After Lilly's sudden visit to Jaxon, he did not leave his room. At all. What did she do? Did she kill him? I hope not. I don't want my best friend to go to jail.
I knocked on his bedroom door and waited. "Who is it?" he asked angrily, and I sighed. Good, he's alive.
"Ariel," I replied, then he opened the door quickly and let me in. When I was in the room, Jaxon locked the door, then turned and faced me. I was frozen at the sight, but then I burst out laughing. "What the hell?" I managed to say, and he sighed.
"I know, and it won't come off. Help!" Jaxon pleaded, and I saw his face covered with makeup. If it was on a girl, I would say damn, Lilly did well. But on Jaxon, it was pretty funny.
"Okay, come to my room. I have makeup removal," I replied, and he nodded but stopped.
"Where are the boys?" he asked in a nervous tone.
"Oh, don't worry. Owen, Aaron, and Noah won't see you. They are in the living room playing COD." I replied, and he relaxed a bit. We left his room and went to mine, which was not far from his. I opened the door, and we entered. He once again locked the door.
I smirked at him. "Afraid that the boys might know about your new passion?" I teased, and he rolled his eyes with a tiny grin.
"Whatever, now please," he begged, and I opened the drawer and grabbed the makeup removal.
"Okay, now sit and don't move," I ordered, he sat on my bed, and I stood in front of him. You know, with his height... I will never reach his eyes unless he bends down. And that will be uncomfortable for both of us.
"Close your eyes," I demanded, and he did. As I was doing my work, he let out a loud sigh. "What's wrong?" I asked, still removing the glitter from his eyes.
"It's just... I'm sick of this. You know, getting orders from the boss because we have to, but I feel guilty now because I'm glad we kidnapped you. I know it's selfish, but you make us smile. You made me laugh and relax, which I hadn't done in a long time. I'm just glad. I'm a cruel guy. I'm sorry. Forget what I just said," he muttered, then ran his hand in his hair and opened his eyes. It's hard to read him. He's so complex, yet so deep and sincere.

"Well, you kidnapped me, and that's wrong. But, like I told you before, I understand. You're not selfish at all. You're just you; we're humans. We're not perfect. We make mistakes," I replied, smiling, and he returned a bigger one. "Plus, I'm awesome. Of course, I'll make you happy and relaxed. I'm Ariel Lee O'Connor," I joked, and he chuckled until he looked at me like he remembered something.
"Oh yeah, about the favor, what do you want me to do for you? Have you thought about it yet?" He reminded me, and I thought for a minute, then I nodded, making up my mind. I gave him a clean towel to wipe his face; it was all clean.
"Yes, but I don't know if you can do it," I said with a hopeful look.
"You know I can't release you, right?" he stated, and I shook my head, understanding him.
"No, not that. Can you make a phone call to my parents to let them know I'm safe? I will not tell them where am I because I don't want them to get hurt, and I'll put it on speaker, please?" I asked, and he thought about it, and finally, he got out of the room and returned five minutes later with a phone. My face lightened up with joy. I ran to him and kissed his cheek.
Did I once again kiss his cheek?
He froze at my sudden action, but then he smirked. "It's untraceable, so you may quickly make the call." I nodded, and we sat on my bed, crossed legs.
~~~
Rachel (Ariel's mom)
We were all sitting in the living room watching Adrian play with his games in his playing corner. I missed my girl.
I knew they would not hurt her because of the hidden note I found, but I was still worried and scared of him. Who is he?
I was cut off from my thoughts by my phone. I looked at the caller ID, which was private. "Unknown number," I said, grabbing Simon's attention along with my boys. I pressed answer and put it on speaker, it was silent for a minute, but then I heard the voice I had been yearning to hear for so long.
"Mom," my baby said through the phone, and we all gasped.
"A-Ariel, baby! Oh, my God, I missed y-you! Are you okay? Did they hurt you? Where are you? Ariel-" I asked but cracked at the end, and the tears started running down my cheeks like waterfalls. Davin leaped from the couch and snatched the phone from my weak, shaking hands.
"Bluer... Where are you?" Davin asked, and I heard her sigh.
"I c-can't tell you that, but you have to know I'm all right. Don't worry about me." She replied, and I let out a sigh of relief. Davin put his hand on his neck, trying not to crack with tears, then Hunter took the phone from him.
"Princess... Are you sure you're okay? They didn't hurt or torture you, right?" Hunter asked, concern filling his blue eyes.
"I'm fine, Hunter, as wrong as it might sound, but they are the sweetest kidnappers I've ever met. They were forced to kidnap me; they had no other choice. It was against their own will and not their fault, but their boss's fault. He's the one who ordered to kidnap me. He's the one to take the blame," she explained furiously, and I saw Simon tense.
He took the phone from Hunter. "Angel, baby girl. Who is this boss?" Simon asked her, looking all tough, but I knew he was the opposite. He was dying inside.
"I don't know, daddy, but I'm sure I've heard his voice before, but I can't put my finger on it. Even the boys don't know him. They have never seen him before." She cleared, and I sighed.
"Wait, boys?" Hunter and Davin yelled.
"Yes, dear brothers. Boys as the opposite gender of girls, you know that, right? And what did you think... That a bunch of girls would kidnap me, for heaven's sake, how idiot can you be?"
That's the Ariel I know, we all know. Sarcastic, funny, and caring.
I saw smiles on their faces, and I relaxed, knowing she was okay. Then I remembered the hidden note. "Honey," I grabbed the phone again and cleared my throat. "Who wrote the note saying they had to kidnap you?" I asked.
"I don't know what you are talking about, mom! What note?" she replied, and I raised my eyebrows in confusion.
Then, we heard a male voice. "Let me talk," he requested, and I looked at Simon, Davin, and Hunter. They were also confused.
"Hello, my name is Jaxon, and I'm one of the boys who kidnapped your daughter. I'm very sorry for that, and I'm the one who wrote that note, and please be sure that I'll, no... We would protect her if our boss decided to make his move on her, just don't worry. In fact, we like her. The boys think of her as their little sister," he explained, and I raised my eyebrows.
The boys? What about you?
Someone has a crush on my daughter, and none of my boys seemed to notice.
"So don't worry. I have to hang up-" Jaxon was cut off by Ariel.
"Wait, I need to hear my fluff bear, mom. Where is he?" she asked, and we all looked at Adrian. He had not realized yet that we were talking to his sister.
"Adrian baby, come here," I called to him, and he came running.
"Yes, mommy?" he replied, and I cooed with a warm smile. He's not sleeping well these days. He misses his sister.
"A-Adrian baby, it's Ariel," she said, and I could hear her sobs. His eyes widened with realization, and I chuckled.
"Ariel, this you? I wove you... Come back to me," he pouted as he sat on Davin's lap.
"Yes, fluff bear, it's me. I love you more, but I'm sorry you'll have to wait for me, baby, okay? Will you be a good boy until I come back?" she said, and I heard her chuckle.
He nodded, although she could not see him. "Ariel, I be good boy, bye and come soon," he promised her, and we all waited for her to talk.
She sniffled, and I sighed. "I have to go now, guys. I love you so much, and I'll think of a way to get me out of here. The boys will help when they get the chance. Bye!" She cleared, and we all had sad expressions.
"Bye, we love you too," we replied simultaneously, and the phone went dead.
