I went to my cabin and slammed the door as anger building inside me .

She was thinking about leaving me again …

I took the vase and smash it on the wall “ NO “

“ You are not going to leave me again “ I whispered to myself, getting scared that Jade might go to her parents again and leave me all alone .

“ No, I won't let Jade go away from my life again . She is mine and she has to be with me no matter what “ I slam the desk in anger .

Jade p.o.v

“ What are you thinking?” Kacey sat beside me while handing me hot coffee .

“ nothing just..” I sigh, closing my eyes .

“ Just what …” she asked curiously.

I turned to her and leaned on the couch “ what happened to Tristen in all these years , you were here and you guys graduated together from high school how come Tristen become like this ??” I asked her and she shrugged her shoulders .

“ Well in high school they were together, you know Jennifer and Tristen . They were popular couple but something happened then Tristen broke up with her in front of the whole school and then he started dating every girl his eyes catches and dumb them what a bas.. “ she was about to use some profanity language but her eyes fell on me and she shut her mouth making me roll my eyes .

“ but Tristen loved her since his whole life “ I frown getting up .

“ Jade guys are like this only , they like the girl who they think is challenging and they couldn’t have and as soon as they fall for them . They treat them like they are not human beings but a toy .

“ Listen to me Jade , stay away from Tristen . I know you love him at one point but please he is a player don’t let your heart break okay “ with that she left me alone making me realise that she is actually right .

Next day

I entered the Gulmohar Grand today glancing at my wrist watch . Glad I didn't get late ,it's not a nice impression.

We were working continuously so I thought about taking a break .

"Okay guys I am going to grab a coffee for myself ,so if someone wants as well then I will bring for them too" three people raised their hands. I smiled and nodded making my way outside.

I went toward the coffee machine and made coffee for three people and made my way back . I was walking in the centre of the living hall when all of a sudden someone grabbed my wrist and pulled me with such force that we both fell on the ground making me scream in surprise.

BOOM!!!!!

Everything happened so fast the person who pulled me covered my body with his body like a shield preventing me from getting hurt. My eyes widened when I saw on my left that a large chandelier fell on the place where I was standing. I turned my head to see my saviour face.

Alex.......

My heart was beating fast as I couldn’t believe what could have happened if he didn’t pull me at the right time . How come he always saves me at the nick of time.

We were both staring at each other's eyes as his body was still hovering over mine. I couldn't move. I was still in shock. He was so intimidating. “ You okay “ He whispered softly, concern filled his eyes which did something to my heart .

“ Hmm..” I tried to nod just then Tristen's voice caught our attention.

Alex p.o.v

I was looking at the work of the hotel . I need to be sure that my father invested in a good profitable hotel . This hotel is going to be huge and that’s why everyone is very careful since there is lots of money we have put in this hotel .

I was walking in the big living hall of Gulmohar hotel. I was just admiring the design on the ceiling when my eyes caught up to a large chandelier which was hanging on the ceiling and was about to fall. My eyes immediately went down to make sure no one was there but unfortunately I saw Jade was walking under the large chandelier. My heartbeat quickened thinking about the possibility so I ran toward her. She didn’t notice me coming. I pulled her wrist with such force that we both fell on the ground.

BOOM!!!

I covered her body with mine to protect her from the pieces of broken sharp full glasses. I felt pain when two , three pieces dug into my body. But relief washed over me when I realized that I was able to save her in a nick of time. Her eyes widened when she recognised me . She looked completely shocked and terrified.

“ You okay, “ I whispered softly.

She hummed in response.

She was so beautiful like an angel I couldn't help but get lost in her beautiful eyes. Just then I heard an unfamiliar voice bring me back to reality. What the hell I was doing. I thought to myself

JADE P.O.V

"Jade...... "He screamed my name and ran toward me.

Alex helped me to stand. Tristen hugged me tightly like his world depended on me.

“ Thank God , Thank God , Thank God “ he chanted like a mantra making me smile a little.

"It's okay Tristen, I am fine. Just see" I tried to assure him but he looked so worried making me roll my eyes . I started jumping up and down and turned 360 degrees showing him that I am fine.

“ See I am fine nothing happens to me “ I smile at him to cheer him up.

Everyone chuckled at my behaviour.

