《Cute but Psycho (Emmett Cullen)》Chapter Fourteen

Piper had drove herself to Port Angeles, since she didn't want to be stuck with the other girls at all times if she didn't have to. She followed them into the dress shop, and she wasn't too happy to be looking at all the dresses. Honestly, she felt like Jessica was trying to look like a hoe to get attention, even though Mike had asked her to prom.
"What do you think, Piper?" Angela asked, spinning around in her dress.
"I think that color suits you. It makes your eyes pop." Piper replied, causing Angela to smile.
When a group of drunk guys cat called the girls through the window, all of them were grossed out. Piper flipped them off, causing the biggest one to smirk at her. She was not playing with them though, so if they caused any trouble, she'd be willing to kick some ass.
"Piper, are you coming with me to the book store?" Bella asked, pulling Piper's attention from the window.
Though the guys had left, Piper couldn't help but glare out of the window, as if she was challenging the men to come back. She wasn't always the smartest when it came to staying out of trouble, but sometimes people deserved to get their asses kicked.
"Sure, but I'm not buying." Piper replied, causing Bella to roll her eyes playfully.
Bella lead the way to the bookstore, and the girls had decided to leave Piper's car outside the dress shop, since the bookstore wasn't far away. Walking inside, Bella seemed to know exactly what she was looking for.
"Bella, I'm going to stay back for a minute to keep looking. Are you alright on your own?" Piper asked, causing Bella to nod.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Jess and Ange probably want to get to the diner anyway. I'll order your drink while we're waiting." Bella replied, as she headed towards the door.

After Bella left, Piper grabbed a couple books on mythical creatures, which she had been interested in ever since she had read a book about angels a few weeks ago. After paying for the books, she grabbed the bag with her books and left the store.
"Piper!" She heard, causing her to quickly turn.
"Emmett? What are you doing here?" She asked, furrowing her eyebrows.
"I was out with Edward, and he found Bella, so she sent me to you. She said to bring you to pick up your car, then meet her and Edward at the diner. Jessica and Angela already ate, so they left when Edward showed up and promised Bella food." Emmett replied, causing the girl to nod.
Emmett grabbed the girl's hand, causing her to look down at their hands discreetly. His hands were huge compared to her, and his hands were way colder than any normal person, but she didn't question it. She knew people who had cold hands because of poor circulation, which she did as well, but not as bad as Emmett obviously.
Emmett brought the girl to her car, and he decided to drive them to the diner. When they got to the diner and went inside, Piper wasn't surprised to see the table right behind Edward and Bella's ready for her and Emmett. Bella had ordered the girl the tea she had wanted, as well as a cheesey pasta the girl loved. Emmett lead the girl over to the table, before the both of them sat down.
"I'm not saying I'm unhappy to see you, but I kind of feel like you're a bit of a creepy stalker." Piper commented, causing Emmett to laugh.
"Not at all, if anything, it's all Edward. I was just along for the ride. Besides, Alice was the one who knew where you two were, and she let it slip out when talking to Edward." Emmett said, and Piper laughed.

