That's it!!
I lift my head up in a jolt when it clashes with another.
"OUCH!"I rub my forehead in annoyance as I spot the book that landed on me and reached for it.
"Blood Recovery Magic!" I yelp as I flip it back up to the page I was looking at.
"Blood Recovery Magic? And just how exactly are you going to get that?" Gauche asks me as he raises a brow.
"That's what we're gonna find out."I answer as I look the page over.
"In the Forest or Witches, the Queen there has powerful magic, she has even lived up to over 400 years. The forest is located in the region off the borders of The Diamond Kingdom and The Clover Kingdom. The population is made of entirely females who specialise in the use of special magics like curses and familiars." I read the information out loud as I sit up against the bookshelf. Unnoticing that Gauche has been staring and not listening.
"So we gotta go the forest of witches and get the Queen to promise to heal Asta."I finish.
Silence...?
I peer up from my book and see light brown orbs staring into mine.
"Gau...che?"I whisper in a questioning voice.
The image of Asta and his smile suddenly flashes in my mind, except, the smile was a sad one, and his arms....
Weren't healed... No. I need to heal them, I can't waste time.
"I need to get going, Asta's arms aren't going to heal himself."I say with with a determined voice, I push Gauche slight and quickly stand up, gunning for the door.
"I'LL GET YOU NEXT TIME YOU RASCAL!"A shriek hollers behind me.
Yikes! That's the librarian!
I pick up the pace and realise what's in my hand.

IT'S THE BOOK! AND I STOLE IT AND THE LIBRARIAN HATES ME, ISN'T THIS JUST GREAT?!?
"NO! This isn't the time!"I mentally slap myself as I spot a broom shop.
I dig through my purse and pull out coins and threw them into the hands of the seller.
"One broom!"I yell,
I grab one and take off.
I pull out the book and check the location again.
I'll need to take an hour and a bit to get there...
I look down at the back of my palms.
Half a sun...I could get there in less than hour if I use all the collected magic, but I might need it...urggghhh screw it!
I shove the book back into my bag and clutch the broom stick adding immense magic into it, it halts and speeds through into the air.
Asta! Just wait!
I sense.... a force field of magic around that area... it must be the Queen's territory...
I slow down, and stare down at my hands.
The suns are completely gone and I used a bit of my magic too...
I head straight, when I start to see dark blobs outside the sphere.
I fly closer and notice a few head figures.
The Eye of the Midnight Sun and... The Diamond Kingdom?!? This can't be good...
I blink and a sudden boom bursts infront of the force field, it's deflects and the forest outside of it lit up.
That didn't look too good...
A giant mud monster starts to rise and other blotches start to appear beside it, it charges towards the Diamonds before it got holes blasted into it.
That didn't look good either...
I wave my hand and my grimoire flies up from my hip pouch. It flips till I make a halt.
"Heavenly Sky Magic: Sky on Water Reflection." A crystal rainbow mirror appears and I go into it, pulling my broom with me.

