Just as I was about to ask him what's wrong, the door burst open and in came the people I least expected.

My foster parents.

"Oh my god! My poor baby", Gini came running towards me. I flinched. I could smell alcohol. Seemed like she hadn't drank in a few hours.

Alex seemed to notice this and spoke, "Mrs. Hore, I think you should let her rest for some time.

"Who the hell are you!", She spat. Her fake mask of love was already coming off.

"Don't worry sweetheart, the doctor already said our dear Blue is fine and we can take her home now", Jake said and I turned my attention towards him.

He smirked at me.

My eyes widened.

No! Please, please. I don't wanna go back with them.

I didn't even notice that tears were flowing down my cheeks.

"She's not going anywhere!", Mr. West's voice boomed through the small hospital room. I think his name was Elijah?

"What do you mean!", Jack glared at him.

"Do you have issues with your hearing Mr. Whore?", Julian snapped.

Jack's face turned red with anger, "she's my daughter and you can't fucking stop me from taking her home!",he seethed.

"Don't curse infront of her!", Cayden yelled at him.

"Please, don't take away my daughter from me. We love her so much", Gini said with teary eyes. She's a certified actress.

I wanted to vomit at their fake affection.

"You're a shame!", Chris glared at her.

"Do not talk to my wife like that!", Jack gave him a intimidating look. But Chris didn't look the least bit affected.

"You inhuman monster, tell me why do you think she flinches whenever someone goes near her!? Tell me why was she covered with untreated bruises and cuts all over her body when she was brought here!? Tell me why is she malnourished!?", Mr. Elijah asked him in a low yet very dangerous voice.

"I-I don't kn-know", Jack stuttered. He was scared, I had never seen him so scared before.

Gini seemed like she would pee in her pants any moment now.

"Sir, I think you should talk this out outside. You're stressing the patient. Please everyone, only one of you can stay here. Others must leave", the doctor told Mr. Elijah.

Elijah looked at me gave me a kind smile and walked out. Followed by everyone including my about-to-pee foster parents.

Alex was the one who stayed.

"I'm.. I'm sorry", he held my hand in his. Tears were flowing down his eyes.

"It's ok", I whispered.

"No, no it's not. I'm sorry you had to go through that and I'm sorry the way I treated you when I first met", he was sobbing.

"I already told you that I forgave you", I tried to give him a small smile.

"But that still doesn't justifies my actions. I owe you an explanation. I-I don't even know.. know why I treated you that way. My life has been such a mess, it's broken me. But I know that we're all broken somehow", he looked at my hands then at me.

"What are you-", he cut me off.

"Please, I need to tell you everything. So that everything will make sense to you in the end. But-but I need a promise. That you'll tell me everything. I'll tell you everything about my past and life. Then you tell me, okay?", He asked me.

"Okay. But You-you don't have to feel obliged to tell me anything. I don't want you be uncomfortable", I told him.

He gave me a small smile and started talking.
