Taehyung adverted his eyes from the man to Jungkook who was looking at him with so many emotions in his eyes.He slowly took steps towards the younger and stood right in front of him, totally ignoring the third person's presence inside the room.But Taehyung could feel the glare he was recueving from the other side.He clicked his tongue in annoyance and moved a bit, only to put the flower bouquet on Jungkook's table gently.

He then walked back towards Jungkook who was looking at him like a deer caught in headlights.Taehyung couldn't help but find the boy cute.He stopped near Jungkook and made the boy turn towards the other male.Jungkook's whole body went stiff in Taehyung's hold, not knowing what the elder was trying to do.He was sure of one thing though.

He knew for a fact that, Taehyung was getting mad and his calmness was nothing but the silence before the upcoming storm !

Once Jungkook stood facing Nick, he felt strong arms wrapping themselves around his waist from the back.His breath hitched when Taehyung pulled his body more towards his, leaving no space between their bodies.He felt goosebumps as Taehyung's hot breath hit his exposed neck.He shakily exhaled when Taehyung put his chin on his right shoulder while tightening the backhug.

Taehyung's whole demenaur screamed possessiveness and Jungkook was aware of it.To be honest, he felt lost.He didn't know how to react.He felt good that Taehyung was that close to him but at the same time, he felt bad, thinking Taehyung was just pretending in front of Nick.

"Who the fuck are you?" Nick's harsh tone snapped Jungkook out of his thoughts.He didn't move.Neither did he utter anything, letting Taehyung do whatever he wanted.

"Can't you see it already?I'm the someone because of whom this beauty here, is no longer available to anyone else anymore." Taehyung's voice was deeper than usual and it made Jungkook's body feel tingles inside it.

Nick gritted his teeth in irritation, hearing the witty remark.He could see how the man was holding Jungkook's body close to him, he could see how Jungkook's body was relaxed against the man's despite of being in each other's personal space, he could see emotions in Jungkook's eyes he had never seen before, he could see how the man was eyeing Jungkook from that closeness...

Meanwhile Jungkook was feeling breathless.He didn't want to hold his hopes high but Taehyung's words made him feel things, things he stopped feeling the moment he was out of the apartment Taehyung and he used to live in.He didn't want to but his heart started beating fast, hearing Taehyung.He could feel Taehyung's eyes on him which made his cheeks heat up, giving them a pink hue.

"Oh.So you're saying, you are with Jungkook.But what about his son?Will you accept him too?Huh" Nick said in a mocking tone, not wanting to give up just yet.

"Why won't I accept my own blood?" Taehyung raised one of his eyebrows as his eyes turned dark while looking at the still arguing male with a cold gaze.

Nick gulped.He didn't know that Jungkook was with the person who is the father of his son.He was not prepared to face such a situation.But he didn't want to lose too.Jungkook was like a drug to him.He wanted him so bad that giving up was not even an option.

"Oh?As long as I'm concerned you were not there with Jungkook when he was carrying your child.You don't even deserve him.Why are you suddenly acting like you never ran away from your responsibilities?" Nick asked with rage.A smirk appeared on his face when he saw the changing emotions in the man's eyes who looked hurt.

Nick was sure, he hit the right point when he saw the man's grip loosening around Jungkook's waist.

"What?Cat got your tongue?Your own blood huh?Only a coward like you leaves his lover after impregnating them."

Taehyung felt hurt after hearing those words from the man.Yes, it was true that he didn't know about Jungkook being pregnant at that time.But that doesn't justify the fact that he indeed left Jungkook when the boy needed him the most.The guilt he was trying to suppress inside him, again came out at once, making him feel weak.His hold on Jungkook's body automatically loosened as his brain filled with thoughts.

He indeed didn't deserve Jungkook; did he?

Nick was liking the defeated look on Taehyung's face a bit too much that he failed to notice a pair of raging eyes glaring holes at him.

Jungkook felt Taehyung's changing emotions, he felt Taehyung's warmth that was wrapping him in a safe feeling, starting to fade away.He didn't like it one bit, he didn't like it one bit that Nick was mocking his Taehyung, the love of his life inside his personal cabin.

Taehyung didn't do anything wrong to hear such harsh words.Who would know it better than Jungkook?Jungkook was the one who left Taehyung, all broken, Jungkook was the one who gave birth to and then raised Taehyung's child all alone, Jungkook was the one who hid things from Taehyung......Jungkook is the one who is and should be guilty for their separation.

But no.He had enough.Maybe he becomes too weak to defend himself sometimes but he is not some weakling who will hear anything nonsense coming from some shitty people like Nick without protesting.No, Jungkook was not the weak anymore.He felt the need to protect Taehyung this time.He won't let him hear such hurtful words when he should be the one to be blamed.

Taehyung's heart ached more when Jungkook got away from his hold completely after hearing the man's venomous words.He knew he deserved it but Jungkook willingly going away from him still hurts!

A loud gasp left Taehyung's mouth when the sound of a loud slap resonated through the cabin.Before he could think properly, another similar sound was hard inside the room.With a fast beating heart and wide eyes, Taehyung took hurried steps to Jungkook who was about to slap the male again.The man looked too shocked to even react.Both his cheeks had red, fingerprints because of the hard slaps he got from a raging Jungkook.

"GET OUT OF HERE BEFORE I PULL YOUR EYES FROM THE SOCKETS, YOU BASTARD.HOW DARE YOU SAY THAT TO HIM....HOW FUCKING DARE YOU?" Jungkook started yelling because of the anger he felt.He wanted to kill Nick with his bare hands.He tolerated whatever the male said to him because he was in his work place.But hearing how Nick said hurtful words to hurt Taehyung intentionally made his blood boil.

To say Nick was shocked would be understatement.He never in his wildest dreams had imagined seeing this side of Jungkook.Even though his cheeks were stinging in pain, the fear inside his heart masked it for the time being.Yes, he was getting scared now.He didn't know Jungkook was capable of hitting him and seeing his state, anyone could tell that the male couldn't be stopped easily.

But he stopped....he stopped, panting heavily when the other male Nick still didn't remember the name of pulled him in his embrace.

"Hey, shh...calm down....calm down baby..." Taehyung's voice was soothing as he hugged the still raging male tightly.He was too worried for Jungkook to notice what he called him just now.But Jungkook heard it.The word itself was more than enough to make him calm down.

Jungkook pulled out of the hug slowly and looked at Taehyung with teary eyes and wobbling lips.He couldn't believe his ears that Taehyung just called him 'baby'.The pain in his heart for years started fading away just by hearing the mere word from Taehyung.He looked at Taehyung carefully as the other did the same.

Taehyung realized what he called Jungkook the moment the boy broke the hug.He felt bad, thinking he made Jungkook feel uncomfortable.He looked at the younger with fear in his heart as the other stares at him with silence.A sigh left Taehyung's mouth when he thought that he went overboard.First he showed possessiveness over Jungkook without knowing what the other felt and now he called him with nickname as if everything was fine between them !

The elder took a deep breath, mentally getting ready to apologize even though he wasn't really feeling sorry for what he did.Hell, he loved every bit of closeness with Jungkook.Now he knows, how much he has craved for Jungkook for almost three long years.

Taehyung's apology never got the chance to leave his mouth.It got sealed inside even before he could let it out.His heartbeat raised irratically as his eyes blown wide at the unexpected move Jungkook just did.

Jungkook freaking kissed him......