"Wait, how did Alice know where we were?" She asked, furrowing her eyebrows.
"Oh, uh, she heard Jessica and Angela talking about the trip. They were so excited for the dresses that they weren't very quiet about it." Emmett answered, though he had lied to her face, and he hoped she didn't figure it out.
He could tell by the look on her face, she didn't fully believe him, but she didn't question him, so he was able to sigh in relief. If she would've questioned him, he doubted he would've been able to lie to her again. He hated lying to his mate, since she meant so much to him, but he knew it was safest for her if he lied, so he did so with an unhappy heart.
"I'll drive you home, then ride back to my place with Edward." Emmett said, as he walked beside Piper towards her car.
Piper and Emmett had small talk for most of the ride, since Emmett was still a little nervous over lying to Piper. He didn't know if she knew he was lying, or if she was mad at him for lying, so he tried to make everything seem as carefree as possible. He tried to seen as normal as he could, but it wasn't exactly easy, not when he had a guilty heart.
Once Piper was back at her place, she went straight to her bathroom and took a shower. She then slipped on a pair of shorts and a baggy shirt for bed, before putting her hair into two french braids.
"Piper, can I talk to you?" Bella asked, a couple of hours after Piper had laid down in bed to read one of her new books.
"Sure, come in." Piper replied, patting the bed next to her.
"I have reason to believe that the Cullens are vampires." Bella announced, causing Piper to laugh lightly.
"Why would you think that?" Piper asked, a smile of amusement on her face.
"Have you not realized any of their differences?" Bella asked, sighing in exasperation,"They're really strong, really fast, and extremely pale. They all have the exact same eyes, even though they're not related. They're as cold as ice, and their skin is as hard as a rock. When Jacob told me about the Cullens being different, I didn't think he was talking about this different. Sleep on it, and in the morning you'll realize that I'm right." Bella said, before she walked out of Piper's room.
Piper sighed and ran her fingers through her hair. She closed her book and placed it down on the bedside table, before turning off her light and laying down. She was a bit confused with Bella's accusations about the Cullens, but she wondered if maybe Bella was right. There were so many things running through her head, she doubted she'd ever be able to get much sleep that night...

Friendly Neighborhood Necromancer
To be taken to another world; isn't that the kind of thing that nearly everyone wishes for once in their life? To use their savvy knowledge of how things usually go in that situation to take advantage, and lead a life where they are the center and in control of their destiny. But in the stories, the one who is brought ends up with a grand power to help them through. Here, a man is brought to a foreign world as his new character in the VRMRPG, Underworld of Armok, at Level 1. In safety there are few benefits, only by taking risks far beyond his level could one proceed. Transported to another world, he wishes to do good and be a hero. Accumulating power to help the less fortunate. There's just one caveat; he's a Necromancer, and his greatest source of strength will probably get him lynched.Quick DescriptionAnother video game/isekai novel. Unfortunately, the MC has crossed over during character creation of a Necromancer and is Level 1. He also lacks the ever so helpful status window.Fair warning, the Friendly Villager Necromancer arc(1) is slow. He does not want to run out into the dangerous world to get killed right after arriving. Sucks to be Level 1, eh? Git gud scrub. It's basically a Slice of Life from his perspective. The Thread, in case you get a bit confused about people/places. [16+] Now probably! For strong language and violence! And anthropophagy and lewd intimations! And stupid jokes and obscure references! And philosophical ditherings and a slow pace! Make peace with the absurd, and come to terms with the terrible!

8 119Dropped into a Xianxia World
I think all of us have thought about what we would do in case of sudden Zombie apocolypse at least once.Acquiring a chainsaw and a team to get your back is a no brainer, but what do you do in case of sudden reincarnation? Not only that but in an all too familiar setting too...----This story should be a rather interesting journey for most, not the usual level up simulator that many Xianxia stories tend to be.I tried to create a very real personality of the Main character with quite a few flaws so don't expect him to always be right.A quick warning but 99% of the story will be held directly inside the MC's head and he tends to break the 4th wall very frequently, so don't be surprised.MATURE WARNING!This story has cursing, delicate subjects that may or may not offend people like the idea of slavery for example, descriptions of gore and death as well as erotic scenes! You have been warned!

8 91The Weather Vane
This is the first few chapter of my new book available on Amazon. The beginning is very light and fun, but more mature content comes later. From medieval fantasy to ultra high-tech to dinosaurs, The Weather Vane is a grippingly fast-paced adventure full of fun and excitement, literary flourish, and colorful characters. A group of ascendant masters find themselves in the afterlife and learn that they are newly recruited into the cosmic battle of good versus evil. Before they can join the fight, shipwreck strikes and they are lost in the ether. Stranded in a magical land beyond the reaches of the universe, The Weather Vane follows our crew of heroes as they try to piece things back together even while The Dark Lord’s forces march, maraud, and murder at every turn. Themes of darkness chase the overall levity of The Weather Vane which suffers not a lull as the climax begins near the beginning of the book and drives on through the greatly satisfying finish. The most epic of epics.
