"Hiro, did you wanna sleep in my room?" you asked, plopping your keys down on the bench with a stretch.
"I don't think kenma would like that would you bud?" Hiro nudged the boy next to him who had pursed lips.
"...shut up" he murmured, walking to his room with his suitcase in hand as you giggled.
"I'll sleep on the couch tonight, I'm just gonna be sewing. you can sleep in my room" you have the boy a pat on the head, walking behind the counter to get something to eat.
"you sure?" Hiro asked, cocking his brow.
you gave a hum in response, closing the fridge after not finding anything you wanted.
"I'm gonna bring my sewing shit out then you can set your stuff up in there" you explained, walking to your room to get the stuff.
it was around 2 in the morning and you weren't tired at all. you just decided because you weren't gonna go to sleep straight away that you would just listen to music whilst making a new dress.
rolling the table out, Hiro moved out of the way with a yawn, thanking you and walking to your room with a yawn whilst you sat on the couch, grabbing your AirPods from the bag that was on your side.
"you're not gonna sleep?" a sudden voice called making you jump a bit.
"no, I'm not tired" you smiled at the boy who gave a nod in response, walking over to sit next to you with his switch in hand.
"what are you gonna make?" he asked, sitting with his legs crossed on the couch.
"okay wait look, so I have some references!" you smiled, pulling your phone out and handing him an airpod so he could listen to music with you whilst you open Pinterest.
"so there's... these 4 I was thinking of, take your pick" you explained, showing him the 3 dresses with a smile.
you handed him the phone to let him take a look.
"I like all of them, do you think you would do all of them?" kenma asked, turning to you as he focused on the red one.
"of course, that would be over time though. I'm planning on making a dress shop or something like that when I'm finished college... I think it would be fun" you explained, turning to the blonde boy who had a faint smile on his face.

"I think it'll be fun if you did too" he chuckled, handing you the phone with a smile.
"I like (the number you chose)" kenma explained as you look at the dress with a nod.
"I do too"
"y/n?"
"yes?" you responded, flicking the switch to the sewing machine on as you went to sit back down.
"do you think we'll last?"
you sighed, turning to him with furrowed brows. "do you love me?" you asked with a smile, looking at his anxious face.
"I do..."
"then let's not think about the future, let's think about the present. we have so much time together, were only young... if you find someone else, I'll be happy for you. I won't hold a grudge because that's the way life goes"
"I know, sorry" he have you a smile as you rest your head on his shoulder.
"Are you feeling tired?" he asked, grabbing your hand to hold it. the sound of his heart beating was comforting, the sound of his voice sounded so soft and welcoming. well sometimes...
"I'm not, you should head to bed though" you got up and started to dig around in your bag for your thread.
"I should... I have to stream tomorrow" kenma sighed, getting up with a grunt. you felt a pair of hands wrap around your waist, the feeling of kenmas breathing on your neck. it made you get chills as your face turned red.
"get some sleep soon" kenma muttered, kissing you on the neck before letting go to go back to his bedroom.
the problem was, you couldn't sleep. you didn't feel tired let alone hungry. you always felt tired and hungry so what the fuck?
'is it jet lag? it has to be... but the time zones aren't even that different and it was only a 2 hour flight.
you scattered back into your room quietly, making sure not to wake Hiro who was sprawled out on your bed.
grabbing your mannequin, you waddled out of your room, closing the door quietly behind you before you sat back down on the couch, grabbing the measuring tape, your laptop, a pair of scissors and needle and thread.
time raced by faster than expected when you checked the time for the first in... 5 hours?

