The sound of the wind blows against William's face, making an outline.
There's a scar....
"That's one heck of a scar. Did you get it in battle?" Yami asks.
"No. I was born with it. They called me a cursed child. Even magic couldn't fix this scar, you see. The people around me thought it was creepy and they were afraid of me. I was the illegitimate child of a certain noble. Until I was eight, I lived in the forsaken realm. However, when the noble lost it's heir, I was taken in by an aristocrat. Fortunately, I had a great deal of magical power, and my World Tree Magic was viewed as a curiousity. However, they loathed my face. In addition, the noble's lawful wife, my foster mother, abused me. It was a hellish childhood."
"You've had it rough too, huh."
I never knew... and yet I accused him so much...was I actually wrong...?
I snap out of my thoughts as William continues his story.
"But in the midst of all that, I met Julius. He didn't care about my appearance, all he saw was my power. He gave me my mask. I was so . I wanted to pledge my grimoire to his service."
Silence soon followed.
"Sorry. I didn't to make you feel bad." Yami apologises.
"No, I'm glad I was able to tell you how things really are. Thank you Yami."
"I see..."
"Captain Vangeance! The Diamonds have begun retreating!" A voice notifies William as they finish their conversation.
"Shall we go too? Transporting the captives can be such a chore." William inquires.
"Yeah... oh. If we're moving captives, I brought some handy people along. Let's work em hard." Yami adds.
"Within reason, Yes." William answers with a slight laugh. I cancel the spell and try to remember his face.
I was wrong...
I start to head back Asta and Yuno, I jump down the tree and spot Yuno talking with a hazel haired male.
"Yuno!" I yell as I jump down from my spot, I land and stand next to him.
"Hmm? Your lover?" The male says tilting his head, looking me up and down.
"No. She's my friend from home." Yuno answers as his gaze looks down on me.

"Hmmmm. Sure, sure." The other male laughs as he walks up to me, he pulls out a hand.
"Langris Vaude." He says, I shake his hand in reply.
"(Y/n), nice to meet you." I say as I shake his hand, we break apart and I face Yuno.
"Where did Asta go?" I ask him.
"He went up there." Yuno says as he shifts his gaze to the wall.
"Right... we should probably start rounding up the captives."I suggest as I look behind me, a bunch of knocked out Diamond people around the place.
I open the doors to my room and collapse on my bed, Revel flies out from my hood and goes into his small bed, to sleep more.
I get up and take a shower before flopping on my bed again. I close my eyes and drift off to sleep.
"(Y/n)! (Y/n)!" A voice from outside the my door calls me, I sit up drowsily and rub my eyes.
"Coming! Gimme a minute!"I yell as I put on my normal clothes I open the door as I grab my Crimson Lion's robe from my table.
"Yes!" I yell as I chuck my robe on and open the door.
"Finral!?" I exclaim in surprise as I see him at my doorway.
"H-hey." He says sheepishly.
"What brings you here?" I ask him as I open the door into my room.
"Actually..." He starts. I motion for him to sit on my chair as I sit on my bed to hear what he has to say. He takes a seat and faces me.
"The reason I'm here....it's actually about Asta."
"Asta?"I question as I raise an eyebrow.
"Yea. I overheard something...when Asta was getting healed...The doctor said, He said, that there probably is an ancient curse on his arms, and all of his bones as shattered, and we the magic they have now, they "
No...no...this can't be happening...
I stand up from my bed, dulls eye and tears.
"Why does fate hate him so much? I hate it. I hate it...I hate fate....No. I LOATHE FATE..."
(Y/n) mumbles over and over, Finral grabs her by the shoulders.

"Get it together! All the Black Bull Members are volunteering to help Asta in finding a cure! I actually want you to help us find a cure..." Finral trails off as (Y/n)'s breathing slowed down, she sits back down on the bed.
Asta, you have so many good friends....
"I'll help!" (Y/n) blurts out after she had calmed down.
"Great! Noelle and I are heading to some old friends to see if they have an idea of a cure, they're runaways from the Diamond Kingdom, would you like to tag along?" Finral asks her.
I want to...but I need information first...
"I'll actually head down to the royal library and take a look. I have a hunch I'll find some thing there."She quickly concludes her thoughts and wipe away the remnants of her tears, she quickly jumps up and grabs Finral's arm and headed for the door.
"By the way, Gau- WHOA!"The two come to a sudden halt outside next to the broom sticks.
"We need to be quick, the quicker we heal Asta's arms the better." (Y/n) hushes Finral as she picks up a broom and chucks another at Finral.
"I'm off now, if ANYTHING happens, send me a note with the Messaging Magic item!" (Y/n) yells, she hops onto her broom stick.
I arrive at the royal library and quickly enter it as soon as I set my broom down.
The first section was Sorcery, I skim through the isles and my eyes land on a certain figure.
"Quit mumbling and search!" An irritated voice yells.
Telling people what to do...like always.
The figure looks up from his book and notices me looking.
"Oh. It's you."
"Hello Gauche."I force a smile as he turns the other way.
"Here to help Pasta too?"He questions as he flies on his broom to the next shelf.
"You too I'm guessing."I answer back as I start looking at the shelves on the other side.
"Hmmmm...normally I wouldn't care, but this is a special case." Gauche states.
"Figures..."I mumble.
If it's not Marie he wouldn't even bat an eye...
I pull down a book and open it in thought.
But he said it was a special case, so I guess Asta is special?
I stop at a page and skim it through.
A curse can't necessarily be healed...but negated? Actually.... Finral said his bones were shattered...with an ancient curse...curing the bones might make the 'curse' vanish....
"We weren't looking in the right place..."I close the book and run to the Rituals Section.
I skim along the hard backs of the books and my eyes land on a particular one.
I pull it out and look for the chapter.
Healing Non-Curses-Methods
I quickly flip over to the chapter and start reading.
The most powerful magic ever known to lift any curse or injury is the Reigning Elixir, this liquid is impossible to obtain, and is said that one drop can replenish an entire army in a near death state, cursed or not. However, ways of this elixir has been long forgotten, and the elves of the past are the only ones who know how to acquire it.
"WHAT!? SO I CAN'T GET THIS!?"I yell in frustration as I furiously flip to the next page.
"Pi! Keep it down! This is the library! Do you them to kick you out!?" Gauche yells from behind me, I jolt up from the book as I hear his voice.
"Alright, alright. I just need to read this part to find out how to heal Asta..."I turn back to my book as Gauche finds a sudden interest in it too.
"Lemme see that."He takes the book as starts to scan the page I was reading.
"Hey! I was reading it!" I yell again.
"Quiet!" The librarian screeches from the other corner of the large room. Gauche snickers.
"Why you!" I mutter angrily. I jump onto his back and try to get my book back when he tumbles off his broom. We fall backwards with me on the bottom.
*smack*
The open book smacks into my face as I thump onto the floor with Gauche on top of me, he had his arms on both sides of my head and my legs in between his.
I open my eyes as I see the dark pages of the book, a certain sentence crosses my eyes.
That's it!!
