《Unexpected | Baldi x Reader (Fluff/Lemon)》Chapter 8: Little Visit

Art is by on !!

We had other classes after that, and then lunch. I had a stupid smile plastered on my face the entire time and everyone was wary about it.

They probably thought I was smiling about the Bully's punishment or something. But I wasn't. I was smiling about the tiny kiss I gave to Baldi. I ran the event through my head multiple times and each time my heart jumped a little more.

It was odd, but I sincerely thought I was falling in love with the guy. Our relationship is like a roller coaster; teacher and student but also something... more.

I got my food and returned to the table with all of my new-found friends, my smile still shining. Whispers about me, Baldi, the Bully and other drama resonated through the lunch room.

The little whispers poked at my ears but I blocked them out with joy.

Sitting down, I gave Reese a hug and sighed. Everyone was understandably surprised at my ease of manner, so they wasted no time asking me about it.

"Woah, what's with you? You're acting like you're on a cloud," Reese laughed, returning the hug.

My cheeks flushed again as I giggled. "It's kind of personal," I said quietly. "But long story short, I did something and I'm happy I did."

"Oh come on, what'd you do? Spill the beans. Remember, there's no secrets in this school," Luke teased, leaning in in curiosity.

My eyes darted across the room and they landed on Baldi, casually sipping a mug of coffee on his lunch break.

I rolled my eyes and returned my attention to my friends. "Fine, but if any of you peep about it, I'll have Baldi whack you too."

They all instinctively flinched, but then realised I was exaggerating and eased back again.

"I know this might sound really weird," I hesitated and brushed my hair out of my face, glancing over at Baldi across the room again. "But I-"

They all raised their eyebrows and tapped their fingers, encouraging me to spit it out.

My voice lowered so low that I, myself, could barely hear it. "I may or may not have an itty-bitty crush on Baldi."

I made it sound a lot less important than it was for many reasons.

Luke slapped his hand over his mouth, Reese gasped, Alice and Kira looked at each other and Nick shook his head in disbelief.

"No damn way," Nick spat, looking at me in disgust. "You have an abuse fetish or some sick shit?"

"No, I told you that it's not who he is. He's being forced to do all of that. He's actually a really, really, really nice guy," my mind trailed off as I spoke. "I wish you all could see yourselves."

Reese folded her hands and looked at Baldi then back at all of us. "I mean, we have no proof that what you're saying is legit. But we all know something is up between you and Baldi. Sneaking after school to see him, another prize after class," she continued before being cut off.

"Hey, what was your prize anyway?" Nick yelled over her with a smile on his face.

I covered my mouth and giggled again. "Something special."

It was after school again and I decided not to go home again. I felt like I was being pulled towards him by some sort of magnet.

Eventually, I found my way to his office and I opened the door without knocking.

He looked completely unbothered, no Principal on his heel or closing up the school. The Principal must've let him off the hook for his shtick this morning.

"(Y/N)!," Baldi said happily, looking up at me from his desk. "What are you doing here?"

It was an empty question, I could tell he knew why I was there.

"I don't know, I don't feel like going home again tonight," I said honestly, stepping up to his desk and bending over, resting my elbows. "So I came to visit you."

((Warning, there's some, *cough* suggestive *cough* stuff here so uhh yeah))

Baldi laughed and smiled, reaching up to tuck a stray piece of hair behind my ear. "Well I'm happy you're here."

Smiling, I just looked at him for a moment, not knowing what to say. The silence made his cheeks flush with an awkward attempt to break the silence. "Well, do you want to sit down?"

"Yeah," I nodded and pulled my arms from his desk, looking around. There were two small chairs in front of his desk I hadn't seen before and nothing else. I looked back at him and then a mischievous idea popped into my head.

I rounded the desk and stood in front of him, looking down with a fakely innocent smile. He looked back and raised an eyebrow, confused for a second and then he realised what I was trying to do.

He spun the chair to face me and laughed, opening his arms. "Why not," he said quietly, in a tone of defeat and slight surprise.

I crawled on top of his lap and curled up, snuggling against him in a little ball. I could surprisingly fit on the chair in that stance, even though it was a tad uncomfortable.

"You're comfy," I said plainly, closing my eyes. His arms wrapped around me and it just made the little embrace warmer. It was so comfortable and I felt so happy, but part of me was telling me it just wasn't enough. I wanted more. Of this, of him.

"Heh, well that's good I guess," he laughed, sounding kind of nervous, like he wasn't sure what to do.

I reached up and wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled his head down closer to mine, touching my nose to his with a small giggle, causing him to smile.

"What even is... this?" He asked, holding me even closer.

I shrugged and pushed my forehead against his. "I don't know."

"Whatever it is," his voice lowered. "I don't want it to stop."

I couldn't bear waiting any longer. I tilted my chin up and kissed him, much deeper this time. He returned it, but gently.

My whole body was on fire. I couldn't believe that this was happening, but I was so happy it was. I just melted into it. He was like a beacon of light in this world of darkness. Even though he was odd, even just being near him made my heart leap. The whole situation was so weird, but it was amazing.

He seemed to be the only person who really loved me.

I pulled back for air and let out a tiny gasp, getting my breath back.

Baldi supported me with one arm and cupped my face with his free hand, smiling brightly at me.

"What are you staring at me for?" I laughed, kissing his cheek.

"It's just hard not to," he looked away and then back at me. "You're beautiful."
