Chapter 18: Rescue
You had just taken a shower that morning, and was now heading downstairs for some breakfast. You pushed your wet hair away from your eyes, as you climbed down the stairs. Just as you were about to enter the kitchen, the smell of bacon and eggs filled your nose and you rolled your eyes, knowing that you wouldn't be able to cook food again today.
Ever since Jay showed his true colours, Jay wouldn't allow you to do any cooking in the house, since he was afraid that you might try to take a knife and either hurt him or yourself. You rolled your eyes once again, you weren't stupid that you'd take your own life because of Jay, but hurting Jay was a plan that appealed more to you.
You entered the kitchen and sat on the stool as you watched Jay move around the kitchen. Jay was a very handsome boy, and if he wasn't as insane as he was, you probably would have fallen in love with him, but that plan was way out the window after he had killed both of your friends and kept you hostage in your own home.
Jay, now noticing your presence, looks at you and smiles, "Good morning love, did you have a nice sleep."
You send Jay a fake smile back, and nod your head.
After a few more minutes, Jay grabs two plates and places one in front of you and another in front of him. You look down at your plate to see eggs, beans and bacon. Your stomach grumbled at the sight and you didn't waste any time before digging in.
Jay chuckled at you as he watched you devour your food while he ate his slowly. You had finished your food and was about to get up to wash your plate when Jay stopped you.
"It's okay, I'll take it." He says as he grabs your plate and stacks it on top of his.
You shrug your shoulders and turn around to walk into the living room but stop when you felt a hand on your wrist. You turn around to see Jay staring at your face.
"What?" You ask confused.
He doesn't say anything, but instead pulls you closer to him so that you were a few inches away from each others faces.
You blush at the closeness and try to pull away but Jay stops you.
"Jay, what are you doing?"
Jay lifts his hand up to your face and you close your eyes, you didn't want to see what he'd do. It was when you felt a finger on the corner of your lips, did you then open your eyes to see Jay staring at you intently.
You watch as he moves his finger, revealing some red sauce that was once on your mouth, towards his mouth. You watch as he opens his mouth and sucks his finger, causing you to blush even more.

Jay lets out a small groan, "That was delicious, but you know what else would be more tastier?" He asks, but before you could respond, he smashes his lips onto yours.
Shocked, you freeze as you feel his lips against yours. Once you realised what was happening, you felt disgusted at the fact that a murderer was kissing you. You found your strength and push him away from you, causing him to stumble backwards.
"What the hell what that for?" You scream as you rub your lips with your sleeve.
"Oh love, that was amazing, why'd you pull away?" Jay smirks as he moves closer to you.
"NO! Stop! Stay away from me!" You scream as you stumble backwards as Jay laughs, "Your a jerk! That my was first kiss you asshole!"
Your eyes widen when you realised what you said, and wanted to smack yourself for saying that to him. You watch as Jay's smirk grows, "Oh really, I'm honoured to be the first kiss of my love." He chuckles as he approaches you.
You scream at him to stay away from you but he doesn't listen, you throw different things at him but he doesn't stop. Once he reached you, he slammed you onto the wall behind you and grabbed both of your wrists and pinned them above your head.
You struggled against him, but Jay didn't seem affected as he simply gazed upon you with adoration, "My sweet (Y/N), look how beautiful you look in this position." He says as he caresses your cheek with his hand.
You try to pull away, but you couldn't as Jay was holding you in place, "I love you (Y/N)! I love you so much it hurts!" He screams as he laughs.
You freeze at his confession and stare at him with fear as he laughs manically. You stare into his once warm, brown eyes, that now had a crazed look in it.
"Don't you love me back (Y/N)? Why not? Is there someone else? No ones allowed you, your mine! Do you hear me? YOUR MINE!" He screams as he tries kissing you again but you struggle against him while crying.
"Love, stop struggling. I promise you, you will find pleasure in what we're about to do." Jay coos as you feel sick to your stomach about what he was implying.
You shake your head at him, tears falling down your cheeks as Jay once again leaned down to kiss you, but before he could, the doorbell rang.
You both freeze, as you hear someone banging on the door, "POLICE! OPEN UP!" You hear a voice yell. Your eyes widen and you feel a sense of relief overcome you at the words.
Jay moves away from you and mumbles out curses, you take this opportunity to run away from him, but you were too slow. Jay grabbed you by the wrist and pulled you towards him. He held you against his chest as you struggled.

