I came out of Tristen's room taking out my phone from my pocket .
I checked my calls and ohh no I totally forgot about Alex we planned a dinner shit shit Jade I cursed myself.

"Hello..". A voice came from another line.
"Umm...Hi Alex it's me Jade."
"Ohh Hii Jade, How are you"?
"I am fine ac- actually am -am sorry for yesterday I promised you and I.."
"No Jade its fine okay you really don't have to be sorry"
I smile at his genuine gesture.
"Thanks Alex, that means a lot to me ."
"So can we meet today because I want you to meet someone. Will you come with me." He sounds nervous. I smile at his nervousness.
"Of course I will come, I owe you, remember "I replied to him in a friendly manner.
"Oh great I will pick you from your home is that okay! "
"Of course.... see yeah later bye "

"Whom are you going to dinner with today?? "I jumped at Tristen's hard voice. His look became scary.
"You scared me, " I said, placing my hands on my chest.
"That's not my answer Jade.... " his voice is hard as rock
I don't know why but I got scared. Why is he behaving like this? Doesn't he trust me or think that I am Jennifer??
"Mmm.....my friend "I replied not wanting to tell him about Alex he will overreact I know.
"Your so-called friend has the right name,'' he said, raising his eyebrows.
I sigh that he is not leaving this topic till I tell him the name.
"Alex" I said looking into his eyes hoping he would not overreact.
"Refuse him and you will not see him ever again "He ordered while turning his back toward me and about to walk away from his room.

"Why?? " Finally I asked if I didn't like the way he ordered me not to meet him ever .
"Because I don't want to" He snapped at me. He was looking dead angry at me. But he can't order me like this. I will go and I am not doing anything wrong besides he saved my life and I promised him.
"I am going home" . I said angrily and walked out from his house.
“Jade come here right now” He again ordered me shouting at the top of his lungs . But I was beyond angry to listened him
"Kacey "I called her as soon as I entered my home.
"Here", I heard her voice come from the kitchen.
"Hey" I said while she was baking cookies and I must tell you she was awesome in that.
"Where the hell have you been" ?? She asked, placing her hands on her hips. I rolled my eyes at her typical Kacey.
"I was at Tristen place" I said without making eye contact.
“O hmm......” she said, sinking my words into her mind. I closed my eyes knowing that she would freak out soon.
"Wait what did you say, you are at his place for the whole night. " Her eyes widened dramatically.
"Yeah "I replied casually, hoping she wouldn't ask what happened that night.
"Did he hurt you?" she asked worriedly.
"Of course not" I took a bite of her cookies which were delicious by the way .
She narrowed her eyes at me “ didn’t I ask you to stay away from him “ she scolded me like my mom.
“ Kacey, he used to be my best friend. I know him and he told me why he is like that and I trust and I know he will never hurt me for sure “ I told myself more than her .

“ I just don’t want you to get hurt but if you are saying then I am happy for you” she smiled at me and I reminded myself that I needed to get ready .
“Look Kacey, I am going somewhere I will catch you later, OK " I smiled at her.
" Okay " she said, slowly getting busy while making cookies.
