''What's worse? Constantly lying or

hide the truth once?

Once a liar, always a liar?

However revealing the truth is never

as painful as discovering a lie.

Because no matter how hard you try,

you are going to get caught.

And your apology might actually be accepted

yet your trust will be denied...''.

you sure you don't want me to check your car? Something must have been damaged to leave you in the middle of the street like this'' Jungkook offered, releasing a big puff of smoke.

''It happens quite frequently to tell you the truth but you are right. The rain hasn't stopped yet but I should better visit a garage or something... Sorry for the interruption and for...''.

''Don't mention it Jimin. You will stay here for as long as you have to and tomorrow morning we will visit the garage together. Apparently this will be one of the coldest nights of the year, I watched the weather forecast'' Jungkook pressed his lips together in an attempt to hide his smirk.

''Are you asking me to spend the night here?'' Jimin questioned with a subtle grin, the muscles in his jaw twitching from surprise.

''It's not that big of a deal''.

''Really? You know me for two freaking days... I could be a killer from all you know'' Jimin cracked a smile when he saw the younger choking on his cigarette, a rather odd spectacle if he may add.

''I know you better than you can imagine Park Jimin'' Jungkook sang playfully, loving the reactions he was getting from the blond.

''Now you sound like a serial killer instead'' the older scoffed and sat crossed leg on the couch.

''Nooo...It's just that you are an open book, I feel like I can read you so easily''.

''Is that so?...Well...Let's play a game. We will be asking each other questions and then attempt to guess the answer. If you or I answer wrong we are obliged to answer a... more personal question from our opponent. Shall I go first?'' Jimin licked his lips and raised his eyebrows.

''Shoot me'' the raven haired poked his cheek with his tongue, ready to tease the hell out of Jimin.

''His previous book was good...Not good enough to surpass mine but still it had potential'' the meek figure expressed. With his thumbs clinking on his wine glass, Min Yoongi, the white haired writer, the insusceptible man stood up from his armchair and sat on his best friend's lap. Swallowing a sweet glug of his chardonnay, he grabbed his friend's chin and caressed the smooth skin with his slender fingers.

''I told him whatever I knew. I didn't want to make it more obvious...Yoongi, you are putting too much pressure on me'' the male breathed heavily.

''I know you did. I am not blaming you. Blaming the chequer during a game of chess would be unwise. I am the one who is moving you. I am the one who will fail if you make a wrong move. I am subjugating you not the other way around'' he remarked with an alluring tone. The man in front of him was so docile, his moves being controlled like a puppet on a string, like a character in a novel.

Yet Yoongi was holding his life. And his life was certainly non fictional.

''How the fuck did you figure that out?'' Jimin's eyes almost popped out of their sockets. ''This is such a random thing, I can't believe you got me...''.

''Slow down, you are speaking too fast'' Jungkook bit his bottom lip when he saw Jimin man-spreading his legs. His lap seemed too inviting, so tantalizingly welcoming. However Jungkook would love to have his head in between.

Jeon Jungkook had never been in love, the confusion between lust and adoration still remaining in his mind. He was so easily attracted by males yet he couldn't fall in love. And as simple as it may sound it made Jungkook upset. Cause he was twenty three and had never had a proper relationship in his life.

''Damn it! Anyway, I have nothing to hide so ask me anything'' he urged the younger, pretending as if no question could make him uncomfortable.

''Can I like go deep?'' he inquired, amused by the ambiguous acceptation of his sentence.

''Jungkook, do you really think you can make me feel uncomfortable?'' Jimin rolled his eyes and placed his hands on his thighs.

''Bet'' Jungkook exclaimed, emphasizing every letter.

''Go off''.

''Give me a minute'' Jungkook mumbled and ran to his desk. His eyes averted from Jimin to his papers, countless of meaningless notes scattered all over the place. Neglecting the fact that the notes barely resembled a book, he grabbed a blank piece of paper and checked the time on his watch. Eight thirty.

''Park Jimin will unwillingly reveal the greatest sex he ever had in eight-thirty one after Jeon Jungkook asks him a personal question. And he has to answer'' he wrote down and hid it back on the drawer. With a slight grin appearing on the corner of his mouth, he walked back to his couch observing Jimin who was playing with his phone.

''You don't know what to ask?'' Jimin teased him, with a whimsical beam decorating his features.

''Tell me about the best sex you ever had'' Jungkook insisted, catching the blond off guard. Jimin's eyes were scanning the other's indifferent expression.

''You can't be serious''.

''It's personal, from what I can see it makes you uncomfortable and it applies on the rules of the game you suggested in the first place. I guessed your two favorite colors, so I am ready for an answer''.

