" Here you go " he stop the bike infront of school gate as I sigh in relief .

" I hope now you believe I am not a kidnapper" I heard him laugh making my eyes widen .

" Ho- how do you know " I asked surprise and felt stupid at the same time " I was thinking that "

" Well you were muttering something through the whole ride I am guessing you are praying to God that I don't turned out to be a creep " a deep chuckle erupted from his throat as I closed my eyes feeling stupid.

" Hey it's better to be careful '' I tried to defend myself.

He nodded as he glance behind me , I turned around to see Tristen and Jennifer staring at us but what stuck me was Jennifer eyes were on the helmet guy .

" You should be get going " his voice was hard before I could nod he zoom past me leaving me all confused as I blink at his direction several times.

" Okaay...." I thought.

My eyes met Tristen as he look at me curious , I pretend to ignore him while passing him on my way and going inside the school.

" so who is that hot guy in the bike " Kacey wiggle her eyebrows at me which made me frown and roll my eyes at the same time because she has self declared herself my friend and being a polite person I cannot shove her all the time

I stop as I realized something " oh no "

" What" she stop as well while frowning at me.

" I didn't ask his name neither I saw his face " I frown feeling extremely stupid.

"You don't know him " she ask frowning.

I glance at her again feeling stupid " no I don't " I face palm myself " I should have ask his name"

" Duh.. you should have he look extremely hot " she chuckled while making a way to class . I catch her while frowning " no that's not why I want to know his name "

We sat on our respective seat " then " she raised her perfect eyebrows.

" he help me today " I showed her my bandaged elbow.

Her eyes widen " are you okay" concern spread all over her face which made me smile slightly. She really think me as her friend.

" yeah I am fine don't worry I smile at her " she nodded at my word just then my phone bing indicating that there is a text message came.

I smile as I open his text

" Who was that guy you came with today??"

I felt my heart skip a beat as I read his text again and again.

Oh my God is he jealous or something???

I tried to calm my heart as I type " I was late so he drop me off "

I giggle thinking about him being jealous for me but my imaginary bubble busted as Jennifer and Tristen entered the class hand in hand making my heart tighten.

His eyes met mine but he immediately averted it and gave a breathtaking smile to Jennifer.

" when did this happen " Kacey whispered behind me while I look down trying not to stare at them.

" You okay '' I felt a nudge as I glance at Kacey.

I gave her a tight smile " of course I am okay "

" Don't worry maybe the helmet guy is your prince charming " she wink at me making my eyes widen .

" yeah right " I chuckle sarcastically.

And focused on the class as soon as the teacher entered .

After the school was over I waited for Tristen to come pick me up but instead a text came

" sorry Jade , Jennifer asked me to drop her home but I will make it up to you I promise"

I put down my phone sighing to myself as I walk toward my home alone and this time helmet man didn't came.

Jade p.o.v

After walking back to school , I felt my leg were killing me so as soon as I get home I walk upstairs and dumb myself on the bed feeling exhausted . For the first time in life I didn’t went to school with Tristen and deep down I know this is going to happen more frequently and need to buckle myself tightly for this painful ride of my life.

All the memories of Tristen started playing in my mind when I didn’t even realize that I dose off but groan when I heard the door bell rang making me groan . “ MOM OPEN THR DOOE PLEASE” I shouted at the top of my lung and put pillow on my head and about to slip in my deep slumber when the bell rang again which made me growl angrily.

“ WHO THE HELL WANT TO DIE TODAY” I groan while going downstairs stomping my feet angrily.

I look here and there to see mom is not here with an irritated look I open the door only to see none other than my so called best friend who dump me today to spend time with his new girlfriend.

“ What “ I crossed my arm around my chest while giving him irritated look.

“ Hello to you too “ he look at me unsure while showing me box of pizza and cold drink.

“ The pizza and cold drinks are allowed but you are not “ I snatch the pizza from his hand and entered the living room.

“ hey that’s not fair “ he followed me nevertheless.

“ Yeah you dumbing me for your new girlfriend is fair “ I munch the pizza damn I was so hungry…

“ Hey I am sorry and I know what I did was wrong but you know Jennifer and I kind a thing now and-“ I cut him off.

“ And now you need to spend more time with her I understand “ I said calmly all the anger I felt where blew like a smoke.

“ HEY!!” I shouted as he push me rudely so that he can sit on the couch .

