《Cute but Psycho (Emmett Cullen)》Chapter Thirteen

"Are you going to prom, Piper?" Bella asked, walking into Piper's room.
"No, I'm not; unless Paige and Mark force me to go. I have a dress ready, even though it's the dress I planned on wearing for graduation. I might order a dress if I have to go to the prom." Piper answered, and Bella nodded wordlessly.
Instead of saying anything else to her sister, Bella left the room to let Piper finish getting ready for school. Once Piper was ready, she quickly left rhe house to avoid being late to school. The basketball coach told her that if she was late to school too often, she would be kicked off of the team, even if she was one of their more promising players.
As soon as she arrived at the school, Emmett hurried over to Piper's car. Piper practically jumped out of her skin when she opened the door to her car and seen Emmett standing nex to her car waiting on her.
"Emmett! Why did you have to scare me like that?!" Piper exclaimed, causing Emmett to chuckle.
"Sorry, didn't mean to do that," He replied, before he seemed to become awkward,"So, Alice and Rosalie bullied me last night for waiting too long, but I was wondering if you'd like to go to prom with me?" He asked, causing Piper to smile.
"I would love to go to prom with you, Emmett!" She exclaimed, making Emmett smile as well.
Emmett grabbed Piper's hand, and she was a little surprised by how cold his hand felt to hers, but she didn't say anything. His hand was also quite a bit larger than hers, but she was a bit smaller than him. Technically, she wasn't that small, but compared to Emmett, she was a fair bit smaller.

"Rosalie and Alice are taking you to get your prom dress Friday after school. They also plan on you staying over for the weekend, but that's all up to you." Emmett said, and Piper nodded.
"I'll tell Dad, but he should be fine with it." She replied, smiling at Emmett.
Emmett walked Piper to her class, which he had happened to he in as well. The two sat together, since Piper hadn't really became friends with many of the kids in the school. Most people felt like Piper was a bit scary to be around, but a lot felt like they weren't "cool" enough to hang out with her. Paige and Mark were her only real friends, other than the Cullen family.
"So, we're playing baseball Saturday, and if you're able to stay over for the weekend, I'd advise you to bring an outfit." Emmett commented, as the two copied notes off of the white board.
"Shouldn't your sisters be talking to me about outfits, and not you?" She asked jokingly, smirking playfully at the boy.
"I know, but I felt the need to tell you. Besides, if you plan to bring your own, Alice won't rope you into a huge shopping trip for a baseball game. She already plans to have her hooks in deep for the prom dress." He replied, causing Piper to laugh quietly.
When class ended, Piper was met by Rosalie Hale and Dylan Cullen. The couple had been standing outside of the classroom waiting on her and Emmett.
"Just to forewarn you, Piper, Alice is extra peppy today since Emmett said he was asking you to prom." Dylan said, and Piper laughed.
"I'm sure I can handle her." Piper replied, making the others laugh lightly.
"We'll see about that." Rosalie murmured, smirking towards her human friend.

A couple of hours later, lunch time had finally come and Piper was starving. Unlike Bella, Piper wasn't a huge vegetarian watching her weight. Piper was fine with what she ate, and she didn't care what people thought about her calorie intake. She did worry about her body, but she would do pushups and situps often, as well as other exercises to lose weight and gain a little muscle. Besides, basketball kept her fit and she gained muscle from it as well, just not too much.
"You're sitting with us so we can talk dresses!" Alice beamed, as she grasped both of Piper's arms with her small hands.
Piper was a little shocked by the way Alice had approached her, but she simply smiled and agreed with the girl. Jasper pulled Alice away so Piper could grab her lunch, since he could tell that she was hungry by her emotions and the way she was glaring at the boy near the line that was eyeballing on of her favorite foods. As Piper stepped into the line and grabbed her food, which consisted of cheese fries, a bowl of grapes, and a coconut cupcake, she was grabbed by Bella.
"Will you go with Angela, Jessica, and I to Port Angeles tonight? They want to go get their prom dresses and they want my opinion. I was hoping you'd go so you can come with me to get a book while we're there." Bella rambled, and Piper sighed.
Piper didn't want to go to Port Angeles with Jessica Stanley, but she and Bella had a rocky relationship, so if there was a way she could improve it, even for a little while, she was somewhat willing to do so. Grabbing a bottle of grape flavored water, Piper turned towards Bella.
"Fine, I will go, but only if you buy me an apple kiwi tea at dinner." Piper replied, and Bella quickly nodded.
The Cullens had heard Bella and Piper's conversation, which made them frown. They had wanted to have a nice talk with Piper during lunch, but they knew the Port Angeles trip would be weighing on her mind too much for her to really have a great conversation. They just hoped Jessica didn't cause Piper any problems...

A/N: I hope you guys liked this chapter. Some of my stories have gotten more attention from me than others, but I will try to keep that from happening for a while. I hate making people feel like I've abandoned my books when I haven't.

8 686Life of a Grimoire
Being a book is not a great experience. Can I see? No, I don't have eyes. Can I touch anything? No, I don't have limbs. With any luck, someone will pick me up and read me, at least. Hopefully sooner than later...
8 197The Botched Summoning
People know of the Summoning Ritual: it brings the greatest of heroes in a new world to defeat the evil at the horizon! High and mighty adventurers, guardians of light, here to defend the oppressed humanity from their despicable foes. But what if the plea, the 'desperate' call for help, was met with contempt and disdain ? What would happen if the ritual fails? What horrid things could come out of a botched ritual? A man can personify the most feared beast known of man while being the sole hope of the kingdom. Emotions can cloud even gods judgement. Balance of power if a fragile thing, oaths and scorn can disturb it easily. This is the story of Fafnir as he has to survive his new life. But things are not always as they appear." i want to thank mejinzs for his gift of cover art, and both rouge and mejinzs for the proofreading support and rouge for the help with the abstract R15+ for violence... i guess and possible strong language... i guess (doing this as a better safe than sorry sort of deal.) now posting on my blogspot site as well (https://talesoftheforgottenslayer.wordpress.com/)
8 169The Going-Home Club
At Palomar High, every student is required to join a club. Neil Velazquez is an incoming senior at this school. From the basket weaving club to the humanist society, he coasted through junior year by lurking in such unrelated, nonserious, and low-commitment groups. He's not interested in participating in any activities. He could care less, and is just looking for a place to fulfill the requirement. He's panicked that all of the easy clubs are disappearing. That's when he stumbles across the "Going-Home Club". It's a club where nothing happens. Absolutely nothing. Vector Attribution: Building Vectors by Vecteezy
8 130The Paradox Prophecy
Thousands of years ago, an alliance between the races of Idoras and the mighty dragons, saved the world from destruction. After many years of relative peace, a dark evil emerges. Aalya, a young girl from the small kingdom of Avani, meets the young Prince Alexandar. When chaos reigns on their peaceful home, Aalya and her friends gear up for an adventure that could very well determine the fate of all life in Idoras. I haven't completely fleshed out the prophecy yet but I wanted to include it because it is an important part of the story. I have decided it would be better to spend some time figuring out the world I am creating and work out all the kinks in the story. I have done a lot of editing in the first seven chapters already. For now, updating will be scarce. I will post all of part one once I am happy with what I have written. I will leave what I have up, but please let me know what you think. I do not own the image I used for the cover.
