Taehyung looked at Jungkook expectantly who didn't take much time before nodding his head vigorously.The younger male was literally crying and laughing at the same time.He couldn't believe Taehyung was there, in front of him, that too on one of his knees...He couldn't stop himself from crying because Taehyung was not only asking him for a chance but he also gave Jungkook a chance by doing so!

A wide, boxy smile appeared on Taehyung's face as he took Jungkook's left hand in his.He carefully slipped one ring on Jungkook's ring finger and kissed it afterwards.With teary eyes, he looked at Jungkook who was now kneeling in front of him with a bunny tooth smile.His lips were wobbling to stop himself from crying loudly.

Taehyung leaned forward just to peck the trembling lips.He stayed in that position for few seconds before leaning back.His small gesture made Jungkook calm down a little.Taehyung wiped Jungkook's tears with the oad of his thumbs and then forwarded his left hand to Jungkook, silently asking him to put the other ring on his finger as well.Jungkook took a shaky breath before carefully putting the ring on Taehyung's ring finger.

A genuine smile appeared on Jungkook's face as he kissed Taehyung's knuckles lovingly.It felt like a dream.He was back with his love again !

Jungkook has always thought that he was too unlucky to live a happy life.He had parents but he still couldn't have them by his side ever, he had Taehyung who was his everything but he was harshly taken away from him just because of his parents.....at that point, Jungkook thought life was always unfair to him and it would always be.Maybe he was never meant to lead a good life, maybe he didn't deserve happiness, maybe love wasn't something that can give comfort to Jungkook's life!

Things aparently changed a lot when Jungkook found out about his pregnancy.Yes, it was hard for him to maintain everything alone.He craved for Taehyung the most in those days but he couldn't do anything about it.Jungkook had to control his emotions which were caused by his hormones, he had to stop himself from buying everything he craved to eat just because he needed money to raise his child alone!

The love in his heart for his baby was more than enough to gain control over those hormone things unlike other pregnant people.It was hard but Jungkook did it.Later, when Taegguk was born, Jungkook found a new meaning to his life.The moment he held the baby in his arms for the first time, he felt warmth spreading all over his soul.Taegguk was all he needed to carry on with life.After many days, Jungkook cried in happiness.Holding the baby felt like having a part of Taehyung with him which was partially true.It was that moment when Jungkook promised himself to live for his baby !

But look, how everything changed after he met Taehyung again after years!

Look, how his happiness was back when he stopped hoping to have it someday!

"I really forgot to ask you.How did you know about Taegguk?" Jungkook asked Taehyung who was driving them towards Jungkook's apartment after a long day.He was getting impatient to meet his son already!

It was evening already.The sun was about to set.After the morning incidents, both Taehyung and Jungkook had to go back to their respective works.Their much needed talks, their excitements, their overwhelming feelings could wait but the patients who came to them, expecting for good treatment shouldn't wait for long.It wasn't what their duty taught them.

Yes, it was hard to put hundred percent concentration on work b they still managed for a few hours.Usually, they stayed in their workplace till night but luck was on their side today.Few appointments got canceled and they could leave early, not before telling the team about their early departure though....

"Don't you always leave the important points behind?" Taehyung snickered at the male who pouted in response, a way to show how offensive Taehyung's comment was.

Taehyung laughed loudly which made his left tilt behind.Everything felt just too right.Jungkook was there, just beside him on the passenger seat.They were on their way to meet their son after a hectic day of work.It was just like it was supposed to be.Taehyung felt happiness spreading all over his senses.It felt surreal.

Seeing Taehyung laughing so wholeheartedly, Jungkook's lips curved upwards forming a genuine smile.He was feeling peaceful after so long.He was feeling like being home after a long tour....

"I met him the day I joined the hospital." Taehyung's voice snapped Jungkook out of his thoughts.

"How did you come to know that he's o-our son?" Jungkook asked.It was the first time he was saying 'our son' instead of 'my son'.The word felt just so right at the moment.It made Jungkook feel a lot better, as if the years of pain finally came to an end.

"His name...." A fond smile lit up Taehyung's features as he remembered his meet with Taegguk.

Jungkook nodded his head, understanding the points now.

"First I was skeptical about how his looks matches mine...but I didn't expect it to turn out like this....I mean....I can't put in words....I mean....how I felt....when I came to...." Taehyung sighed heavily, as he stopped searching for accurate words to explain his emotions out..

"I'm sorry." Jungkook's voice was filled with guilt.He honestly felt bad for Taehyung.He couldn't even imagine how Taehyung felt that he has a son out of nowhere, he couldn't even imagine how hard it was for the elder to accept everything.But Taehyung was strong, so strong that he still took decisions rationally even in such a situation.If it was someone else in Taehyung's place, they would clearly lose their mind, they would make a scene then and there, wanting explanations....

Taehyung looked at Jungkook and saw him fidgeting with his fingers while looking down at his lap.He smiled at the sight.Jungkook looked like a kicked bunny with that look.Taehyung put his free hand on Jungkook's thigh and rubbed it, silently telling him to stop beating himself for the past incidents.

Jungkook sighed.He should stop thinking about the past.Now he has Taehyung again.They have their son, a little bundle of sunshine in their lives as well.So he just promised himself to stop bringing the past everytime in their present lives.

There's a lot to come and Jungkook will welcome everything wholeheartedly.Now that Taehyung is there with him, he doesn't have any fear, he doesn't have that heavy feeling in the heart which made it hard to breathe for him.Everything was OK now.

Everything was falling into places....

Now, there's only one thing they should be bothered about.That is -

Taegguk meeting Taehyung and accepting him as his father as soon as possible.After all, Taegguk doesn't like sharing his favourites.....let it be his papa !
