JADE P.O. V

I was packing my stuff since today 's work is finished and I am tired as hell . Tristen also had to go somewhere for important work so he didn’t come today . I asked him but he said I won’t understand and I didn’t persuade him much . If he is keeping me out for something then I am sure it’s better for me . I trust him.

I was about to leave when Edward called one of my team members working under me .

“ Yes “ I asked him while I put my phone in my bag .

“ We need a new print for that wall “ which he discussed with me some more .

“ Okay how about we meet them and see the sample and then we will finalize “ I said .

“ Yeah, you are right . Should I set the meeting on this Friday “ he asked and I nodded in agreement .

“ Take my number and remind me of the meeting. I am quite forgetful, “ I said and he wrote my number . It’s true I hate when I forget the meeting which I am supposed to attend .

“ okay see you tomorrow “ he waved at me and I waved him back .

I was heading to the parking lot which was outside as I was walking. It started raining heavily.

Great, can a day get better …. Damn !!!

“ Ohh no !!” I whine and stomp my feet like a child .

My dress started getting soaked so I walked faster .

I was running towards my car, my dress already soaked because of rain. As I was about to pull my car door, somebody pulled my hand roughly and slammed me against my car. I was shocked. It would be an understatement because the person who was holding me like this was ..... Alex ... He was holding my arms in death grip, His eyes were red in rage, He even grew some beard He looks distraught and tired while water dripping from his handsome face.

"Why?? "He growled, he was looking at me like he wanted to kill me but what did I do....

"What ....why!!" I asked confused as I tried to release from his death grip .

He shook me, and pulled me a little closer so that our noses were touching. I was hell scared now I never saw this side of him. I always thought of him as a gentleman .

What the hell happened to him ???

"Don't act like you don't know what I am talking about " He yelled at me. And pushed me which resulted in my back hitting the car "aaahhhh.." I cried in pain and glared at him because he doesn’t have any regret on his face .

"What is wrong with you?? " I yelled tears escaping from my eyes not that he could notice because of the rain.

"You are asking this? " He pointed his fingers at me and laughed bitterly. I can see pain in his eyes. Some things definitely.

"Alex, what's wrong? " I softly asked.

"You - you ruined me. " He accuses me with immense hatred in his eyes .

What??

He came closer and water was dropping on us heavily now. "You destroyed everything, you took away my business ,my daughter "

"You destroyed everything, " He shouted, making me flinch in fear .

"Wh- what a- are you talking about??" I was confused. And then my mind drifted to 'daughter' word.

"What happened to Angel , Is she okay? ''. I asked in a panicked tone.

"Don't "He again held me tightly. "Don't try to show care about her, when you totally don't care" He yelled at me and pushed me.

"She hates me because of you " He again accused me. "You told press that she is not my daughter"

"What!!! "I gasped. My hands Covered my mouth immediately

He dug his hand in pocket and took out something, and showed me something. I realised it's my bracelet which was lost, "it's mine " I said and held it in my hand.

"I know, " He stated bitterly.

"I trusted you Jade", He closed his eyes for a second and then opened it. "why Jade " WHY..... He screams in frustration .

"Alex trust me, I -I didn't tell anyone, trust me Alex", I pleaded, I was crying, how could he say that I would never do that to Angel or to him I promised him .

"Liar, " He said in a dangerous voice. "Liar, liar, liar, " his voice rose. " You know what Jade, you did what you wanted to, now it's my turn to return. I will destroy you Jade Petrikas, I will make your life a living hell. And trust me when I am saying, I will do it". And with that he started to walk away. I was too shocked to move. What the hell just happened.

"No, no, no, wait Alex "I ran toward him but he was already sitting in his car. I started banging on his car window. "Alex, wait listen to me, it's a misunderstanding ,I will never do that to anybody" , the car started moving. "Alex, wait , listen to me", I yelled as his car zoomed out of my sight . I kneeled down and cried “I could never do that, trust me” I whispered . As rain fell on me I felt numb, I lost my friend and He hates me.
