《Blue - My 8 Brothers》Rose: Chapter 9

"Okay! You are not gonna freak out, alright?", Alex asked as he pulled down the blanket from my face.
I opened one eye and peaked out at his face. He still looked sleepy.
I slowly nodded for him to continue.
"TODAY IS YOUR FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!", he yelled in my ears, ever so loudly.
I suddenly bounced from my bed and looked at him wide eyed, "OH MY GOD! TODAY IS THE FIRST DAY OF MY SCHOOL!".
"YAY YAY YAY",we both yelled as Alex jumped on my bed up and down and I also stood up and joined him.
"Look at this, my little Rose all grown up", he said while wiping a fake tear from his face.
"Okay now get out of my room, drama queen. I need to get ready", I said pushing him away towards the door.
"But-", I shut the door on his face before he could finish.
----------
I think I looked decent enough for the first day of my school.
I wore a baby blue hoodie with pink ripped jeans and white shoes. I left my hair untied. I didn't do any makeup, just a little lip gloss.
"Rose, I need to talk to you", Alex said as he twisted his fingers, an action he did when he was very nervous.
"What is it?", I asked him.
"Okay, so I am not supposed to tell you this. Riley and Elijah will probably kill me, so plan my funeral already. I am only telling you this because the Twin Oath bounds us both to tell each other everything and never keep secrets", he took a deep breath.
"You're scaring me Alex".
He bought his hand out and handed me something.
"Please don't freak out, please don't freak out, please please please don't freak outtttttt", he chanted as he put extra pressure on the last word.

I looked at the thing. It was a... newspaper?
I looked at the front page. My eyes widened.
"What is this!", I whisper yelled.
Alex scratched the back of his neck,"Look, you already know that our family is one of the richest families in America. Maybe even the whole world.
So it's obvious that people follow us, most likely everywhere.
So when you, Elijah and Julian went to the mall, people must have clicked pictures and leaked it to the press", he finished with a guilty look.
I looked at the front page again. It was a picture of me, Lijah and Lian, laughing in the cafe. The headlines were 'New obsession of the Wests?'.
I looked at other pages.
'Who knew one of the richest men in the world could be pedophiles?'
'Are The West Brothers into polyandry?'
'Is this girl just another pretty face or is something fishy brewing behind the gates of The West Mansion?'
Tears started flowing down my face as the newspaper fell from my hand.
"Shit, are you okay? Rose?", said Alex as he hugged me tightly.
"Never should've told you. Fuck the twin oath", I heard him mutter.
I laughed between tears, "No i'm fine. It's okay", I tried to assure him.
"No it's not. But don't worry, everything will be fine because tomorrow at your party, you will be officially introduced as the youngest West", he told me with a straight face.
"Wait, is media going to be there?", I asked him, hoping the answer would be no.
"Of course. But very limited, only a few reporters. And that's only because we wanna introduce you to the world little Rose.
"Okay", I nodded.
Inside I was freaking out.
----------
"Baby Rose, if you need anything at school, ask you brothers. Okay?", Riley asked me with a concerned look.

Elijah, Julian and Dean had the same look.
"It's okay. I am not going for a world war", I laughed.
"Yes you are. You are only 15", Dean pointed out.
"Almost 16", I corrected.
Dean rolled his eyes.
"Anyway, i'm taking her in my car", Chris announced.
"No way, she's coming with me", Rayan argued.
"But I thought I was taking her ",Chase pouted.
"But dude, you don't have a license. You'll be with me?", Rayan raised an eyebrow.
"Whatever ", Chase replied with a hand wave.
"Shut up Rayan, I am taking my Rose", Chris argued.
"No, you asshol-", before Rayan could finish, Elijah interrupted.
"Stop behaving like children. Chris you take her now, Rayan, you can bring her home. Now you both are even", Elijah finished.
Chris smirked at Rayan.
"But-"
"No buts Rayan. Or you won't be bringing her home either", Julian told him with a serious face.
"Fine", he muttered.
"Okay let's go", Chris stood up from his chair and left the breakfast table, heading towards the door.
------------
"If you need anything, you know where to find me little sister", Chris winked at me.
I rolled my eyes at him.
"That won't be necessary because she'll have me", Alex smiled savagely at Chris and dragged me out of the car.
"Rose, your friend from summer school will be here. She goes to the same school. Audrey, I think that's her name", Alex told me.
"What?"
"Yea. She's from LA. She went here before the summer school too", Alex told me.
"Oh".
"Aren't you happy? I thought she was your friend", Alex asked me.
"Well, she's not exactly my friend ", I told him honestly.
"What do you mean? ", he asked me, completely oblivious.
"Nothing. Lets go".
And we went inside.
------------
"Let's get your schedule", Alex told me.
"Okay ", I replied and we went towards the reception.
The place was so crowded that I ended up bumping hard into someone.
I fell down with a hard thud.
"Shit, are you okay Rose?", Alex asked as he came forwards and helped me up.
I touched my butt. It felt sour, "I'm fine, don't worry".
I looked at the person I bumped into. It was a girl. She looked nearly my height.
She stood up and used her hands to clean her clothes. Then she turned around to faced me.
"I'm so sorr-", the girl stopped mid sentence as her eyes widened.
My eyes widened, equally shocked.
"Elena"