"Why is the police here!" Jay screams at you whilst glaring at you, "Was it that Kevin boy? I knew I should have killed him when I had the chance." Jay mumbled, distracted.
You took this as a chance to pull away from him and run to the other side of the room, you turn to look at Jay who was glaring at you, while you sent him a smirk.
"Ever heard of morse code?" You question mockingly as Jays eyes widen in realisation.
Flashback
Just then, an idea popped into your head, you lift your hand up and place it higher up onto the door, before tapping it a few times.
Kevin stares at your fingers for a few more seconds, as you continue to tap, he looks at your face to see you smiling at him. He stares at you for a few more seconds before shaking his head at you playfully.
"Well, now that I know your alive." Kevin says in a joking manner, "I should get going, I've got a job interview to get to."
You smile at your best friend and wish him good luck before he leaves, but not before you both exchange eye contact as he turns around and you close the door.
End of Flashback
"I'm glad me and Kev took that extra morse code class last year, guess it does come in handy, huh?" You question Jay mockingly with a grin.
You watch as Jay's expression changed from a glare to panicked in seconds, you watch as he grips his hair in his hands and pulls it while muttering to him self, "No, no, no ,no, NO!"
The banging on the door from the police continued, and you knew they'd end up breaking it soon.
Jay's eyes flicker towards the door and you before they settle on something behind you, just as you were about to turn around, the front door burst open, and a dozen police filed in, "Hands up now!"
You turn to look at the police, relief flooding in you, as you were about to walk up to them, you felt something sharp press against your neck.
You freeze in your steps as you felt an arm wrap around you, "Nobody moves, or I kill her." Jay yells from behind you, as he keeps you in place.
Your eyes widen, as you feel yourself shaking. Jay had a knife against you and there was nothing you could do.
"Let the girl go!" One of the policemen ordered as he pointed a gun towards us.
"Put the gun down, or I'll kill her!" Jay replied coldly as he pressed the knife against you harder, causing you to whimper.
"Jay please..." You whisper fearfully.
Jay ignores you as he glares at the police officers in front of you, "I said drop your guns, or I'll kill her."
The police officers all give each other a look before slowly lowering their guns. You watch with fearful eyes as they glare at Jay.
You could practically hear Jay smirking, as he laughed, "Good, now if anyone of you moves, just know the girl is going to be dead." Jay says as he slowly walks backwards, you in his hold.
Tears run down your cheek as you beg Jay to stop, but he ignores you as he continues walking backwards. It was then you noticed something moving from the corner of your eyes, you didn't do or say anything as Jay continued pulling you backwards.
"Now, I'm going to be leaving with the girl, if any of you follow, it won't be good for anyone." Jay states as he nears the door. His grip on you loosens as he tries to open the door, but before he could reach the handle, you heard a loud BANG!, coming from behind you.
You felt the knife against your throat being removed, you took this as a chance and moved away from Jay to see him clutching onto his head, his teeth clenched. He looked at you once last time before his eyes closed and his boy went limp onto the ground.
You gasp before moving backwards, not wanting him to touch you. You look up to see who it was that saved you, only to be met with the comforting smile of your best friend, Kevin.
"Kevin!" You cry out as you launch yourself into his arms. He holds you tightly against him and he whispers comforting words into your ears, "You safe now (Y/N)."
You continue to cry as you watch a police officer place handcuffs on Jay's hands before pulling his unconscious body out the door.
A police officer walks up to you and Kevin and gives you a warm smile, "Hi, my name is Officer Delle." She greets, "Now I understand that what you went through was traumatising, but we will have to ask you some questions when you have calmed down. Is that alright?"
You nod your head at her as she smiles once again, "We're also going to have to ask if you can find somewhere else to stay, for the time being."
You nod your head at her once again, but then realise you don't have anywhere else to go. You were about to open your mouth to tell the police officer that when Kevin interrupted you, "She can stay with me for now."
You look up to see Kev smiling at you gently, you send a smile back before nodding at Officer Delle, who turned to look at you for confirmation.
She nods at you before telling you both to step outside for the questioning. Still in his arms, Kevin takes you outside and pulls you into another hug.
"Your safe now (Y/N)." He whispers comfortingly and he rubs your back.
You nod your head at him, "I'm safe." You whisper back.
