Exponential Mana Regeneration
When the Change occurred, humanity suddenly found itself with superhuman constitutions and the ability to use mana. All the government leaders had known about it beforehand and had made an announcement, so there was little strife and instead excitement to loot the dungeons that the Change had created. Kyle Anders was incredibly excited when he saw his starting skill, called Exponential Mana Regeneration, but his excitement quickly waned when he realized it was almost useless with his starting mana pool of twenty. He had nearly given up hope on being a mage when his family got him a new skill for his 18th birthday. Suddenly, with his mana pool expanded because of the skill, Kyle’s mana regeneration shot through the roof. But while humanity worked hard to loot dungeons and increase their skills and stats, Change was coming, and peace cannot last forever. The story is currently on haitus. (This story is a work in progress. As the first story that I have ever written, the beginning, especially the first ten chapters or so, needs heavy editing. I have decided to continue writing the story instead of going back and editing the beginning. I hope that despite all its flaws you will still find my story enjoyable.)

A single promise shook eternity’s existence. — Fantasy || Adventure || Romance || Action || Mystery || Drama || Science Fiction — The My World To Live (MWTL) series, the alternative short name is Canaan, is comprised of three books symbolically named My World, To Live, and My World To Live. Two years prior, the entire story had been planned and detailed out from start to finish before actual writing. Thus, the story will never be dropped. While the genre is largely Fantasy, the book is comprised of many other elements including a School Life (Magic Academy) story portion. MWTL has a lot of scattered symbolism and allusions, hence, the mystery aspect. The science fiction elements progressively become more pronounced, and the slow romance is a late bloomer. The female lead is strong and independent, and her backstory and identity unravel as drivers of the plot. Expect lots of action/fighting throughout and scattered philosophical and psychological themes arising. It's a human journey to find the essence of one's living and purpose. RR was the first writing platform that I ever felt accomplished to any small degree, so I am forever grateful to it. The Connections
In the beginning Humanity and energy lived as one. Humanity harvested pure matter from the environment to feed this energy and in return this energy gave the host an unique ability to help it survive, this symbiosis was called "The Connections". As humanity grew more prosperous and advanced in culture, so did the Connection's bond which could only be established through a moment of original creativity. Life on Toreoth was ideal, until the social hierarchy collapsed. This collapse was caused by humanity, which had expended nearly all of its original creativity. With this loss humanity lost the Connection as well. As the years pass, the connection get's established in fewer and fewer people, until one fateful day when the connection was severed entirely, but before that happened the connection was connection was established in one person named Zach Carter. Given orders by the very connection itself, Zach and his friends must find and replenish the three source crystals that give the connection it's power and save humanity before a deadly sickness wipes humanity from existence.

The clash between the great Saudi Empire and the Brazilian Alliance is reaching its climax. As the bombs fall signifying the end, many people find themselves in an unknown environment. Confused, naked and unarmed the newcomers are attacked by vicious beasts and must work together to survive in this new unknown world. Note: Short chapters. There are only small elements from VR/RPGs, the focus is definitely on the world and characters and not stats / grinding.
