take back your words. If this was how the first level looked like, you think you'd rather not explore the other levels.
The last dog had charcoal-liked eyes. Both his iris and pupil were black, leaving no traces of white in it. His ears were backward, snout so dry to the extent it has cracks on it.
The layout was like every hotel. Except there were no escalators, or food served. Ghosts loitered around the lobby, that was filled with couches, carpets and, statues of a half-man, half-demon.
There were four counters, trying to manage the incoming visitors. As you glanced around, you realised that there were many people dying, every minute, every second.
Every minute, another ghost walks in the door. "You okay?" Jimin whispered, snapping you out of the trance you were in.
"I just never thought... that it would look like this."
"Is that good or bad? The lower we go, the worse it gets," Jimin murmurs, keeping his head down. Oh right, he tried to escape from here.
You didn't know how to answer him. There were chandelier-liked lights, and candles that lit the room. It smelled like a mix of blood and cherry.
"Hey you!" a black-headed demon, which stood out from the crowd of red balls with popping veins, called out to you. Your head snapped in his direction, heart pounding in your chest.
"Y-yes?" You replied. All that talk or reminders about being confident had slowly slipped away. Jimin distanced himself from you, standing three feet away and pretended to look around.
Did you get caught?

By the way, if you noticed, the day after Jimin named Y/n after fruits, he started naming her after vegetables, then cakes, and then candy. For those who don't understand what's going on, Jimin just picks a random topic, for example, animals. And he'll use that topic, and pick out a few names, example puppy, kitten, etc to name y/n. I find it cute don't judge 😭
But I like the fruit one the most 😌 I'll do it again some other time.