(A portal to transport different items or humans has to go through another third dimension before arriving, but in special cases, it could arrive instantly depending on the distance of the third dimension and the skill level of the mage)
I lay low inside the mirror as it zips past the Diamond army.
"TODAY MY OPPONENT ARE THESE WRETCHED WITCHES!! GET EM!!" A loud voice booms above me, as mages zoom past, they start attacking the witches.
Asta can wait, these people need help!
I chuck my broom out the mirror and jump onto it.
"Hey! Take on someone your own size!" I yell pointing at the guy 'in charge'.
"GRAB ANYONE THAT LOOKS VALUABLE AND TAKE THEM WITH YOU! THESE WITCHES EXCEL IN MAGIC.THEY'L MAKE GREAT SLAVES! As for that pretty girl... She'll make it for tonight's entertainment!"The guy licks his lips as he eyed me up and down.
Oh no you don't.
Vines fly my way as I dodge them, they reach out to the girls behind me.
"Heavenly Sky Magic: Moon Waltz!" A blade of wind cuts through all the vines as they release the witches, the mages start charging at us.
"Oh no you don't do that either! Heavenly Sky Magic: Star Galaxy!" A series of stars appear and spin towards the mages, they slow down leaving the mages to stop in confusion.
"Boom."I whisper to myself as I smile a little bit, the stars explode and throws the mages off course as they fall down into the forest, knocking down at least 13 of them.
"FOOLS!"The guy in charge yells.
A member of The Eye of the Midnight Sun is in charge of the Diamonds? What is going here?
"That's! That's the anti-magic sword that defeated Lord Vetto!" Someone shrieks.
Anti-magic sword!?!?
I whip my head around and see Asta, using his arms.
Holding his swords...?
I look behind him and spot Vanessa and his friends, I look back at Asta, warmth filling my heart.
You have such great friends.
I lose myself in my thoughts as something quick comes down above me, I quickly dodge and make eye contact with the person who tried to kill me.
"Asta!?"I yelp.
But he was just over there!
"Ohhhh! (Y/n)! Did ya come to help?" He asks.
To help you get your arms back, but I guess you already have them so I'll just roll with it.
"Yea I did."I give him a smile, then it just dawned on me.
"DID YOU JUST TRY TO KILL ME!?"I yell loudly as I grab his ear in mid air since he couldn't fly.
"I'm sorry! Forgive me!"He yelps, I sigh and give a soft smile, plopping him down on my broom as he rubs his ear.
I suddenly hear a sizzle behind us.
""Fana booms over us as she rode on her salamander.
That's! Fana!

Crossroads
On the continent of Khaan, a peculiar boy escapes from his hidden village to find a land to call home. Suppressed ambitions are unveiled as a head-strong princess defies the emperor. New kingdoms expand as the old decay. This is a story of those who lived in the times of change. Dear Reader, Thank you for stopping by! This is my first attempt at writing something of more substantial length and would be incredibly grateful to receive feedback and advice. The plan is to post at least a chapter a week and more if I find time. Also, in order to not disappoint any expectations; the story plays in a fictional world reminiscent of the real world 17th to 19th century with some supernatural elements, but no obvious magic or game-like system.

Dungeon Misfits
(Warning: The story is still currently in a poor quality state, read on at your own risk.) After the devastating great war, many people were left with poverty, hardship and starvation. Due to this, miscreants and mendicants were a common occurrence here. Thus at such hard times, many different kinds of desperate people would try to delve and discover various dangerous dungeons. And it was at such times, where different people and monsters converge, that various interesting stories and situations could happen. It could be about an aspiring necromancer seeking to find a place in the dungeon in order to seclude himself to his studies and research on necromancy. It could be a story of a struggling group of bandits, deserters and highwaymen using a dungeon cave as a hideout. Even about a bunch of struggling newbies adventurers stumbling in a dungeon. Or perhaps about a certain diabolist, a witch, and a rogue who are ostracised by others due to their professions, being forced to work together as a team in a dungeon. All the while, encountering even more eccentric people on the way. Different people, different situations, but whatever happens inside the dungeon remains to be seen.

Gaslgiht
There is a common line of questioning that falls upon students within their first moments at Kingsly. “Why?”. The student asks, “Why am I here?”. This is a futile line of questioning. There are those who remember, and those who do not. I’ll spare you the technical explanation — that’s what we have teachers for. The jist is as follows: those who remember are... how do I put this... more likely. They occupy more time. and the space that time has allowed them — the pertinent amount — is experienced no matter what. Allow me to offer you a bit of personal information: I am not one who remembers. There is no time relevant to me, no space that I occupy. I exist by carving myself here, and continue to exist in the same fashion. You would do well to follow suit. Why am I here? Because I force myself to be. Because the universe, the universes, for all its kicking and screaming, cannot escort me out.

Zarif, a demi-human slave of orcs and goblins is brutally murdered when he does not accomplish the impossible - awakens to find himself resting within the arms of an elderly woman with tears in her eyes. ____________________________________________________________________________ As I like to be a little creative in the way I write, there might be a few mistakes per chapter - so be sure to notify me in the comments if you think something seems wrong. You might be confused as you read on since I switch about constantly, but please continue reading and maybe leave a comment on why you did not like what you read and decided to drop the story.
