Art is by on !!
The school seemed the same from the outside. Except Playtime was sitting in front of the main doors on the floor, tattered jump rope in hand.
How long had she been there?...
"Playtime!" I yelled, pulling Baldi along with me. I ran towards her and called her name a few more times.
She looked up at me with a confused expression and only responded until I was right in front of her. "(Y/N)!" She called happily, jumping up and wrapping her tiny arms around me.
Baldi stood and watched, seeming a little annoyed.
I laughed and picked Playtime up, giving her a hug. "How long have you been sitting here?" I asked, turning to Baldi as he unlocked the doors.
"A long time..." she said, gripping onto me. "Why is he here?" She pointed at Baldi and sunk back a little in my arms.
"He's with me. He won't hurt you. We're here to check things out."
Baldi rolled his eyes in annoyance at her presence. "Put the kid down and let's go inside."
I shook my head and protectively held her against me as if she were my own daughter. "I'm not just leaving her here. She might know some stuff too."
He glared at the child, then looked at me, then at both of us collectively. He sighed and opened the doors. "Fine."
We walked in, and Playtime tugging at my hair playfully. "School was weird yesterday." She said quietly, breaking the silence. "Princie wasn't here and everyone just sat."
That was the most Playtime has ever said at once.
"So class didn't happen or anything?" I looked at the girl in my arms as Baldi led us to the security room, despite the information presented to us.
"No." The answer was simple.
A jolt of panic struck through my chest. I heard scuttling from behind me, and I turned around quickly. Baldi did too.
The door of the janitor's closet shook. "Baldi," I whispered, turning to him. Playtime didn't seem to understand what was happening.

Baldi rushes over in front of me and held his arm out. "Let me see. There's people in there, I hear them."
Playtime whines and clung to me. "What's happening?..." I nodded and stepped back, petting her hair to comfort her. "Shh, just wait."
Baldi reached in his pocket and grumbled in frustration. He entered the nearest classroom and plucked a ruler from off of the teacher's desk and came back out, gripping it tightly.
He seemed extremely mad for the short amount of time the situation existed.
He opened the door and held the ruler up in the air, ready to strike if he had to. "What the hell are you doing in here?" He growled.
I heard several screams from inside the closet.
"Please don't!" A familiar voice screamed.
"We're not going to do anything, we swear!" Another voice added.
I ran over to them, Playtime still in my arms. I glanced in the closet from behind him and saw Reese, Kira, Alice, Nick, and Luke huddled up.
"What are you guys doing?!" I yelled, covering Playtime's ear. "Don't hit them, I'll talk to them. Go check out the footage." I put a hand on Baldi's arm and he looked at me, his anger seeming to melt. He still held the ruler. He wordlessly left and headed down the hall. But I heard his voice in my head.
"If they hurt you, I'll kill all of them. E̵̤͗v̴͖͎̊̕e̵̟̒r̸͕͂̊ý̴̳͔ ̸͍̃ͅs̶̹͑̃i̵͍͒͒n̴̩͂g̷͍͔̈ľ̵̘̚ȅ̸̡͙ ̸͉̉o̷̱͑n̴͋͜e̷̡͍̍̂ ̷̰͍̇͆o̶͉͉͐͛f̵̝̉ ̷̢͈̆t̵̫̠͌h̶̙̦̉̕e̵̺͉̓m̶̖͈̆.̵̬̜͐"
I shook my head and grunted, staring down at them. "Get out of there."
Reese clambered out and tried to run, but I stopped her with my foot.
"You're not going anywhere until you answer a few of my questions."
"You sound just like him," she spat. The rest crawled out, standing up. "You're with him, aren't you? You've been sneaking to see him this whole time." She snarled at me. "And you have the stupid jump rope kid with you too."
Playtime turned her head and looked at Reese with saddened eyes. She turned back to me and whimpered, digging her face into my neck.

"Alright, you look me straight in the eyes." I growled, stepping towards Reese, causing the rest of them to huddle backwards. "You need to learn when to keep your mouth shut. And talk when you're told."
I was filled with a sudden rage that I didn't understand. I was mad, sure, but not like this. This was Reese, the first friend I ever made here. But I heard his voice in my head again.
"Angels shouldn't fight. Tell her that if she keeps it up that I'll be coming."
I nodded at nothing, and Reese stared at me in confusion. I didn't know how he could talk to me either, but it clearly was only to me. Like some sort of connection that we made.
"If you keep it up, he'll come." I said, a smile on my face. "And since you love to run your mouth, I'll ask you all of the questions." I felt so sick that I was enjoying yelling at her. This whole situation was moving so fast. I just had pancakes and was laughing a few minutes ago.
Reese glanced down at my smile and then gave a hurried nod. "Fine. Fine, I'll tell you anything. You just better not-"
"I do what I want to. I'm the birthday girl." I gave a sadistic smile and set Playtime down, letting her wrap her arms around my leg. "First off, you owe someone an apology."
Playtime turned to her, her eyes completely black with oily tears streaming down her face.
"I'm sorry," Reese yelled, stepping back. "I'm so sorry."
Playtime grunted and stepped behind me, clearly not accepting of the apology.
"Good enough," I breathed, reaching down to pat Playtime on the head gently. "So, it's time for a questionnaire!" An overwhelming sense of pride and power loomed over me.
"What happened yesterday?" I stood there, staring at her expectantly. I felt a wave of something strange slowly fill me. Like insanity.
Reese saw me descending.
"You're insane. You're absolutely insane." She wailed, clenching her fists.
I laughed and facepalmed. "Don't be stupid, Reese. That's not what happened yesterday."
"I'm not telling you shit!" She screamed, causing Playtime to twitch in fear.
The anger set in more. I heard the slap of a ruler behind me and turned around, giving him a smile. "Don't worry Playtime, he's not going to hit you. He's going to hit the mean girl." Playtime looked up at me and simply nodded.
"That's it, guys, come on!" Reese belted, darting for the door down the hallway. She almost reached it, until the doors disappeared.
Instead of an exit, there were tons of small boxes and glitched-looking exit signs scattered across the wall.
The others ran, but stopped once they saw what happened.
"No way," Luke whispered. "We're dead."
Baldi stood next to me and looked down at me. "Are you okay?" He looked down at Playtime and loosened the grip on his ruler. "Is Playtime okay?"
"We're both fine, why do you care about her all the sudden?" I asked, glancing over at the group of my friends. They all stood and stared.
"If she matters to you, she matters to me."
She smiled at Baldi and he tried to smile back, but it seemed like something was holding him back.
"They still didn't answer me." I turned and glared at Reese.
Baldi slapped the ruler against his hand and all of the kids snapped to look at him.
"A̵̭̩̣͂͛̾͒n̴̥̼̝̅̉̇̃ͅs̸̟̱͈̻͐̀w̷͙̐̓͛̀ȩ̶͚̼͔́̚ř̵͙̺̆̄̚ ̷͖͓̾͂̈́̈́h̴̢̩̰̓e̷̥̘͂̽͘r̶̡͍͍͗̊͝͝.̷̤̘̳͔̀͌͠"
"You," I pointed at Reese. "He's talking to you."
Reese looked at her group and she just stared back in silence. She reluctantly peeled herself from her friends and stared at me.
"Alright, so tell me what happened yesterday." I gave her a sadistic grin and tilted my head at her.
Is any of this even real?
