"Welcome, young men and women. You each will begin walking down a new path starting today. I wish you have faith, hope and love. I am the master of this grimoire tower. We haven't had a wizard king from this area, nor have we have achieved greatness by joining the magic knights. I sincerely wish that someone among you will become the wizard king, I'M SERIOUS HERE! Now, it's time for the awarding of the Grimoires!"A bright light clouded the shelves as one by one the books start to fall from the top, immersed in bright magic, each grimoire lands in the hands of their owner.
"Ummm.....My grimoire's not coming." Asta says on one knee with his arms wide open.
Silence
.
.
.
"Uh, try again next year."The Master says.
"No way! That's too funny!" Someone shouts.
"I guess it's what you expect from the slums. I didn't think he'd be this pathetic." a man snortles.(Y/n) over hears. She marches up to the man and grabs him by the collar.
"OH, YOU'LL BE IN THE SLUMS IN A SECOND."She yells in his face.
"Oh, another one with no grimoire, what did I expect?"He smirks.
(Y/n) smirks.
"Oh, my grimoire is coming, just you wait. Speaking of it, it'r right there." She points to a thick book that's making it's way towards her, it erupts in a tornado before landing in her hand.
"Woah! It's the Hex Halo!"Someone shouts.
"Isn't that the grimoire that is said to be invincible? I heard that a long time ago, the grimoire was delivered from heaven by a fallen angel, it was believed to have the power of God himself!I didn't know it actually existed."The person behind him says.
The grimoire was pure white with golden decorations, in the center was a golden hexagon.

Another light shone through, everyone turns.
" A FOUR LEAF CLOVER?!"
"'ll become the Magic Emperor." Yuno says to everyone.
"You've got guts Yuno, I'll be the Magic Emperor."(Y/n) says poking her tongue out. Everyone erupts in cheers, already making bets on who is actually going to become the Magic Emperor.
"(Y/n)!Yuno! Just you guys wait! I'll catch up soon enough, after all, We're RIVALS!" Asta says determined.
"Big talk from a guy who didn't even receive his grimoire!"
"You? Their rival? Talk about clueless!"
Yuno looks at him, he starts walking, past Asta.
"There's no way."He says.
I just felt a stroke of pain....What was that?
(Y/n) regains her composure and walks up to Asta.
"Don't listen to that cold hearted jerk, I believe in you." (Y/n) says patting his shoulder. Murmurs start to spread.
"That girl is just way too nice, is that even pity?" Asta looks down before looking up and straight into her eyes.
"I will, just wait for me (Y/n)!" He says determined as they fist bump.
"That's mine!" little Yuno shouts, chasing after the man who has his necklace.
"I'm going to change it into cash, boy." He says, attempting to get Yuno off his case.
"Besides, this item is too nice for a poor orphan to have. In this world magic is everything! Die you want to have a magic duel with me and die?" He asks murderously. Tears spill from Yuno's eyes, yet he dares not the let a sound from his mouth. In a flash Asta rushes from behind Yuno and tackles the man.
"That belongs to Yuno!" Asta shouts.
"Give it back!" The man slaps Asta, causing him to fall back. A little girl dashes over and tries to help Asta up.

"Get off me little punk! You dirty orphan!" The thug shouts in anger. The little stands tall.
"Hey mister! That necklace belongs to Yuno! Asta asked you once to return it! I'm asking you again before I have to attack you!" She shouts in a high pitched voice, with her arms crossed.
"Wait, (y/n)! I'M NOT DONE YET!" Asta stands up and tackles him again.
"Asta!"(Y/n) shouts, charging into the man with him.
After a few sequences of shoving and charging...
"Fine, you can have it back!"The man says and throws it. (Y/n) runs and catches it.Yuno goes over to Asta to see if he's okay.
"I'll prove that even people like us can becomes someone amazing! Even though I'm a poor orphan who can't use magic yet. I'll become the Magic Emperor!" Asta says
"Me too."Yuno says. (Y/n) rushes over upon hearing their conversation.
"Me three!" She shouts handing Yuno his necklace back.
"I'll become the Magic Emperor too!" (Y/n) shouts.
"Seriously? Even though your a girl?" Asta asks her. (Y/n) pouts her lips and points at Asta.
"You can't under estimate girls!" She shouts.
"Then we'll make a promise! We'll see who will become the Magic Emperor!" Yuno says, we all give each other a fist bump.
Yuno and (Y/n) carry Asta back to the church, back at the church, Sister Lily starts healing Asta, (Y/n) didn't suffer much injures just a few minor bruises and scratches , she looked like she got in a fight with a cat more than a thug.
"Hey, (Y/n), you have a scratch here."Yuno says pointing at her knuckles. (Y/n) looks at her knuckles.
"Hmmm, I guess I got it when I fell." She says.
"Does it hurt?" He asks.
"A little bit."
"Here!"Yuno says, grabbing her hand and kissing the spot where the scratch was.
"Father told me that kissing places that hurt makes it feel better!" Yuno says happily.
"Oh, I think I feel better now, thanks Yuno! I'll go tell Sister Lily that she doesn't have to heal me anymore, because Yuno can heal me with kisses!" She says running off to Sister Lily.
"Why did I suddenly think about that now? Of all times?." (Y/n) sighs and rolls to the side, she was lying on the grass next to a small pond, near the demon skull. In the distance she sees Yuno and Asta fist bumping near the entrance of the tower.
I guess every thing worked out in the end, huh.

