You woke up to your crummy, run downed bedroom at home. It was 5:01 in the morning. You quickly got out of bed but, before you could move, your mother came in.

Mother: What the hell is this??!! Why aren't you outside.

(Y/N): I'm sorry!

She takes out her cigarette and burns it on your hand. You winced a bit, but you were used to the pain. You got dressed and headed outside to the farm. You began doing all possible work around the farm, plowing, cutting, collecting eggs.

You finally were able to finish off collecting eggs for breakfast. You began quickly making breakfast for your abusive parents. Once you finished, you quickly presented the foo to your parents.

Father: It's about damn time! (He takes a bit and spits it out) Shit! This is horrible!

Your father stabs his fork on your palm, spewing some blood.

Mother: Now look! You got the floor dirty. Clean it up you ungrateful shit!

(Y/N): Y-yes, ma'am.

You got on your knees and began cleaning up some of the blood. Your father kicks you in the side and knocks you onto the ground.

Father: You're pathetic.

(Y/N): Y-yes, sir.

You continued to do your work.

Team RWBY came into the dinning hall and got their morning breakfast. They joined Team JNPR and the eight friends had smiles all around them. Jokes were made, Weiss was upset, just everything seemed right. As they were eating, the loud speaker came on with Glynda Goodwitch's voice.

Glynda: Would Team RWBY please report to Professor Ozpin's office?

Yang: Oh great.

Blake: What do you think that's all about?

Ruby: Well, let's figure out.

Ruby hops out of her seat and begins running out the room. Her team follows. The four arrive at Ozpin's office who smiles and gestures for them to sit down. RWBY does so.

Ozpin: Hello, girls.

Ruby: We aren't in trouble or anything, right?

Ozpin: I can assure you this is nothing negative. Or, at least not yet.

Weiss: What is it?

Ozpin: There is a boy out by Mountain Glenn. He shows a great deal of potential. I wish for you four to find him, get him here and make sure his transition is comfortable.

Weiss: And you couldn't because...?

Ozpin: I feel your, uniqueness of a unit would be better for him. You understand.

Ruby: We do, Professor.

Ozpin: Please. Be careful with this situation. His living conditions haven't been the best.

Yang: Don't worry, teach, we've got this.

Ozpin: I'm counting on you four.

Ruby: Yes sir. Come on, Team. Let's of this!

Team RWBY dashes off to complete their mission.

The team landed by a large farm. Ruby took point as the three other members followed. As they walked up to the farm house, the front door opens and you are thrown outside by your father. You hit the stairs and your head begins to bled and knocked out.

Yang: Hey!

Ruby: What are you doing?

Father: Who the hell are you?

Weiss: We're huntresses from Beacon. Ozpin sent us to find a boy from this house.

Father: We'll take him. I don't need this useless piece of garbage here!

He spat on your unconscious body and went back inside the house. The girls run up to your body and examine it.

Ruby: Is he ok?

Blake: He's hurt alright. But maybe we can save him.

Yang: Think he'll give us a kiss with we do?

Ruby: Yang! This is serious!

Yang: Right. Sorry. (Yang picks you up) Let's go.

Your eyes fluttered open as you looked up to see a white roof. You look around to see some of medical supplies. On your right hand, you feel someone hold it.

???: Hello.

You turned to see a girl with a black skirt and red hood.

Ruby: I'm Ruby.

(Y/N): Am I dead?

Ruby: Thankfully not.

(Y/N): I wished I was.

Ruby: Well, you're safe now. We got you out of there.

(Y/N): We?

A girl with blonde hair, black hair and white hair entered. The blonde lied down next to you and circles her finger on your chest.

Yang: Hey, handsome. Name's Yang. Since we got you out of there...maybe you can pay us back.

White Hair Girl: Yang! Come on! We just got him out of there!

Yang: Argh, fine, Weiss! (To you) I still want something.

She gets off as the girl named Weiss walk over with a glass of water. She sits you up and hands you the water.

Weiss: Here.

You looked at the glass then at her. You hesitantly takes the glass. You quickly gorge it down as the four girls look at you surprised. Ruby giggles a bit by the reaction as the other three look on in shock.

(Y/N): You-you have any more?

Ruby: Yeah. I'll get you something. What do you want?

(Y/N): I-I don't know.

Ruby: I'll get you a sandwich. Ok?

(Y/N): Ok.

Weiss: Ruby, from what's he's been through, he deserves more. Right Blake?

Blake: I have to agree with Weiss. He deserves more than a sandwich.

