Athena's POV

Waking up to the sound of the annoying sound of my alarm is the most irritating thing in the entire world. Shutting it off, I looked over my shoulder to see Jacob and Dereck cuddling with each other. Ever since I can remember, whenever we use to have sleepovers, we would always squeeze into one bed and cuddle to sleep. That is the result of the current situation right now that is us three on my bed. Thank God that I'm on the edge of the bed as I can leave the bed without disturbing them. Okay so I have to get ready for work and I also have to make breakfast for all the boys. I went directly in the shower because otherwise I would be late. As soon as I hopped into the shower, I realized that I didn't even read the contract that the arrogant man himself gave me yesterday. After the shower, I dried myself and wrapped the towel around me and went to my room. Picking up my clothes for the day, I looked back and saw the two princesses still cuddling. While going back to the bathroom to put on my clothes, I stopped at Eros' room and woke him up.

Making breakfast was quick and now I'm sitting while sipping some tea and reading the contract. Suddenly, I felt the contract being snatched from my hands. Looking back, I saw Jacob waving the papers in the air. "Jacob stop messing. Just give it to me, it's important papers," I said running behind him. "Not so fast Delia," I heard Dereck say before I felt myself being lifted up. In the corner of my eyes, I saw Jacob starting reading the content of the paper and I immediately started freaking out. "ATHENA can you tell me what is this," Jacob said. Oh shit he called me Athena that mustn't be good. I could see Dereck frowning at Jacob's reaction as he put me down. "What's wrong Jacob," Dereck asked as he made his way to Jacob. I ran to Jacob and snatched the papers from his hands. "Why do you have a contract for being a fake fiance," Jacob said looking all fuming. "WHAT," Dereck said as he heard what Jacob said. "Guys both of you calm down okay. Eros is here, he doesn't have to know," I said as I checked whether he was nearby. "Delia can you tell me why the fuck you have this contract? And are you even considering signing this shit," Dereck said as Jacob was trying to calm down. Gulping, I looked up to see Dereck clenching his jaws. "I'll tell you guys everything just please don't freak out okay. I'll tell you later," I said as I just hoped they understand. To be honest, I completely agree with the way they are reacting and I'm just praying that they keep their calm. "Come on guys I made breakfast. Eat up and make sure to wash the dishes," I said as I grabbed my backpack and made my way out.

As soon as I closed the door behind me, I heard the sound of a car turning of its ignition. Turning towards the sound, I saw the expensive slick black Mercedes parked in front of my house. The door opened to reveal a very intimidating looking Mr Knight. Oh no no no, he has to go away. If the boys see him, they will surely give him a piece of their mind. Walking towards him, I quickly caught his arm and pulled him back towards the car. "Mr Knight what are you doing here," I asked as I glanced towards my window to see whether any of the boys was looking outside. Thank God they weren't. "Came to pick you up. I believe we have to discuss about the contract," he said as he remove his shade and revealing his beautiful brown orbs. "I have to work right now Mr Knight. We can discuss about it later. Now can you please just leave," I said with pleading eyes. "Fine I'll leave but I already talked to your boss at the cafe so you are no longer working there," he said and as soon as my mind registered what he said, my eyes widened to the point where they could even fall out. "YOU DID WHAT," I literally yelled out. "Don't shout woman. Now I guess I can join you inside to talk about the contract," he said as he was about to take a step forward but i just blocked his way. "Mr Knight please I'll meet you a few hours," I said as I tried to take in that I am now jobless. He simply nodded and got back into his car. I turned to face my house when I saw Dereck pulling the curtains open and seeing Mr Knight getting into his car. He had a scowl on his face.

Thankfully, Mr Knight already started his car and drove away just in time as the boys came out from the front door. "Delia was that the guy," Jacob asked me as he walked up to me. I simply nodded as I literally sat down on the grass in front of my house. Patting the space beside me, I asked both of them to take a seat. "Okay guys well I know I should have told you that yesterday itself but well I genuinely forgot about it," I said and both of them nodded. Taking in a sharp breath, I prepared myself to tell them the truth. "Eros is going to finish highschool soon and he has always wanted to go to this university in Greece and well it's very expensive. Surprisingly, this guy then shows up at the cafe a few days ago offering me things that would help for Eros's university payment and securing a job worth my qualification. Guys it's a win win situation. On top of that, the contract will be over in a year," I said waiting for their reaction. "Delia you need money for Eros. Why didn't you just ask one of us," Dereck said as Jacob agreed. "Guys remember when you guys offered me to use your contacts to get a job, I refused," I said and the nodded. "That's the same thing. In some ways it's like I'm working for this money and not taking advantage of my well off friends," I said with pleading eyes. "Would you stop with the eyes. Geez," Dereck said knowing that he cannot resist my pleading eyes. "Fine do how you please but if he even thinks of hurting you we will show him what we are made of," Jacob said trying to look angry. I couldn't help but laugh. "Why are you guys sitting on the grass," I heard Eros say from the front door. "Nothing," we all said in union. "Delia the guy seemed familiar. What's his name," Dereck said as we walked inside. "Oh he is Maximus Knight. Supposedly someone very known but I've never heard about him," I said and looking at them to find them looking at me in shock. "That bastard," Jacob murmured under his breath. "He is such a player Delia," Dereck said. "Dereck I'm just gonna be his fake fiancé. It's not like I'm gonna fall for him. I mean come on man he irritates the hell out of me," I said as I put my backpack down. "Oh hey one question, weren't you supposed to be going to work," Dereck asked. "Well being the 'player's' pretend fiancé, I have to stop working at the cafe now," I said as I sighed. "Well that means more time to hang out," Jacob said as he put his arms around me and Dereck.