My eyes immediately found Alex.

"Alex " I yelled. He gave me a confused look.

"Yo- your hand is bleeding”. I almost screamed, getting worried for him. He looked at his wound and smiled at me" its okay. Its a little "- I cut him

“ little cut – shut up , come with me “ I drag him to my cabin and ask my assistant to bring the first aid box immediately.

“ Jade, trust me I am fine “ he tried to speak but my one glare shut me up.

My assistant instantly brought the first aid box and went away closing the door .

" No you are not, " I said with determination .

“ show me your arm“ I ordered him , I can see blood stains in his white shirt . My heart clenched thinking about how much he got injured for saving me .

My eyes got watery as I looked at him. “ I am sorry “ I whispered as I started nursing him .

“ hey it’s okay it’s not your fault “ he wiped my tears with his thumb and I smiled a little .

After I was done nursing him .

“ you are an eye candy “ I chuckled and immediately close my eyes as I felt stupid to babble like that .

His eyes widened and so was mine “ No I didn’t say you are eye candy “ I immediately spoke but his expression changed into frown making my eyes widen again .

“ No no I mean you are eye candy don’t worry “ I spoke again as relief slightly washed over his face .

“ I am just –“ I tried to speak but shut my mouth knowing I would embarrass myself anyway .

He chuckled wearing his coat “ you are cute “

I smiled brightly “ yes I have dimple see “ I showed him my dimple and he laughed at my antics .

“ You are innocent as well, “ he said again, making me frown . I heard this somewhere.

He mumbled something and shook his head but I didn't understand anything.

"So what are you doing here?" I asked him

"Actually my dad's company invested in this hotel and there was few problems rising at the market stock so I came here to discuss with the head of the team members" He explained.

"What are you doing here"?? He asked me.

" Well I am the head team member , I introduce myself to him formally "after that we started talking about here and there. Suddenly the door opened and we both looked at the person who entered my cabin so rudely.

And there he was Tristen Adam with his famous expression glaring at us. What did I do now ???

"Hello Mr . Adam " Alex smiles gently toward him . He wasn’t intimidated by his aura at all . In fact he was giving him a friendly vibe on the other hand .

"Hi," Tristen said a little rudely.

“ if you won’t mind my assistant will show you the conference room “ he showed him the door indirectly asking him to get out from my cabin .

Alex had an amused expression on his face as he nodded at his word “ sure “ with which he walked out .

After Alex left the cabin he came toward me and hugged me tightly “ I was so scared when I heard your scream “ he whispered near my ear .

I remember Kacey's words and push him slightly “ don’t worry I am fine , let’s get going Alex is waiting in the conference room “ with that I was about to pass him when he held my wrist and his concern expression changed into an angry one .

“ Why do you care so much about him? “ he started interrogating me .

“ Do you know him ??” he asked again and I narrowed my eyes on him .

“ Why do I answer you? It's none of your business . You are not my boyfriend “ I pulled my wrist and walked outside .

After our meeting , I got to know Alex actually holds the 59 percent share of this hotel which means he is going to be the owner . I didn’t expect that he is a billionaire but he doesn’t have that arrogant attitude which most rich people have . I shrugged my shoulders at this thought.

I dropped him to his car and said goodbye .

“ Nice to meet you again, “ he smiled politely .

“ and thank you for saving me again “ I cannot thank him enough for what he did.

I was about to turn when he held my wrist . I turned and my eyes landed on the hold of his wrist as he immediately pulled his hand back . I smiled at his cute behaviour inwardly. He is a shy type of guy.

“ Yes” I ask

"I owe you right," He said with a smirk.

"So ?"I raised my eyebrow .

He looked a little nervous."Can you goonadinnerwith me?". He said with so much speed that I didn't understand a word.

"What" ?? I asked in confusion.

"I mean will you go to dinner with me tonight??" He asked, a little nervous.

"Of course" I smile widely. He looked a little shocked. I laugh at his reaction.

"Of course I will go, " I said again, making him believe.

He smiled widely. "Okay then I will pick you up.". I nodded while He get in his car. I waved him bye and turned to see a very,hh very angry Tristen glaring at me. I gulped in fear. He looked really dangerous if he could kill. I was dead on the floor.

"Come with me". He said pressing each and every word.