(Y/N): N-no. That's fine. I'll take the sandwich.

Yang: You sure, handsome?

(Y/N): Y-yeah. I'm fine.

Ruby: I'll make it!

Ruby dashes out the room and down the hall. After a few seconds of awkward silence, a man steps into the room.

???: Excuse me girls, but if I could speak with our new guest for a few minutes?

Blake: Of course, Professor.

The girls leave as the man walks up to the head of the bed with a cane and another glass of water.

Ozpin: Hello, I am Professor Ozpin. Headmaster of Beacon Academy.

(Y/N): Why am I here?

Ozpin: You are here because I believe you have a capable stance in this world.

(Y/N): What?

Ozpin: You have potential. I wish for you to increase that potential.

(Y/N): But, I-I can't. I don't even have a-

Ozpin throws his glass at you. You put your hands up in defense and feels nothing. You open your eyes to see the glass floating with a (F/C) aura around it.

Ozpin: Telekinetic. Impressive.

(Y/N): Wha-what does this mean?

Ozpin: It means, I want you to come to my school. To learn. To live. To thrive. Will you join?

(Y/N): I-I-

From behind Ozpin, glass shatters. You both glance over to see Ruby with the dropped plate with a sandwich on it.

Ruby: You're staying?

(Y/N): I-I-

Ozpin: The choice is yours, (Y/N).

(Y/N): I'll stay.

Ruby: YES!!!

Ozpin: Very well. Ms. Rose, you may return to your room.

Ruby: Oh. Ok.

Ruby leaves.

Ozpin: Well, Mr. (L/N). Come, we have a tour and a dorm to go to.

(Y/N): Oh, ok.

You get up and follow Ozpin. As you are walking through the school, you came across a large arena with a woman standing in the center.

Ozpin: Alright, (Y/N). This is Professor Glynda Goodwitch. She will assist you in your semblance training.

(Y/N): A-are you sure?

Ozpin: Yes. She'll assist you.

You and Ozpin walked up to Glynda.

Glynda: Alright, (Y/N), see if you can lift these blocks and stack them up.

(Y/N): O-Ok.

You focus on the blocks and you see some of (F/C) aura around it. You smile a bit at the achievement and move the blocks slightly over one another. However, you struggled to keep your task up and soon the blocks fell to the ground.

(Y/N): I'm sorry! I'm sorry. It'll will never happen again!

Glynda: That's alright. It just means we have some work to do.

Ozpin: Thank you Glynda for your time. Now, (Y/N), with me. We will be getting you your room and team.

(Y/N): T-team?

Ozpin: Yes. Fear not. I believe you will like them.

You and Ozpin walk up to a room. Ozpin knocks on the door. It opens to Ruby.

Ruby: Hello, Professor. (Y/N)! What are you doing here?

Ozpin: Ms. Rose. May we enter.

Ruby: Sure.

Ruby steps to the side and you and Ozpin enters the dorm. Inside the rest of the team is standing around to see you.

Ozpin: Girls, I understand this is not the most ideal situation, but (Y/N) here needs a room and team. And I believe this is the best option for him.

(Y/N): What?

Yang: If you want him on the team, I'm down for that.

Ruby: Yeah! As leader, I say we put him on the team.

Weiss: But-

Ozpin: Thank you girls. (Y/N), welcome to Beacon.

(Y/N): I-I don't want to be a hassle.

Ozpin leaves and closes the door. You look around in worry until two arms are wrapped around you.

Yang: Hey, handsome. Welcome to the fun house.

(Y/N): Uh, h-h-hi.

Yang: You still owe us something for saving you. (She kisses your neck) So how about-

Ruby breaks you say from Yang.

Ruby: Yang! Stop being weird! Sorry, (Y/N). She does that sometimes.

(Y/N): I-it's fine.

Blake: Aside from Yang's...oddity, welcome to Team RWBY, (Y/N).

(Y/N): T-thanks.

Ruby: I'll get you some blankets.

Weiss: Which reminds me, where is he gonna sleep?

Yang: With-

Weiss: No!

Yang: Why not? I think he'll enjoy it.

(Y/N): I'll take the ground.

Ruby: You sure? I mean, it can get cold.

(Y/N): No it's fine.

You took the blanket from Ruby and just dropped them on the floor. The girls shrugged and got into the beds as well for the night.

Ruby: Night Team!

Weiss, Blake and Yang: Night!

Ruby: Night, (Y/N).

(Y/N): N-Night.

And with that, you fell asleep.
