Trix P.O.V
I phoned Sonic, Knuckles and Sticks to ask them if they wanted to eat a late lunch together at Meh Burger. They said they were already there eating and told us to join them. I left out the part about Shadow coming with us.
"Great! Now we just need to find Shadow." I said.
"I'm still not sure this is a good idea." Tails muttered.
"And I can clobber him for ruining Trix's shoulder!" Thalia said.
"I thought you wanted him to come along!" I said.
"Yeah, but everyone deserves a clobbering." Thalia said.
"We seriously need to work on your social skills." I said, shaking my head.
"How would you know any better?" she said.
"I don't think about beating people up all the time." I said, crossing my arms.
"Ugh! Fine! I won't beat Shadow up. But he does deserve it!" Thalia said.
"I thought you liked him. Weren't you the one who said he was misunderstood?" I asked.
"He's misunderstood but he deserves a clobbering." Thalia said bluntly.
"Ah. I see." I said.
"Would you happen to know where he lives by any chance?" Tails asked. Thalia fished into my pocket and pulled out a piece of paper.
"He wrote his phone number on a piece of paper and slipped it into your pocket." Thalia said.
"How could I not have noticed?" I asked, baffled. Shadow sure was sneaky.
"And why would he do that in the first place?" Tails asked.
"He wants you, or rather us, to call him because he's in love. He disgusts me.." she said, crossing her arms.
"You don't like anyone besides me, do you?" I asked.
"Nope. And even you drive me nuts sometimes." Thalia said.
"Thanks for the compliment." I mumbled sarcastically. I dialed Shadow's number in my phone and waited. It took him a good thirty seconds to pick up.
"Why, hello." he said at the other end of the phone, he said it in such a manner that I knew he was trying to be seductive but was failing miserably.

"My evil twin wants to meet you. Be at Meh Burger in five. Also, how did you know it was me?" I asked.
"I know everything." he said.
"I'm the only one who knows your number, aren't I?" I said before hanging up.
"That guy disgusts me." I said.
"But you were flustered when you first saw him." Tails said.
"That wasn't me." I said, nodding to Thalia. She smacked me.
"I thought he was fluffy! Besides, it was my thoughts translated into your reaction. You were always over dramatic and shy." she said.
"Fine, whatever you say." I said.
We strolled over to Meh Burger only to find Sonic and the gang battling Shadow.
"What's their deal?" I asked.
"You thinking what I'm thinking?" Thalia said.
"Of course. We're twins and we still have a strong neural connection. I know exactly what you're thinking but I don't agree." I said.
"Oh come on!" Thalia complained.
"No clobbering anyone." I said firmly. I marched right up to the two mid-battle and stood between them just as they were about to spin dash into each other.
"What the heck? Trix, get out of the way!" Sonic said.
"Let's all calm down. I invited Shadow to eat with us." I said.
"You didn't tell me he was going to be here!" Shadow and Sonic said in unison.
"See? You two are more alike than you thought!" I said, pulling them by the arm to a table.
"Whose side are you on?" both of them barked at the same time. They looked at each other and growled.
"Look, I don't want this anymore than you do but my deranged twin insists." I said.
"You mean you separated your twin from yourself in just a couple hours?" Sonic asked.
"It was simple, really. The results are pretty good if you ask me." I said, gesturing to Thalia.
"Woah, cool!" Sonic said.
"Stop looking at me as if I'm some weird machine!" Thalia said, raising her fist.

"Ah, she gets a bit edgy sometimes..." I said, rubbing the back of my neck.
"Edgy, who ya' calling' edgy?" she said, glaring at me.
"Well, maybe if you were a bit more cooperative and friendly, this whole lunch thing would be a lot easier! You say you want to have a peace-making lunch but then you act so difficult I'm pretty sure this thing is going to go down the drain! So if you can't be nice, how about you just shut your trap so you don't make things worse than they already are?!" I shouted. Everyone in the area had turned their heads to me but I didn't care. I was glaring daggers at Thalia.
"Again, remind me never to get on her bad side." Sonic said. Thalia looked taken aback.
"All right, I'll try to... socialize..." she said, barely a whisper. I closed my eyes and cooled down.
"Okay! Let's see how this lunch goes." I said, as if nothing had happened.
"Heh, sometimes I wonder if you were the aggressive one." Thalia joked.
"Well, for me it's just when I'm really angry. For you... It's pretty much around the clock." I said.
"Well, I can't argue." she said.
"Is she part of the team too?" Knuckles asked.
"No." Thalia and I said in unison.
"I knew you had an evil twin!" Sticks said.
"Geez! Stop with the hating." Thalia said.
Tails, Sticks, Amy and Knuckles didn't talk or eat much but Sonic, Shadow, Thalia and I were in enflamed arguments the whole time, Thalia usually siding with Shadow, which I found disturbing, considering the fact that she supposedly hated him.
When we'd finished our meals, I paid for everyone and we left the restaurant.
"Well that went... well..." I said.
"I knew this was a bad idea." Tails said. Shadow glared at him.
All the while, crazed fans were swarming around us, flirting with the boys and asking for our autographs.
"Can I clobber them?" Thalia asked.
"No." I said. I jumped when I felt a slap on my bottom. I whirled around in rage to find a tall, muscular man.
"What did you just do?" I said between my teeth.
"I'm Timmy Thunder. You might have heard of me. I'm Tommy Thunder's son." he said, trying to be suave.
"Thalia, you have permission to clobber this one." I said.
"Um... That won't be absolutely necessary, right? I mean-" Tails tried to reason with me.
"You're right. I'll clobber him myself." I said.
I drew my swords and the crowd backed away.
"Um... Maybe we should go home now." Tails said.
"Yeah, probably..." Sonic said, grabbing my arms from behind and dragging me away. Thalia grudgingly followed us.
"What was that all about?" Tails asked when I had calmed down.
"I'm very serious about people invading my private space or touching me. Molestation is a crime, you know. No matter who the person who does it is. I don't care if his dad is some big shot actor. He is breaking the law." I grumbled.
"It's ok. I understand. I've been harassed by a few girls lately too. I don't get how Sonic and Knuckles deal with them because they have much more of them." Tails said.
"Well, I know how to stand my ground." Sonic said.
"I'm strong and tall so I just wade through them most of the time." Knuckles said.
"I can do neither of those." Tails said glumly.
"It's ok, if it happens again, I'll protect you! So long as you keep molesters away for me." I said, the cheerfulness returning to me.
"Thanks." Tails said, smiling.

8 211A Will to Recognize
What do you think it takes to live? Is it strength? Power? Magic? Unparalleled intelligence? Or are they all mere accessories to the fact that life is irrelevant? Do you have what it takes to bear the burden of life? Does life even matter? I don't know, and to be frank, I am somehow alive; I was even able to function in society at one point. It frightens me to think no one else knows our purpose: not our parents, friends, or mentors. And I can't bring myself to surrender to any religion. But I do have a direction. A goal, one might say. My wish is to one day shout on top of the highest mountains, "Life doesn't frighten me!" But that won't happen. Because I died a long time ago. ... You're still here? That? Oh it was all in the script. You didn't think I'd actually say that cringey stuff, did you? ~Daniel
