A/N: Okay, here's another update!!! (: I'm feeling better about this story, and I hope you are too. So here we gooo! (:
Mia's POV
"Yeah, you're welcome to come over when ever you want," Harry tells me, almost sounding relieved.
"Great. I just need to talk to you. And Louis," I add in.
I can hear him groan at the mention of Louis' name.
"You okay Harry?" I ask.
"Yeah... I'll see you soon?" He said.
"Yep. After my shift. So around 6." I say looking down at my watch.
"Okay, b-bye," he stutters, than I hear the click.
I sigh and put my phone in my pocket, heading back to my register.
I looked over at Rose. I smile when I noticed her texting away on her phone.
"Interesting conversation?" I ask curiously.
"Huh?" She raises her head, sounding confused. I raise my eyebrow, she blushes immensely.
I roll my eyes and begin scanning the random person's items.
-----/-----/-----/-----/-----/-----/-----/-----
I nervously walk up to Harry's room, my hands shaking rapidly.
I debate on even knocking on the door, but the guilt was killing me inside.
After 3 minutes of taking deep breaths, i knock on the door softly. I wait a minute, than the door finally opens.
"Mia!" Harry smiles, pulling me into a hug.
I hug back, breathing in his scent, the memories flooding back.
"I've missed you," he whispers in my ear.
"I've missed you too," I mumble into his shoulder. We pull back and look into each-others eyes for a while.
I look over at the couch, hinting that I wanted to sit down.
He pulls me to the couch, sitting close together.
"Is Louis here?" I ask, looking around curiously.
I look over at Harry who is biting his lip nervously.

"What?" I question.
"We aren't exactly, uh, talking...." Harry tells me.
"Well that's gonna change," I tell him, standing up. He grabs my wrist, pulling back down. He looks at me with pleading eyes.
I sigh and sit back down.
"Just talk to me first," He whispers. I give him a small nod.
"Okay, what do you want to talk about? The bar fight? The fact that you're a perverted drunk?" I yell without noticing.
"I know," he whispers agian, " I-I'm sorry... I've been through a lot... With my girlfriend in the hospital, than running away from me when I'm hurting inside. I'm sorry.. Please just, just believe me when I say that it was all a mistake."
I bite my lip hard, "okay,"
He gives me a smile and hugs me.
"I'm gonna go talk to Louis, kay'?" I smile. He gives me a frown and turns his head in disgust.
I stand up and walk out, hearing Harry sigh.
I walk over to Louis' hotel room, knocking softly.
I see Louis open the door and smile.
"Hey Mia!!" He laughs, pulling me in a loving hug, I hug back than pull away.
"Can we talk?" I ask.
"Sure, come in," He smiles, gesturing me to walk in. I give him a quick smile and sit down on his couch.
He goes in the kitchen and comes back out with two cups of tea.
He sets in down in front of me, I thank him, than he sits down and joins me.
"So what do you want to talk about?" He asks, as if he didn't know about all the drama that has already happened.
"What happened at the bar? What is Harry not telling me?" I frown, determined to find out what Louis had meant that night.

"He, uh, Mia I can't...." He mutters, running his hands through his hair roughly.
"Louis! What are you guys not telling me!!!" I shout.
"Mia, calm down, it's nothing okay?" He mumbles.
"Louis, how to expect me to trust you guys if you're not telling me something?" I sigh, pacing back and forth..
"Just trust me, please..." He begs.
"Louis, I can't.... I'm sorry..." I apologize, I honestly don't feel sorry.. Why should they be hiding stuff from me? What did I do? What did they do???
"Look Louis, if you want me to stay than you tell me what's going on. If not I'm gone, and I won't be coming back," I tell him with confidence in my voice.
He looks at me with his ocean blue eyes sadly,"Harry was gonna leave you," I gasp, "Not like that though! He was gonna..... When you fainted Harry was done helping. He was just gonna leave you... The person in the ambulance with you was me. I saved you...." He whispers.
My words are trapped in my throat, my head spinning with confusion. Harry didn't save me... Did he even want to be with me?
"I-I," I stutter, I tried to manage to say something but I was speechless. I watch the window, hoping I would thin of something to say, but I couldn't.
Before I knew it I was running to Harry's room, banging on the door loudly.
"Mia! What's wrong?" He asked concerned.
"You," I mutter, "YOU! YOU DIDN'T CARE! YOU DIDN'T EVEN RIDE IN THE DAMN AMBULANCE WITH ME." I yelled.
Louis rushes in, his arm wrapping around my shoulder protectingly. Oddly, his shoulder calmed me down slightly, as if being in his arms was a relief.
Harry frowns and looks over at Louis, "You said you wouldn't tell her." He mumbles rudely at Louis.
"Harry, she deserved to know the truth." Louis mutters looking at Harry with disgust. "You can discuss this with her." He tells him, "Mia I'll be in the hall," He tells me, I nod my head slowly and wait for him to leave the room.
I heard Harry sigh, I look over at him and see him running his shaking hand through his curls nervously.
"Mia," He whispers but I cut him off.
"Harry, I don't want an excuse. I understand." I frown.
He gives me a confused look, unsure of what I meant.
"I understand that you don't understand me. You don't. I need someone who does, a guy wh-who. will know what's wrong and be there for me. A guy who won't just say it will be okay, a guy who will mean it, a guy who will show it. I'm just not compatible with you... Please, please, find a girl who is like you. Not like me." I sigh, relieved to tell him what's wrong.
He nods understandingly, "So where does that lead us?" He frowns, preparing for the answer that I was gonna give him.
"H-Harry, I need to stay away from you..."

Delicate as Glass
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Nuri, an [Assistant Glassworker], only has a single Skill. It’s really not fair. He’s worked in the hot shop his entire life, following in his father’s footsteps after his parents passed away, but he’s stuck. Despite possessing above-average talent as an artisan, he still hasn’t shed his [Assistant] status, gained a second Skill, or even leveled enough to reach the first Threshold. Besides, he’s bored; most days he daydreams of adventure and becoming a hero, or pines for the renown that’s sure to be his if he evolves his Class into a [Master Glass Smith], but nothing ever changes—until suddenly, fate strikes, and nothing is ever the same again. These days, Nuri sees more magic, prestige, and adventure than he can handle as he gets swept up in realm-shaking conspiracies and desperate fights for his life. Maybe a boring life wasn’t so bad after all. Disclaimers: 1) Names were mostly chosen through random generators and aren’t necessarily final. If they seem derivative or boring, blame RNG. 2) Skills, Classes, levels, and the entire system is currently a work in progress; please be kind if it’s not very well fleshed out yet. 3) This is the first full-length novel I've set out to write without a single plot point ready. I had nothing in mind other than a recent visit to a hot shop. Molten glass is pretty awesome. 4) Related, I know much less about glass than I’d like. I did some research, but mistakes are bound to happen. If you have a correction, thanks! Please be polite about it. 5) The prose is my experimental attempt at first-person, present tense. I realize it may not be everyone’s preference, but I hope you’ll give it a try anyway!
