《Hybrid's Possession: Possessive Alpha's Book 1》Catching Up

Ellie
I haven't let my mothers' hands go. I feel like if I release her, she'll disappear, and I'll never see her again. A part of me feels like this could be a dream, and I'll be waking up any moment. So, I must find out everything.
"I cannot believe you've been alive all this time." My mother cries, "I swear I saw you laying on the ground in a pool of blood that night, I wanted to go to you so bad. I just kept focusing on you through the entire ordeal. Every horrible thing they did I just focused on you." She keeps touching my face. I think she feels that if she doesn't, I may disappear on her.
"Kayden made it seem that way to protect me. He said they did horrible things to you, and I'm so sorry. I'm sorry it continued all these years."
"Don't be honey, it's not your fault. It's the monster's fault. They are not men, but demons." She tells me everything. All the things she has gone through for the last sixteen years. Not in detail, but the basics of what she endured.
What I make of it is she has had a horrible, difficult, and painful ordeal. However, I can say my mother is one strong woman. I don't think I'd be able to withstand the things that monster had put her through.
She smiles at how outraged and pissed off I am on her behalf. Telling me I have my father's temper. That makes me laugh. She tells me all about my father, all about their past before I came along, and our past after. Cannot believe I finally get to see my biological mother. It's a dream come true.
"Ellie," Martin interrupts us. He looks saddened, and beyond stressed. Almost as though he's aged twenty years. Although that's not possible being as he's a vampire.
"I'm sorry, I know you're catching up, but Kayden." His voice breaks, and I know something is wrong.
Standing up, I take my mother's arm with me. I go to apologize, but she brushes me off and stands up with me. Liz on my other side.
"You may want to talk with him Ellie. He's taking this hard, knowing that in a matter of minutes we must go to the Realm of the Dark Fae. I think he's beating himself up over putting you at this risk." He gives me a sad smile.

Turning to my mother, I go to ask if she'd mind, but she beats me to it. "Go to him, I'll be right here, with your friend Liz talking everything about you." She gives me a genuine smile.
Giving her one back, I pat her hand, and walk away down the hall to his office. When I knock, I don't get an answer, so I just open the door. Kayden is standing in front of his window, his face in his hands.
Slowly I walk towards him, when I reach his back, I wrap my arms around him. Faster then I can see, he turns around and backs me up against his desk. He looks at me, and I can see all his emotions lit up in his eyes.
He's pissed off with himself and aggravated at the situation. He's sad that he can't protect me from all of this, that I must participate. Most importantly I see fire, his fire that burns for me. I reach out to take ahold of that fire.
Let it burn me, I don't care. He can douse me in gasoline and burn me up in flames. He must see how I feel because the next moment his mouth is attacking mine. His tongue is in my mouth, playing with mine for dominance.
We don't bother with undressing, he just lifts the skirt I am wearing, pulls my underwear to the side, and plunges in. How he got his pants down without me realizing I have no idea.
His thrusts are erratic. Conveying all his emotions into his movements. Taking all his aggression he is feeling in this moment and pouring it into my body. Spreading my legs wide, I welcome all he must give me.
Within minutes, he's hollering with his release. When his essence enters my body, I scream out in an intense orgasm. Both our bodies spasm with our release. We take a minute or two for us to calm down.
Once our bodies have calmed, and our breathing is normal once again, he helps me straighten my clothes. He zips his pants back up and helps with my hair. He brings my body into his and wraps me in his arms. We stay like this for a while.
"We need to discuss where we are going, and the precautions we have to take when we get there." He says into my hair.

Nodding I listen as he tells me all about the Realm of the Dark Fae. How the forests there are filled with lies. I may hear voices whispering to me, I am not to listen. There may be the most beautiful flowers I've ever seen I am not to touch. They could kill me with one prick.
There are certain parts that once we get there I must never go to. I could get lost and stay that way forever. The Dark Fae themselves are some of the most beautiful creatures I will ever see. They can manipulate my mind and control my thoughts if I let them.
Kayden says he will give me all the potions and spells needed to stay safe. He will show me how to block them out, so they cannot get into my mind at all. He tells me not to worry because he, my mother, Liz, Keith, Joshua, Martin, and Tony will be with me the entire time.
Now that I know a little more about where we are going, and of the Dark Fae I must admit I'm terrified. A huge part of me doesn't want to go and understands that's why his father went there.
His father is half Dark Fae and half Vampire. He comes from the oldest blood line with both. Meaning he is very powerful, but no match for his son or myself. That's why he needs the Realm, so he has the most of his strongest power available.
"Kayden," Joshua is at the door. He gives him a look, and I know they are talking telepathically. They nod to one another, and Kayden brings his eyes back to me.
"Everything is ready there. The werewolves and vampires have gone. All that's left is us." He looks deep into my eyes and wipes a tear that has run down my cheek.
Hadn't even known I started to cry. I'm trying to be brave, but the fact is I'm scared. Of what could happen to the people I love and care about. How will they all be protected?
Kayden smiles at me, "baby girl we have been trained since we were all small children. Joshua, Tony, Martin and I are very well prepared." He winks at me making me smile.
"What about Liz, Keith and me? We are not very well trained. I don't even know how to use any of my powers." I worry my lip with my teeth. A nervous habit of mine.
"Keith can fight some I've seen it; Liz is a very powerful witch. I don't even know if you understand what blood line she comes from." He gives me a questioning look.
"I know most of the things Liz can do, and yes she can fight. I've gone to some of her Karate classes with her." I look up at him and he gives me a knowing smile.
"I'm just scared for them. For us all honestly." He puts my hair behind my ear.
"I know you are baby, but you have to trust me. To know I won't let anything happen to you." He captures my eyes with his. I give him a nod and place my head on his chest. Listening to his heartbeat, allowing the rhythm to calm me.
He kisses the top of my head, and when I pull away, he takes my hand and leads me down the hall. We go up the stairs to the door I always noticed but could never open. It's always locked, and not a single soul went in there.
I see Tony, Joshua, Martin, Liz, my brother Keith, the older man with the white hair, and my mother all standing there waiting for us. When he takes out a key, that has what looks to be a demon face on the top, he unlocks the door. Looking to me he gives me a smile and takes my hand.
"Ready?" He asks.
Everyone nods their heads. Liz moves to stand behind me, as my mother moves to my other side. Taking my other hand, she brings it to her lips and gives me light kiss. She smiles at me, "don't be afraid honey we are all here."
Smiling at her, I look at everyone in the hall. My family and friends that will fight by our sides. Helping us take the evil monsters out of our world for good. I look to Kayden and nod my head. He opens the door, and we all walk through. Here goes nothing.