it was 7 in the morning and you still weren't, luckily nobody was gonna wake up until later later. you looked down at the dress realising.
'...a dress that would usually take 4-5 weeks has lasted 5 hours...?' you thought, lifting the dress and placing it on the mannequin.
"...shit, I'm so good at this..." you muttered, spinning the fake body around to get a better look at everything.
you grabbed your notebook and a pencil from the top part of your ear, adding stuff onto the dress by sketching to see if they looked good.
'gloves, pearl necklace or a diamond necklace would be good too, I have some rings... yes yes yes... I'll have to buy a tiara, heels, I can make heels...hmm-
Your thoughts suddenly got cut off by the sudden sound of a voice calling your name.
"y/n? why are you awake? it's so early" kenma murmured, walking up next to you with furrowed brows.
"I just woke up" you lied, your eyes avoiding contact with his.
"...no you didn't"
"proof?"
he went up to the sewing machine and touched it, feeling the burning sensation from the top.
"that's hot, has that been switched off?"
"of course, it has, because I've been sleeping"
"you don't have to lie"
"I work best at night!" you admitted, placing the notebook down at kenmas eyes switched from you to the mannequin behind you.
"you finished the dress? that would've taken like 4-5 weeks at most, did you even take a break?" he interrogated.
"...no" you muttered, feeling kenmas eyes looking at your hands that were covered in bandages.
"What happened there?" he asked, cocking a brow.
"do you know how Hard sewing is without stabbing your fingers a trillion times?" you giggled, holding your hand out for him to look at.
"you have to be careful, get some sleep now" kenma sighed, holding your hand with a soft, tired smile.
"But I'm not tired"
"it's been 7 hours since you last slept"
"so?"
"so?" he mimicked making you roll your eyes in response.
"get some sleep"
"can you sleep with me?" you asked, looking up at his golden eyes as they looked back at me.
"course I can" he smiled, letting go of your hand to turn the power switch off, wheeling the table and mannequin away to the side with a yawn.
"we'll clean it when we wake back up"
the 2 of you went into kenmas room, jumping on his bed and snuggling into the blankets as kenmas wrapped his arms around you.
'im still not tired...' you thought with a sigh, looking at kenmas body whilst he closed his eyes and slowly drifted back off to sleep. you just lay there, mind blank with a bored expression.
'Why can't I sleep?' you thought, tracing the lines of kenmas toned body whilst a million thoughts flooded back into your mind.
"y/n, get some sleep" kenma muttered, the feeling of your finger tracing his abs made him shiver.
"sorry kitty" you giggled, moving your hand away.
the chain he was wearing caught your attention, it was hot... you found the whole chain thing unattractive on most people but on kenma, it looked perfect.
you unconsciously started to fiddle with it, sewing your fingers through it mesmerised you, the scent of him had caught you in a trance that you wished never ended.
"y/n, your knee" kenma said in a slightly whiney voice, his eyes squeezed shut. you lifted the blanket to see your knee rubbing against his crouch, the imprint that was seen through his sweats making you give an awkward smile.
"I'm sorry, I didn't know my knee was there!" you whispered up to the boy who had his hand covering the bottom half of his face, eyes looking down at you as his brows arched.
"it's fine, get some sleep..." he spoke through his hand.
you removed it from his face, rubbing his cheek softly with an apologetic smile.
slowly going up to his lips to give him a little kiss on the nose.
"have a good sleep kitty" you smiled up at the blushing boy, resting back down between his arm and chest.
"you too baby" he muttered back, hugging you closer as you just closed your eyes. you didn't even fall asleep, that bothered you a lot but you chose to ignore it, thinking it was just the jet lag.

One to wander the realm in search of power, to protect themselves and what they believe in. They know their path to be the only one. Writers note: The first chapter will set the standard in terms of mood for the remainder of the story. It also comes to no surprise to me that half the people who read the first part stop reading any further. It has quite a bit of the good ‘ol ‘ultra-violence’ mixed with a great deal of realism. As much as I could fit into it from my own knowledge and experience in the elite forces. The first few chapters will be slow, after, but starting from ‘Restless Destroyer’ the remainder of the world will start to open up, and when we hit ‘Adronitis’ the prologue is largely finished. The novel is well thought out and filled with hidden lore, culture, history. So even if my word choice appears random – it’s not. There is a reason why these chapters take as long as they do. Vermodalen is fantasy adventure, with magic and heroics in an as realistic setting as I could fit. Things are rarely what they seem, and the ugly nature of people bleed through the letters at the turn of every page. I hope you can give this story a fair chance, even if it isn’t immediately to your taste. Lastly, english isn't my first language. It isn't my second one either. So, if you find errors in grammer and spelling, wordplay and sentance building, do let me know, and you will be rewarded by a surge of dopamine that will be released inside your brain for helping someone whom you haven't even seen or heard.

Romeo and Juliet
Romeo and Juliet is a tragedy written by William Shakespeare early in his career about two young star-crossed lovers whose deaths ultimately reconcile their feuding families. It was among Shakespeare's most popular plays during his lifetime and along with Hamlet, is one of his most frequently performed plays. Today, the title characters are regarded as archetypal young lovers.Cover done by @zuko_42
