I watched Tristen walking out from the class . I had the urged to call him out and stop him from going out when the class is about to start but I couldn't no one knows he is my best friend and we both want to keep it in that way .

" Do you have a thing for him " a girl beside me spoke which took me off-guard .

" I am sorry " I felt annoyed of her asking me a question I mean I don't even know her how can she ask something like this .

" Jade right " I sigh as she spoke again .

" Yes " I look at her

She smiled " Kacey , I am new to this school " she offer her hand .

" Jade " I shook my hand.

" So Jade are you in a relationship with him" she ask making my eye widen .

I glare at her " what makes you think that "

She surrender her hand in the air " I saw you getting out from his car in the morning and you both don't even look at eachother in the school whole day , I mean you do, he doesn't " I stared at her bluntness .

She blinked realising she speak too much " sorry I am just straight forward and this is the reason I don't have friends here " she shrugged het shoulder and got back to work .

After sometime debating to tell her the truth or not I finally decided to tell her .

" He is not my boyfriend , he is my best friend and as you see , he is popular around here , I don't want people to count me as his girlfriend " I shrugged my shoulder .

" But you want to " she said like it's a fact .

I stared her for a second " yeah you are really straight forward " I force a fake smile and got back to work.

" Where are you " I frown at the text .

" It's morning where I should be " I texted back rudely.

I don't understand what is my brother problem always tries to interfere in my life , I hate him .

" Mom is saying you didn't came last night and you didn't have breakfast when you came back " he texted back making me clenched my fist.

" Mind your own business" I texted back angrily.

" We need to talk come back soon " he replied if ignoring my rudeness.

" Whatever " with that I closed my phone .

He is the perfect son for my Dad and mom while I am a spoil brat in their eyes , whatever he does is right and what I do is always wrong . No matter how hard I try he is the best .

Height of hypocrisy.

I shook my head and put my phone in my bag , just then I saw Tristan coming toward me . I mentally roll my eyes , I know he has big crush on me since the day he laid his eyes on me from then he follows me like a puppy dog which irritate me something but one thing I cannot ignore is that he has look which girls will die for.

Tristen is my friend since we belongs to popular group so we have common friends who wants us to date , they think we will be popular couple , it's not that Tristan is not good looking or something in fact he is the handsome guy in our school but you see when you know the guy is head over heels for you . He became less attractive and boring.

And I was in a relationship that time but my boyfriend or I say my ex-boyfriend cheated on me , thinking about that made my blood boil in anger that son of a- but I hold my word since Tristan is coming toward me and I don't want anyone to know that my boyfriend cheated on me . My reputation will ruin and my friends will make fun of me and most important my so called brother will proved to be right when he said that he is not a good guy . But I will take revenge from him and my brother no one will be spared of hurting me .

"Are you okay?"? Tristen asked me siting opposite by me. He look really worried for me . I rolled my eyes mentally I know why did he came here. He must have heard about my break up from his friends.

''Yeah....I am fine". I nodded with a tight smile.

"So, why are you so angry in morning"?.He question me

"Sorry about that I was not in a great mood so". I said to him looking down.

" okay " . He said feeling not satisfy with my answer. " If you need anything I am here for you " he whispered staring at me and I look up to see the genuine concern for me in his face . Is he really love me ?

There was an akward silence between us . As we both didn't spoke for a minute.

Then I get up and " Okay Tristen see you later." I wanted to go away as soon as possible because of this uncomfortable silence . I felt like he wanted to say something but instead He nodded and smile at me .

I took my bag from the chair and I was about to leave when he stop me.

"Wait" He said and I turned around to know what he want to say.

Aahhh ....... He was looking little nervous he rubbed his temple with his palm then again face me.

"Will you go with me on a date tonight???? "He said in a very nervous tone. I raised my eyes browse at him

She raised her eyes brows at my praposal. I think she will gonna refuse me. What the hell was I thinking??

"yes" she shrugged and waving me bye while walking away