“ such a gentleman” I said in overly girly voice while he chuckled.

“ Look Jade , you are my best friend and that is never going to change okay … “ He hung his arm around my neck making choke on my food .

“ Get off me you bulldozer “ I frown at his hand weight .

“ I am a bulldozer” he pretended to be hurt while I nodded busy chewing my pizza while the mozzarella stretch like a thread .

“ OWW “ I squeal in surprise as he started tickling me making my eyes widen.

‘’ Tristen” I tried to get away from him but he clutch my hand making me feel like a prisoner and started tickling mr to no end.

“ Hahahaha- Tri,- hahaha- stop- Tristen “ I fell on the floor while he hover over me tickling me mercilessly.

“ say that I am the most handsome person on this earth “ he blackmail me.

“ over my haha de dead bo -body “ I didn’t gave up and he increase his torcher .

“OKAY !! OKAY YOU ARE THE MOST HANDSOME MAN IN THIS WORLD” I shouted at the top of my lung hoping that he will leave me but my breath stop as I realized how close we were , he was on top of me staring at me with an unknown emotion I cleared my throat as he came out of his thoughts .

He immediately got up “ see I made you said it “ he tried to make the environment comfortable so I played along .

“ Whatever , you blackmail me or eles I would never say that “ I stick my tongue out as we both laugh not realizing that this going to be our last best friend moment.

After that night Tristen priority change , He started spending more time with Jennifer not that I complain about it but it just that He completely forget about me which hurt me more then anything .

AFTER 2 MONTH

‘’Jade have you packed your bags properly’’ My mother peaked in my room.

I smiled at her’’ yes mom I did ‘’

I am shifting to New York with my parent , since my dad want to start a business over there I haven’t told Tristen yet , not that He will care much . after that night Tristen start spending more time with Jennifer not that I am complaining but He completely forget about me all he can do is say sorry with excuse that He will make up later but that later never came. I remember the day when He propose Jennifer infront of the whole high school.

I was standing with my book when Tristen shouted Jennifer name standing at the center of the campus , she turned to look at him confuse just like everyone else.

Just then at Tristen sign her to look up and with her we all look up only to see a plane going with a cloth tied at the end saying I LOVE YOU…….

Everyone gap at Tristen gesture which made their mouth hung open .

Jennifer ran to him and kissed him … I guess she love him too

My eyes welled up in tears no matter how hard I tried the pain of seeing the love of your life in someone eles arm is unbearable for me . I ran away from there not being able to see them anymore . I felt suffocated and hopeless. Why it pain so much when someone you love so much started replacing you with someone eles. So when dad asked me to shifted with them I eagerly agreed I need to get away from here too.

With teary eyed I dialed his number, I haven’t informed him that him we are leaving .

‘’ hey Jade what’s up ‘’ his voice was cheerfull as usual.

‘’hii… Tristen I needed to informed you something’’ I said with shaky breath.

‘’ yeah what’’ he asked

‘’ I am shifting to New York’’ I closed my eyes as soon those words left my mouth.

There was a silence for a second ‘’ you are kidding right!!....’’ his voice was hard.

‘’ I am afraid , I am not’’ I whispered.

‘’ tell your parent to go alone , you not go with them’’ I frown at his demanding tone.

‘’ No Tristen I cannot live without them ‘’ I said annoyed.

He sigh ‘’ when are you going ‘’

‘’ today …. In fact now’’

‘’WHAT !! NO WAY I WONT LET YOU GO , WAIT I AM COMING’’ with that he hung up letting the tear slip from my eyes .

‘’ you have to let me go Tristen…..’’

‘’JADE WE ARE READY LETS GO ‘’ my mother shouted from downstairs.

I was about to enter my car when Tristen shouted ‘’Jade …’’ Tristen shouted my name.

‘’ please don’t go ‘’ he ran toward me making my eyes welled up.

‘’ am sorry I have too’’ I hug him while he hug me tightly like his life depend on me.

‘’ what I will do with out you … please don’t go please …..’’ he cried.

‘’ well you have Jeniffer now , the love of your life , don’t worry you wont miss me much because of her’’ I tried to smiled.

‘’ Jade… ‘’ before he could say more .

‘’ take care bye … best friend ‘’ I tried to cheer him up but the tear in his eyes broke my heart.

Without second glance I sat inside the car as my father started driving us to to our destination , I look at the mirror to see Tristen standing still.