Riftwalker
Legend speaks that a roaring force of insatiable abyss lies beneath the peaceful overworld. Named the Rift after its chasm-like entrances, this unexplored void has consumed the underneath for eons. What had seemed just a myth crawled out of unreality in the form of eldritch creatures. Reborn as something not entirely human, mankind rejected the boy. Thrown into the Rift by people who feared him, he had to live in a world run by monsters as a newborn. Surviving, however, wasn't his only difficulty as he soon had to decide whether he would save the people who banished him or simply idle as the Rift engulfed all life. As of chapter 9, Riftwalker is on a very small hiatus. I'm very busy with work atm :( Here are a couple of things to expect: Lots of action and exploration! Diverse and refreshing creatures; There are good and evil. Satisfying progression and coming of age. The protagonist stands out but isn't overpowered. There are some litRPG elements, but it's not a determinant factor. The fights are decided through one's combat skill and experience and not stat-checking. Oh, and some other info: There is a bit of gore, but nothing disturbing. Occasionally, there will be images of the scenery and landscape. Chapters will be around 1,5k to 2k words long, and the releases will probably be relatively slow, sorry.

[Archive] Legend of the Nameless Hero
A WhiteSamurai original Web Novel There are always the mysterious tales of heroes, those who fight against the Demons, who fight for justice and those who head mighty quests against tyranny. Heroes that are born to destiny, Heroes that are forged through tragedy, and Heroes that are brought to the world in times of great peril and strife. Not all true Heroes are wanted or beloved, but all life understands, that throughout all time and space, for those who truly stand as Heroes, they never need to be called one. The sands of time are the only true judge for those who journey upon the true path, the only one they will ever need. This is the tale, no, the Legend, the Legend of the one who throughout all time, would forever be, the First Hero. This is Their story, a story of true hardship, of a sorrow greater than any other that would stand as a symbol of inspiration no matter the test of time. A tale of darkness, a true curse, an impending evil hidden beyond the horizons that threatened the very future of existence. This is the tale, of one of the few great figures, who, in the face of true evil, continued to stand. . . . _______________________________________________________________ :Disclaimer: _______________________________________________________________ . . . All Chapters are subject to sudden revision, scrapping, or complete removal from the canonical storyline. The author of "Legend of the Nameless Hero" uses RoyalRoad as a method of experimentation with genre's and writing styles for Fantasy-style works for the sake of eventual publication. The end result isn't to release perfect chapters on RoyalRoadl, but eventually develop the story as intended using the best material to produce the highest quality work. The best mentality when reading works from WhiteSamurai is to see it as the ability to read and review pre-release transcripts or "Rough Copies" before publication. Viewer discretion and maturity are both requested and required. . . . _______________________________________________________________ :About: _______________________________________________________________ . . . This story follows direct character point of views along with an intentional third person narrative to explain to the readers what the characters won't. (I don't use my characters to go give extensive explanations for every last thing like EVERYTHING DOES) This tale shall encompass the life of the Hero from the moment she is summoned into the Kingdom of Kremor, to the Legendary Final Clash. This isn't your run of the mill hack and slash raise an army and conquer, I don't follow that bandwagon. Real life holds politics, intrigue, economics, structure, populations, civil opinions, history, psychology, heart, suffering, wonder, advancement, curiosity, ambition, and so many more things that would lead to me hitting some character limit. I refuse to take the same route that others use by simply ignoring these factors, my worlds, my stories, are as real as they get. There's no plot armor here, if someone screws up, they've screwed up and there's no magical sword in a well for them. I write in 'Seasons' not 'Books' as many often do, these are generally, not always, hundreds of chapters long, though as I have yet to finish a season, the average length is in the air. I go by an ideal of what I call 'Universal Lore' which includes the policy that things that exist within the story don't follow the rule where the Protagonist needs to be there so that it will happen. There will be some things that will happen, and the hero, and sometimes the reader, won't know happened until they enter a place, or news gets to them. A person needs to be in the right place at the right time, I hate plot holes and meta characters above all else... For my works, comments are practically demanded as reactions, thoughts, and various viewpoints are like sweet fuel to my writing spirit. Reviews are highly accepted and appreciated, BUT ONLY IF THEY ARE EDUCATED AND THOROUGHLY EXPLAINED. Those that throw down a low rating ARE HIGHLY REQUESTED to extensively detail and explain their viewpoints on the work. They should also be willing to come back to the work at a later date if messaged by the Author, Me, due to issues they mentioned being taken care of. I'm never against scrapping a chapter or rewriting several paragraphs if there are character or story discrepancies. I want the highest quality work possible, and every comment, every review, are tools for me to use to further that goal. . . . Enjoy the work. ~White Status: (Ongoing)
