I hear a voice...?

Whose voice is this...?

"Wake up! Hey (Y/n) wake up!"

My eyes fly open upon hearing the sound of the familiar voice.

"Oh! You're awake!" Revel smiles as he wipes off a few tears. I look around us, a white room. I peer down and see Yuno sleeping on the side of the bed that I was laying in.

"Revel...where are we?" I ask him as I sit up.

"We're in the infirmary of Head Quarters, after your fight with the diamond guys the Queen had some beef with Asta and his friends, but Vanessa defeated her and the Queen healed all of you guys, but you used too much magic so she couldn't just give you magic, so she healed your injuries and you're here! Asta told Yuno and we rushed here, he stayed up all night and you were out for an ENTIRE DAY!" Revel scolds me.

"Okay okay!" I say sheepishly as he cries a little more.

This Guardian Angel, seriously.

I look over at the window.

It's already dawn....

"(Y/n)!"Yuno's voice rings through my mind as I'm suddenly enveloped in warmth.

"Yuno!" I catch a whiff of his familiar scent and immediately hug him back.

"Hey there."I smile as he hugs me softly.

He sits back and looks at me in the eye.

"Welcome back."He says as he smiles.

"" I say warmly as I hear the words reach my heart, I rub my eyes.

"Where is everyone?"I ask as I look over to the beside table, only to see Belle fast asleep.

"Everyone is preparing for the festival." Yuno answers.

"Festival?" I question as I move my legs over to the side of the bed.

"Yeah, when the Wizard King awards stars to the Magic Knights Brigades in recognition of their achievements, brigades compete to see who can get the most stars and there's a social event where they announce the number of stars won from April to the end of the following March, then determine the top brigade of that year. This event is held in the full view of the public, the people of The Clover Kingdom know and love it as the biggest festival of the year, it's called the Star Festival." Yuno explains.

"Great, when does it start?"I ask as I stand up.

"Today, at 8." He answers, I stand still.

"WHAT. THE FESTIVAL IS TODAY! HOLY CRAP! I NEED TO GET DRESSED ASAP!" I looked down at my white gown and sigh.

"I'll see you at the festival!" I yell as I grab Revel by his wing and high tail out of the infirmary and towards my room on the OTHER SIDE of the building.

I quickly shower and get dressed in my normal clothing, as I put on my shoes I look up at the clock.

Holy Crap! It's 7:30!

I quickly grab my robe and shove Revel into my hoodie of my robe and burst through the doors, I grab a broom stick and high tail towards the Royal Capital at full speed.

Everyone is already so rowdy!

I smile as I peer down at the civilians on the outskirts of the city. I look up and see the church clock strike 8.

Shit.

I speed up and see the city center and already crowded with people and Julius giving his speech.

Wait is that...ASTA AND YUNO ON THE STAGE!?

"And another rookie from the Crimson Lions should be here, but she got caught up in an injury, so I gu-"I cut Julius off as he was about to finish his sentence.

"Wait! I'm here!" I yell as I get off my broom and land on the stage next to Yuno and Asta.

"I'm sorry, I'm late." I sigh as I hold my broom stick.

"Now that was quite an entrance. This is (Y/n), the Crimson Lions most destructive rookie. Of the new members, Yuno, Asta and (Y/n) are placed in the top three among the rookies where star acquisition is concerned. We expect great things from these three new stars. It's only been half a year since they entered this country, but in that time they've built magnificent records. They're childhood friends from the same town. Not only that, they're only just 16." Julius praises us, murmurs spread around.

"Whoa! Those three are young, but they're incredible!"

"Are they nobles from somewhere?"

"No! I hear they all are peasants from the boondocks! Not only that, they say that Asta kid is a cheating skunk with no magic what so ever!" A voice yells out.

Why this jerk...

I grit my teeth as the people murmur among themselves again, negatively.

"Peasants?"

"They can't be..."

"Do you think they really won those fairly?!"

I feel someone nudge me in the side of my arm and I look up to see Yuno, he mouths to me.

Let's...show...them...what we're made of...? Right.

I jump up and back flip, landing next to Yuno. He releases his full power as the audience gasps.

"Yuno? What are you doing?" Asta asks.

Let's roll.

I take out my grimoire and release my full magic power.

"Asta, doesn't this remind you of the training we did together?"Yuno asks.

"Block it this time!" I smile as I pull my arm up like Yuno. Asta realizes and pulls his sword out as we blast our attacks, he cuts through them and the after wind blows through the audience.

"Hey!WHY DO YOU GUYS ALWAYS DO STUFF LIKE THAT OUT OF NO WHERE HUH?!" Asta yells at us.

"PLANNING TO OFF ME IN THE MIDDLE OF MY BIG MOMENT, YOU JERKS!"Asta yells again.

"I'm glad you survived. If you'd died from a thing like that, you would have deserved it." Yuno states.

Yuno...cold as always that jerk....

I secretly snicker as I see them bicker back and forth.

"What phenomenal magic?!"

"And he that magic?!"

"Now that you've seen their powers, if anyone still doubts their achievements, let them come forward. It's true that these three are peasants. However, they have worked harder than anyone else to get here. Proud citizens of the Clover Kingdom, a round of applause for these three new Magic Knights! and " Julius finishes his speech with a strong end as he raises a fist in the air, the crowd fills with joy and cheer.

"Hey guys..." I start.

"Yea.."Yuno answers.

"I know.."Asta says back.

We actually, got this far...

I smile as I look down at the cheering crowd.

"Now that you're all fired up! I'll announce the remaining rankings!" Julius continues.

"In third place, the Silver Eagles with 95 stars! In fourth, the Blue Rose Knights with 83 stars! In fifth place, the Crimson Lion Kings with 76 stars!" I peer over at our new captain.

A woman? She looks sort of familiar...

"In sixth place, the Green Praying Mantises with 69 stars! Seventh place, the Coral Peacocks with 67 stars! In eighth place, the Purple Orcas with 51 stars! And in ninth place, The Aqua Deer with 49 stars!"I look over at Rill who stands there still.

"We-we're last! W-Why?! What happened!?" He screeches in horror, he runs over to Asta and tackles him.

"ASTTTAAAA! HOW DID YOU MANAGE TO GET ALL THOSE STARS!?" He cries.

He's cute...wait what am I thinking...

I shake my head and look back at my new Captain.

I do hope Captain Fuegoleon wakes up soon though...

I spot a pair of eyes looking at me and I look over to see Nozel staring back, I put on a questioning face, his eyes widen and he looks away immediately.I sigh and shrug my shoulders.

What's with him anyways...

I feel another pair of eyes staring at me from the back, I turn and I spot William staring at my back, we make eye contact and he smiles, in slight shock I look back towards the crowd and pretend not to see it.

"Long live the Magic Knights!"

"Long live the Magic Emperor!"

"Alright, now that the achievements have been announced, here's what you've all been waiting for! Presenting the Royal King of the Clover Kingdom!" Julius motions towards the tunnel behind him as the crowd quiets down.

"The king?! Come to think of it, what's the king of this country like anyway?!" Asta yelps as I elbow him in the rib.

"Shhhh!" I scold him as he rubs the side of his ribs, the king comes out of the shadows.

Erm.....

"Don't stand directly beside me." The King whispers to Julius.

"Oh. Uh-huh." Julius answers bluntly as he side steps away.

"Erm Ahem! Good day to you my people. I am Augustus Kira Clover XIII, Royal king of the Clover Kingdom, the people nervously cheer.

"Yaaaaaaaay....Long live the king...."The king sighs deeply.
