"........So...it was nice to meet you all.Let's work hard as a team." Taehyung said in his deep voice indicating that the meeting was over.He stood up from his sitting position, followed by others and bowed politely before walking out of the room.

It was hard for him to not cry, to not show his emotions.It was even harder to not glance at the side where a bunny looking male was sitting down.From the corner of his eyes, Taehyung could see how Jungkook never once looked away from him.The boy looked anything but happy and it hurt Taehyung terribly.

Taehyung never got the chance to see Jungkook after the boy left the apartment they lived together in.He really thought Jungkook would come back to him but the boy didn't.Taehyung felt too hurt but still he went to the Jeon Mansion before leaving South Korea.

He wanted to meet Jungkook one last time but the guards didn't let him enter the big campus, saying it was their young master's order.Never in his life Taehyung imagined that one day, Jungkook wouldn't want to see his face.That much that the boy would tell the guards to stop Taehyung from meeting him !

That day, the already paining heart of Taehyung broke into millions of pieces.He felt used, he felt sick of everything.From outside, he could see the decorations of Jungkook's marriage.It broke something inside him, it broke the trust he had in love!

Taehyung really thought Jungkook was going through a hard time and he expected the boy to come to him.He wanted nothing but to protect him.But at that moment, it seemed like Jungkook didn't want any protection from him.Actually he didn't need it.The Jeon's had enough to give their only child except love.Taehyung was determined to give it to Jungkook and he gave his all.But at the end, Jungkook left him.....without giving any explanation!

After two days, Taehyung left the country.He felt as if he died a thousand times in the span of just a month.He didn't expect things would turn out this way.He never thought Jungkook would leave him just like that.In the last two days, Taehyung cried hard, he screamed in agony, he let everything inside him go out.

Because of letting everything go and accepting how reality slapped him hard even when he did nothing wrong, Taehyung found himself turning into a completely different person in the next few months.He solely focused on his studies and work, trying to help people in need.He never stopped being respectful and polite but he never felt the need to have someone in his life anymore.He was too broken to give love a second change.Taehyung wanted to live life on his own now.He promised himself to not go and take any risk of breaking himself again.

Three years....It took Taehyung almost three years to become an extremely professional man.He became an workaholic which helped him to become famous soon.So many people approached him because of his attractive looks and even more attractive personality.Taehyung denied everyone saying he wants to focus on his career only.

Nearly a month ago, he got a call letter from South Korea, asking him to the best hospital in the country.At first, he thought of declining the offer but his heart was continuously telling him to accept it.He felt too restless remembering his life there but at last, he had to accept the offer, just for the sake of finding inner peace.

Before landing in South Korea, Taehyung consoled himself saying there was no way he would meet Jungkook there.Plus, leaving in his birth country, he would be able to help his people.He also wanted to visit the orphanage he was brought up in.He thought he would never have to cross path with his past again but oh, how wrong he was !

Seeing Jungkook on the very first day at his new workplace, that too looking so vulnerable, made Taehyung go crazy.He didn't know why the boy was sad.He wasn't even sure if it was because of seeing him after three long years.But he wanted to console the boy so much.It was nearly impossible to continue the meeting after feeling overwhelmed with so many emotions at once.But Taehyung couldn't show anything there.He was just glad that he somehow managed to continue the meeting and now got out of the room.At least, he wasn't feeling suffocated now.

Taehyung doesn't know how he will be able to work as the head of the department where Jungkook works at.He never knew fate could be that cruel to him but at the same time, his heart was feeling completely soothed after he saw Jungkook.It was so complicated....

"Awe..."

Taehyung stopped walking when a cute voice suddenly squeaked near him.He abruptly look down to see a toddler rubbing it's nose cutely.Taehyung realized that he accidentally bumped into the child who might have gotten hurt because of crashing on his left leg.

"H-hey, bub... I'm really sorry....Are you okay?" Taehyung crouched down to the level of the kid immediately.He panicked thinking he hurt the baby.

"I-I'm okay...." The kid who was still busy rubbing his nose finally looked up at Taehyung.

Taehyung, however felt out of breath when he saw the baby's face.His widened eyes stared at the pair of eyes which resembled the ones Taehyung sees whenever he checks himself the mirror.The baby too looked at him in fascination, as if he was in awe.

"I-I know you...." The baby suddenly smiled widely, looking at Taehyung with sparkling eyes and Taehyung could swear, he has seen such sparkles before.... in a certain male's doe eyes...

Taehyung, once again felt his breathing stopped when he looked at the boxed shaped smile of the kid.He didn't know why the kid looked so similar to him.Taehyung is a famous doctor.Of course, he knows how a child can look like their parents.But this was different.The kid he accidentally met had so many similarities with his looks that he was astonished.Even the little one has the boxy smile which is obviously a unique trait in Taehyung.

It was strange how the unknown kid looked like a miniature version of him!

"H-how d-do you know me?" Taehyung gulped the lump forming inside his throat and asked.

"Papa has your pi- pic-....oh...pictures..." The kid pouted heavily while he tried to pronounce the words perfectly.

"W-who is your papa?" Taehyung asked, looking at the boy with so many emotions.He didn't know why he was feeling so overwhelmed all of a sudden.May be, because he saw Jungkook earlier, that too not in a good state?

But he knew, it was not the only reason.He strangely felt a strong pull towards the kid in front of him.He has seen or talked to many kids before as he has always loved them.But this particular kid stole his heart at just one glance.Taehyung just wanted to hug him tightly, closer to where his heart is !

"My papa is Je-"

"Oh My God.....why did you come out of the room...." A loud, high pitch voice interrupted the baby from saying further.

Taehyung looked up only to see a young nurse who had a panicked look on her face.The girl visibly relaxed when see saw the kid safe.

"I was bored alone....a-and missed papa..." The little one pouted, trying to show how upset he was.

"Your papa is searching for you now.Let's go to him okay?" The nurse spoke softly as she scooped the kid up in her arms.

The nurse smiled at Taehyung apologetically before she started walking away with the baby in her arms.Taehyung felt his heart ache at the thought of not seeing the baby again.He didn't know why he felt that odd feeling in his heart just by glancing at the toddler.He couldn't even utter a word and just stood there silently, noticing the little one going away from him.

But soon he felt like his heart would leap out of his chest any moment, he gasped, trying to breath properly.Few teardrops left his almond eyes as his face twitched in pain.He didn't know his first day here would turn out like that...he didn't know the whole day would make him stand right in front of the past he was trying hard to run away from......

Everything made sense to him now !

His puzzled thoughts found the correct direction now !

How could he not suspect it?

It is true?

Do his thoughts make any sense ?

Taehyung's whole body stopped working as he stared at the toddler who was smiling brightly, still looking at him.....Taehyung chocked on a sob hearing the few words the kid shouted towards his direction.....

"Taeggukie will see you soon...."
