Athena's POV

Hi, let me introduce myself I'm Athena Cordelia Demetrius. I'm just a normal 23 year old girl who just got out of university with a job as a waitress as I'm not getting any job worth my qualifications right now.

Being the only person working in the house, I have been working ever since my mom got back problems. Till now life has been great and I have nothing to complain about. There are definitely many things that happened in the past that has shaped me into the person that I am today but surely I'm left broken.

I never wish for anyone to go through what I have been through a couple of years ago but now I'm much better. I was very depressed after I got to know that my mom got sick and accompanied with some horrid experiences, I was slowly feeling dead inside. But then one day my mom gave me a book for my birthday and that book had a huge impact on me. It definitely helped me out of my depression. The author, Pegasus, has a beautiful way of describing life in different perspectives and making me hope for love one day. Pegasus ended up being my savior and well he is a very famous person. His words has bring me back to life and I'm very thankful for that.

Now I'm much better but I'm still having a hard time trusting people around me. Yeah I have trust issues. Having severe depression, I was very suicidal and resorted to self- harm. I couldn't talk to my brother or my mom about that. So yeah that's how a book helped me fight my depression. And yeah I have an amazing family who has always supported me. I have a little brother, Eros, and we live with our beloved mother. Sadly I lost my dad when I was ten years old and Eros was five years old. It was hard for me at the start because I would always cry whenever I would see fathers coming to pick up their kids but my mom was always there to hold me. I miss my dad so much but my mom has really been strong when she needed to be. Now it is my turn to be strong for my family.

"Delia," I heard Eros said as he got into my room. Eros and my mom call me Delia short for Cordelia which is my middle name and they are the only people who call me that to others I'm Athena. "Yea Eros," I said as he came and laid down beside me. "I have been meaning to talk to you about something Delia," he said looking a little bit nervous. "I'm all ears Eros, shoot," I said as he inhaled deeply. Oh well he seems to be really nervous. "You know how much I love architecture right," he said and I nodded. "As I'm nearly finishing school, I have been thinking to apply to some universities now," he said as he looked straight at the ceiling. "That is amazing Eros. If that is what you want then," I said feeling proud of my baby brother. "Delia the university that I have been really wanting to go to is in Greece," he said in a raspy voice. "And it's kind of expensive," he said as he covered his face with my pillow. "That's fine Eros I'm gonna find a way to get enough money. You will fulfill your dream and I'll always be there to help you my lovely brother," I said as I hugged him. As soon as I said those words, his eyes lit up and he hugged me back. "You are the best sister in the whole wide world. But Delia it's fine if you can't get the money. I'll just study here," he said making my heart squeeze. "I'll do my best Eros and you will get the best," I said as he smiled at me. Thanking me for the thousandth time, he finally walked out of the door. Okay now I have to figure out how I'm gonna save all the money for his studies. I have savings so that is a great start.

"Hi Mr Parker... Yes it's Athena... I was wondering if I could get some extra shift... Yes thank you so much sir.... I'll see you tomorrow sir," I finally hung up. Mr Parker is the owner of the fancy café where I work. He has been paying me well and the extra that I'm gonna get from the extra shifts is gonna be worth it. I just hope that I'll be able to save up enough for Eros. My brother is full of creativity and I want what's best for him. So if it means working two times more it's gonna be worth it in the end. Well my mom can't work anymore because of her back so I'm supporting my family the best I can.

After a few minutes, I decided to go get ready for the meet up that I am going to. Yes you've guessed right Pegasus is in town and he is having a meet up so I'm definitely going as I have the afternoon off today. Ever since I started reading his books I couldn't bring myself to stop. His words has such a strong impact on me that I can't even control it. I threw on a sweater and pants and I'm all ready.

"Mom I'm going out," I told her as she was watching TV. "There is food in the microwave Eros and don't forget to give mom her medicines," I said as I took my backpack and stuffing Pegasus' books in. "Delia I'm capable of looking after myself honey. Don't worry about us. Just enjoy," she said as she placed a kiss on my head. "Okay mom see you. Bye Eros," I yelled out so as Eros could hear me from the kitchen. I feel so excited and thrilled at the moment. I'm going to be in front of my favorite author of all time. But it's really a unfair that he doesn't want the world to know his real identity. On all pictures that I have seen of Pegasus, his hair and face is all covered with a mask but you could only see his eyes. I'm seriously so intrigued about this man. He has the right to do what he wants so who am I to say a thing.

Getting into the taxi, I gave the driver the instructions to the meet up and we drove silently to the grand library of the town. As the taxi pulled up in front of the grand library, I was instantly submerged by shock. There were so many people swarming the entrance. "Thank you sir," I told the man as I handed him the money and he drove off. Oh god I just hope that I get to talk to him once. With that thought, I dived into the crowd of people making my way through the entrance. While waiting, I could see Pegasus signing autographs as he talked with his fans. As I waited, I couldn't help but feel someone's gaze of me a few times but I never saw who it was. Maybe I'm just being paranoid.

After an hour of waiting, it was finally my turn, I walked up to him and greeted him. He was looking intently at me before greeting me back. "I'm very honored to be finally able to meet you sir. Your work is incredible and it has save my life," I said as I looked into his brown orbs. Wow he has beautiful eyes. "Oh well I should be the one thanking you for reading my work. It's just an amazing feeling to be able to make a difference in the world but what do you mean that my work has saved your life," he said but his voice was not his real voice as he wore a voice modifier. "It's not important. You just did," I said and he simply nodded. "Can you please sign my books," I asked and he nodded. Taking the books out of my backpack, I handed them to him. "Wow you have all my books," he said sounding happy despite the voice modifier. "Yea can you sign it for me, I'm Athena," I said and he nodded as he started to sign my books. "You have a beautiful name," he said as he wrote my name in his beautiful handwriting. "Thank you so much sir. It was a pleasure meeting you," I said as I turned to leave. Oh my god that was the best thing ever. Pegasus was talking to me and we were actually having a conversation. That is just insane. I can't help but keep thinking about his beautiful eyes as I got into the taxi. He is probably gonna forget that I even met him when he is gone from here. Anyways that was such a great evening, I got to meet my savior in person and he was really polite. Oh man how I wish I could hear his real voice and see his hair and his face.

After a few minutes, I reached home to mom and Eros having dinner. "Hi guys," I greeted them as I got in. "How was it honey," mom asked as I put my backpack down. "It was great mom. There were so many people. The place was crowded but I managed to meet Pegasus and got all of my books signed. It's the best thing ever," I said as I showed her the books. "Oh well that's great," Eros said excitedly as he looked at the autograph. "You're one lucky girl," he said as he took a bite of his chicken. "Anyways guys I'll just go change and join you in a few," I said as I made my way to my room.
