《Save Me [Zarry]》Drop A Hint

"Stars, hide your fires; let not light see my black and deep desires..." I recited from my script, trying my best to imitate Macbeth.

"And that's it for today! That was amazing Louis and Eleanor! Thank you for demonstrating for us," our Drama teacher continued. "Now students, you will all be performing pieces of various plays as your assignment for next week. I will pick your partners."

I raised my hand. "Who'll be my partner Miss Elliot?"

"You chose Eleanor as your partner in the act today so she can be for the assignment as well, or anyone you like Louis."

"Okay thanks!" I cheered mentally. The perks of being the president of Drama Club: the Drama teacher loves you.

I spotted Eleanor picking her stuff up and went over to her. "So, that was quite some acting by you today," I started, smiling at her.

"Uh-huh, thanks," she nodded with a small smile.

"So Eleanor, I have a few ideas of what pieces we can do for the assignment," I smirked. I knew exactly which ones I was gonna pick.

Eleanor gave me a yeah, sure stare. "I don't think so, carrot. You leave the selecting to me and we'll meet at the school to practice, yeah? Not at each other's houses. Got that?" Damn this girl was sassy.

"Okay okay. I accept. We'll practice at the— wait! Why'd you call me a carrot?"

"You're hair is red isn't it?"

Um... so? "Fair enough."

"See you around," she nodded and went outside the auditorium doors. I somewhat stalkerishly followed her. I pouted when she met that guy from the lacrosse team, Andy Samuels and walked to him with class,— might I add —a little too close for 'just friends.'

Damn it! No wonder she's resisting me. But no one can resist this! Eleanor is one tough chick. And hot. I shrugged and went to the fountain outside where I knew my friends would be.

"What's new, peasants?"

Dani arched an eyebrow. "Did you just call us peasants?" I nodded childishly.

"That's not nice Boo Bear!" Harry teased, knowing how much I hated that nick name.

"What? Boo Bear?!" Niall asked with a snicker.

"Yeah, my mum calls me that. Its just so—"

"Cute!" Niall finished and I rolled my eyes but smiled.

"Yeah, I guess." I smiled back. Harry and Dani exchanged a smirk, then nodded and got up.

"We, uh we have to uh, go to—" Harry started.

"Go do our homework!" Dani finished with a large grin. Harry just gave her a really look and she shrugged.

"Meet you two after class. Bye!"

"I swear those two are up to something," I muttered and I think I saw Niall blush out of the corner of my eye.

I fully turned to the Irish bloke. "So you went to Harry's yesterday?"

"Uh, yeah. Taught him the guitar. He's a natural. And he sings like a professional!"

"Wait, wait? He sung in front of you?!" Wow. Harry barely sings in front of us. We've only heard him once or twice. He's quite secretive of his talent. He keeps it like what it is; a valuable gem. Wrapped up and occasionally shown to people.

"Yeah he did. Why, doesn't he?" Niall was confused.

"He doesn't sing much in front of people. He must really trust you then," I told him and he grinned proudly.

So apart from Harry, we talked about a lot of things. Niall and I had gotten along pretty much from the first day and we learnt we had a lot more in common. Like, video games. I mean the lad knew everything about almost every video game known to a teenager! And video games were my hobby, acting was my passion.

I asked him if he was going to Zayn Malik's party of the year and he answered that he'll go if I'll go. Of course, we'd all go together with him. We're the only friends he has here so far. And I do hope El agrees to go with me and not that Andy bloke.

When the bell rung, there was still no sign of Harry and Dani. So me and Niall went to our next class. Niall was suddenly in a grumpy mood. Must be an Irish thing.

It was just so damn easy to talk to Louis about anything. Anything, except one thing.

How does one ask this without embarrassing oneself?

Should I just straight out ask him out on a date? Should I drop hints? Should I ask him if I'm his type? God what the hell do I do?!

Harry and Dani had told me that Louis has never dated anyone seriously, just flings. But with girls only. And those two also advise me to make a move on their best friend. But I'm not good at making moves!

God! Why couldn't I've just liked Harry? That would've been easy. Why? 'Cos I already know he's likes guys.

Harry and Dani sure are sneaky. The mofos had purposely left me alone with Louis, just like Harry had told me that day at his house; that they'll try their best to get me to talk to Lou and find out about him.

We talked a lot about many things like sports and stuff. Louis also asked if I was going to Zayn Malik's party and I replied that I'd go only if he'll go, trying to flirt and maybe, like Dani had advised.

But he said that we'll all go together and he hoped that Eleanor would go with him. I didn't know if he was kidding or not. But I was damn frustrated at that point.

Louis is just so dense! He just can't see Eleanor isn't interested. And he can't see that I am. God!

The bell rung and Louis sprung up to go to class. I followed behind, pouting.
