《Cute but Psycho (Emmett Cullen)》Chapter Two

The first day of school came, meaning Piper had to wake up early and get ready. Since Piper didn't get cold easy, she had opted to wear a pair of shorts, a tank top, a blazer, and a pair of grey boots. Her hair was thrown into a messy bun, and she had minimal make up placed on her face, which was mostly lip gloss, eyeliner, and mascara.
Piper's car had been delivered late Sunday night. She was surprised, but she was also happy that her car was early and not late. Climbing into her car, she decided to leave for school after Bella had already left. Truth be told, she didn't want to be associated with the hideous truck Bella had, but nonetheless she loved her sister, even if her sister had an ugly truck.
When Piper pulled into the parking lot, she could feel many eyes on her. She rolled her eyes and walked passed everyone, going straight for the main office of the school. More and more eyes landed on her, but she simply ignored them since she knew they were thinking she was weird. She loved the way she was though, so she ignored people's opinion of her.
"How may I help you?" The front desk lady asked, her voice monotoned and bored.
"I'm new here. My name's Piper Swan, Isabella Swan's older sister." Piper said, causing the woman to look up at her with a smile.
"You're the oldest daughter of chief Swan. He called the other day to sign you up for your classes. Here's your schedule." The woman replied, handing Piper a piece of paper.
Piper looked over the paper, reading the classes she had been given. Her first class was math, second class was english, third was history, then lunch, after lunch was shop, and her last class was gym. She was upset when she seen that basketball was not a part of her schedule, so she turned towards the front desk woman once more.

"Does this school not have a basketball team for girls?" Piper asked, causing the woman to smile once more.
"Coach Jones will have to talk to you about basketball. We do have a girl's team, but you'll have to try out before you can be a part of the team. Chief Swan told me you would want to be a part of the team, so I gave you last period for gym, though nobody else had gym last period. If you don't make the team, I'll switch your english and gym, so you'll actually have a gym class." The woman stated, and Piper nodded.
Piper quickly left the office to find her first class, since she didn't want to be late for her first class. Even though she wasn't too adamant on her classes, she wanted to make a good first impression so the teachers will like her and give her a break if she's late, using the excuse of basketball once she got on the team. Piper was positive she'd make the team, since she had been told often just how amazing she was at playing.
Her first few classes were easy, even though they weren't too interesting. Piper really wasn't a fan of math or english. She was quite good at history, since she found some fascination in learning about history, even the controversial parts. She didn't grab much for lunch, since she wasn't a huge fan of the food the school gave out. She had grabbed chicken strips and honey mustard. A student was only allowed two 'large' chicken strips, so she really didn't have much food.
As Piper sat down with her food and bottle of strawberry water, a bag of cheetos were placed in front of her. Her eyebrows furrowed, as she watched a boy and girl sit down beside her. The girl had dark hair and was really pale, and the boy also had dark hair, but he was somewhat tan. The duo didn't seem like they would hang out with anyone, but they had chose Piper to be their friend.

"I'm Paige Stanley. That's my boyfriend, Mark Westley. We seen you didn't have any friends, and you look like someone we'd hang out with, so we decided to sit with you." Paige stated, taking a sip of her lemon water.
"I seen you didn't get much for lunch, so I figured you could use some more food. Consider the cheetos as the beginning of our friendship." Mark said, a smile gracing his face.
"I'm Piper Swan. I don't really like school food, so I appreciate the cheetos. Most people don't really want to associate with me, since I'm considered weird, loud, and a bit too outgoing." Piper replied, as she nodded in greeting towards the couple.
"Don't listen to those people, they feel the same way about us." Paige commented, and Mark nodded in agreement.
"They use to tape notes to my locker of schools that would, 'accept freaks' like me. Of course, that was during middle school. Most of the people around here have grown out of their childish ways." Mark said, and Paige snorted.
"Not my sister, she's still as childish and terrible as ever." Paige replied, causing Piper to look over at the dark haired girl.
"You have a sister? What grade is she?" Piper asked, causing Paige to smirk.
"Her name is Jessica, and she's a junior. I do believe she's friends with your sister Isabella, at least, that's what Mike told me. Mike Crowley claims he's also a friend of your sister. He doesn't like my sister, so he reports back to me everytime she does anything he doesn't like or something he thinks I should know." Paige stated, as Piper nodded slightly.
Sighing, Piper looked towards her sister, as Paige and Mark pointed out each person at the table with her sister. As they finished naming the people and all of their disappointing flaws, a group of people walked in that were really pale, paler than Paige, and the people were quite beautiful.
"Who are they?" Piper asked, causing Paige and Mark to look over at the group.
"The Cullens. They're all adopted by Dr Cullen and his wife. Since they're adopted, most of them aren't related. Apparently Rosalie and Jasper are twins though." Paige said, as she back to Piper.
"Rosalie Hale is the blonde, and the boy holding her hand is Dylan Cullen. The girl with the short hair is Alice Cullen, and the boy beside her is Jasper Hale. The two boys behind them are the only single ones. The creepy looking one is Edward Cullen, and the buff one is Emmett Cullen. They've stayed to themselves since they came to our school in sophomore year. People call them weird because they won't talk to anyone outside their family, but they don't seem to mind what anyone says about them." Mark added, tossing another fry in his mouth.
Piper wondered if she was going to make a difference to them, since Alice had talked to her in class, and she wasn't a part of the Cullen family. She wondered if that was Alice's way of saying she'd be the next family member. Piper simply shook her head, knowing she was definitely wrong. She was glad she had made two friends though, even if it took until lunch for her to finally make friends...