''But I don't want to answer that... well, fuck it at this point'' Jimin chuckled with the younger's eagerness.

''Start whenever you are ready''.

''You really are something, huh?'' the blond chuckled and rolled his fingers through his hair. ''Well...I really believe that I still haven't tried a few things so I still never had the best sex I could experience'' he commented.

''Umm, was it with a man or with a woman ?'' the younger wondered.

''What do you think?'' Jimin inquired, his eyebrows waggling.

''I don't judge''.

''Is this a normal discussion you have with someone you know for two days?''.

''So a man?'' Jungkook laughed.

''Yes. Yes it was a man. I mean, he was flexible and stuff but he just couldn't fulfill all of my needs''.

''Needs? Like kinks or something?'' Jungkook inquired, not realizing that he spoke his thoughts out loud. The man was having an impact on him.

And oddly, it was now Jimin's turn to tease the younger man.

''Yes, of course I am talking about kinks. I could try everything really but my favorite has to be...bondage'' his eyes flickered with guile.

''B...bondage?'' he stuttered.

''It depends. Whether I am top or bottom'' he exclaimed and licked his lips.

''Thank you again for today. For the company, the shirt, the sweatpants... I swear the moment the sun wakes me up, I will be good to go'' Jimin remarked and placed the sheets on the couch. Jungkook was about to ask him if he wanted to sleep in his bedroom and so that he could take the couch but Jimin had already laid his body down on the sofa.

''Don't mention it. After all, we now know each other quite well'' Jungkook smirked and went to lock the drawers of his desk.

''Thankfully I don't have to work tomorrow. Good night Jungkook'' he whispered and brought the blanket to his chest.

''Good night Jimin'' he murmured and climbed up the staircase.

After deciding to not lock his door, Jungkook changed into his pajamas and sat on his bed. The room seemed like a chamber that trapped him, like a chain that kept him locked. A sense of trepidation pierced his tough exterior like a needle reaching for blood. With his eyes scanning every corner, Jungkook ridiculed himself for thinking of something weird and fell on his bed.

Like a blizzard, all his thoughts flooded his head at once and the man closed his eyes in an attempt to classify them. As time passed Jungkook began to realize that his papers, his once neat and uncluttered writing, were now only pointless, footling notes barely even resembling an author's book.

Subsequently and gradually the man came to the conclusion that he spent so much time thinking of Park Jimin's origins that his novel, his productive means of living, was now probably looking like an obsessed man's diary. A repetitive name, pages with lustful meanings...desires he wanted the blond to satisfy.

His breathing became faster and his fists curled around his blankets. Since Jin gave him the idea about the monologue, he focused so much to perfectionate his writing that he forgot the main purpose; the essence.

But he still didn't know...How can Park Jimin exist? How can something he wrote exist?

With all these thoughts engorging his mind with liquid fear, Jungkook fell asleep with oblivion being his only friend. He had the man sleeping on his couch, wearing his clothes, staying in his place...He was controlling someone's life and for the first time in his life -no matter the situation- Jeon Jungkook didn't want to be in control.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Still drowsy from the lack of sleep, Jungkook wore his slippers and tied his robe around his body. The aroma of freshly baked coffee beans and homemade pancakes filled his nostrils quite surprising the younger. Particularly when he didn't see Jimin cooking them in the kitchen. His eyes scanned both the living room and the kitchen searching for the said older that much to his dismay was nowhere to be seen.
''Jimin!'' he shouted, hoping that the man was still there. Until he saw his jumper and sweatpants neatly folded on his armchair. The sheets were also next to them along with a small note the blond must have left before his leaving. Jungkook rubbed his sleepy eyes and grabbed the note in his hands obviously displeased that the older decided to leave without waking him up.
''I made you breakfast. You should really go to a super-market, your fridge is almost empty. Hope you enjoy. See you and sorry for leaving. I had to handle something. Bye Kook''.
''Kook? A nickname?'' the man uttered and shoved a bite of the delicious breakfast in his mouth.
After spending hours and hours of thinking, Jungkook realized that perhaps Jimin not spending the morning with him was for the best. He was easily growing attached to the older male and quite frankly Jungkook wasn't the type of making friends easily. He knew he wasn't a bad guy but he was barely communicative. The fact that he still had Jin calling him from time to time and Taehyung visiting him pretty often was odd enough since the young author was barely interacting with people.
And perhaps it was better to stay away from the older while he still had the chance. He still wasn't too attached to Jimin, he could still drift away from him. He surely didn't want to fall in love with his own fictional creation, even saying the sentence out loud was driving him insane.
So if Jimin didn't call him or interact with him, he would do the same.
From now on, no more Park Jimin for Jeon Jungkook he promised to himself.
