《Cute but Psycho (Emmett Cullen)》Chapter One

Piper was excited to finally be back in Forks. She had gotten really tan the whole time she was in Phoenix, but Forks was where she felt at home. She and Bella were going to Forks to give their mother the chance to travel with Phil, their new step-father. Phil was a nice guy, but he traveled often because of baseball.
"Hey Dad!" Piper exclaimed, as she made her way over to Charlie.
"Hey Piper." He murmured, hugging Piper awkwardly.
Piper was different from Charlie and Bella. She was outgoing, funny, and she dressed different from her sister. Bella was more of a tomboy, whilst Piper was a bit hipster and a bit girlie. She always wanted her hair done, but she was also good at basketball, so she was classed as a girlie hipster according to her friends.
"Are you not cold, Piper?" Charlie asked, looking over at his oldest daughter.
"No, I don't get cold easy." She replied, and he nodded slightly.
When they arrived at the Swan home, Charlie showed the girls to their rooms. Piper had ordered all of her bedroom things herself, so Charlie wouldn't have a hard time picking out things for her bedroom. Piper had a job back in Phoenix, so she was easily able to get nice things for her room from all of the money she had saved up. Piper had spent two years of her life saving every penny she earned, meaning she had enough money to buy herself a car if she wanted.
After laying her suitcase on her bed, Piper picked up her laptop and began to look for cars she could buy for the amount of money she had left over. She wasn't able to buy anything fancy, but she was able to buy a nice car. She had ordered it through a used car website, after she made sure the car passed all of her qualifications. Her car wouldn't arrived until Monday, but luckily it was Saturday.

"Piper, Charlie has guests he wants us to see." Bella said, as she walked into Piper's room.
"Alright, I'll be down in a minute." Piper replied, as she closed her laptop and went to grab her shoes.
"Did you order the car you wanted?" Bella asked, looking at the setup of Piper's room.
"Yep, it'll be here Monday morning right before we have to leave for school." Piper answered, standing up from her bed.
Piper followed Bella down the stairs and outside to meet Billy and Jacob Black. Piper somewhat remembered them, but she didn't have the best memory. Her memory wasn't amazing, but she could remember some of the things she was supposed to remember when she needed to.
Piper could tell Jacob had a thing for Bella, but she couldn't really tell if Bella had a thing for Jacob or not. She admired the truck Charlie had bought from Billy for Bella, which made her glad she had bought her own car. She would've been grateful if Charlie had bought her a car, but she really didn't want to have a rusted old truck, that looked like it should've gone out of style in the 1950s.
"Jacob goes to school on the reservation, so he won't be going to school with us." Bella commented, as she stepped out of her new truck.
"You'll have me though, Bells. Don't worry about being alone." Piper replied, smiling at her little sister.
While Billy and Charlie taunted each other and Jacob and Bella talked amongst each other, Piper sat down on the hood of her father's police cruiser and swung her legs from side to side. She began to think about how school would be when she started Monday, seeing as it would be her senior year. She was unsure about school, since it wasn't the best thing she'd do, but she knew school was important.

Piper planned on being a dancer or professional basketball player when she graduated high school, but she wasn't sure which one would actually happen. She could dance quite well, same as she could play basketball, but she wasn't sure which one she liked more. She almost wondered if she could do both, but she knew it wouldn't be easy.
"Dad, are you going to put up my basketball goal for me?" Piper asked, as she walked over to him and Billy.
"Jacob can do it for you. He's got tools in the back of the truck." Billy replied, giving Jacob a nod.
Jacob quickly grabbed his tools, as Piper walked over to the porch and grabbed the basketball goal. Piper held the goal over the garage, as Jacob worked to get it to stay up and sturdy. Once it was perfectly sturdy, Piper ran to get her basketball.
"Want to play?" Piper asked, causing Jacob to shrug.
Jacob and Piper played hoops, as Bella watched from the sidelines. Bella wasn't very into sports, but Piper seemed to like them. Piper was good at sports, well, most sports. She had troubles sometimes when it came to playing with people younger than her, since most of them weren't as strong or agile. She needed compensation, and surprisingly, Jacob was somewhat competition for her.
"You'll be playing for the team in Forks, right?" Jacob asked, causing the girl to shrug.
"I hope so, but they never told me if they had a team or not. Dad was supposed to ask, but I never got an answer. I hope they have a team though, since I really want to continue playing." Piper answered, tossing the ball into the hoop again.
"If they don't, what are you going to play?" Bella asked, as she watched her sister and Jacob play.
"I don't know if I'll play another sport. I may just go straight to dancing. I'll have to find a studio that does the dancing I want, but I'll have to choose that if I can't play basketball." She replied, and Bella nodded.
Piper really hoped the school had a girl's basketball team. She also hoped her school year would go well. If it didn't go well, she doubted she'd ever be able to handle more school afterward...

A/N: I hope you guys liked this chapter. I found a lot of new outfits for this book on pinterest, so I hope I get to use them all for the story. No, this will not follow too much like the Teilight series, since I always felt like those kinds of stories were too cliche, boring, or repetitive. It'll follow the storyline of course, but some of the cringe won't happen.
Love you guys!

Grin the Cheat
There was a time when heroes roamed between the Four Great Cities. They fought for kingdoms and princesses and they lived and died by their valour. Or so the stories say. The way the minstrels sing it, everyone had a swashbuckling good time. Nowadays, buckles are rarely swashed. All the great beasts have been slain, all the great treasures unearthed. Princesses are few and far between — the ones worth fighting over, anyway — and the kingdoms have been divvied up between the sons of sons of sons of the heroes of old. No valour required. Frankly, the hero business is in a sorry state. Luckily for Grin the Cheat, thieving and murder are thriving as usual. If you have a moment, please vote for this story at Top Web Fiction. Galduta
What seperates beasts from men isn't the language we speak or any such drivel taught to us in school. It isn't the way we walk or our intelligence that sets us apart. That way of thinking, my friends, is entirely wrong. What seperates us from them and them from each other, is simply the skin that we all wear
