I turned around and was face to face with dark shadow eyes and a porcelain face painted to be a type of clown. What received my attention was the jaw, the chin was split into two parts revealing a mouthful of countless sharp teeth. He grinned at me as if he were a little child seeing a best friend. From the corner of my eye, I saw the snake-like, pink polka dot lower half of his body with a small box at the end with a little crank on the side. Without hesitation, he yanked me away from my mother, causing me to lose my grip on the assassin doll, and slithered backward away from the two.

I cried out for help, but the jester's friends were keeping my parents and Aunt busy. The creature turned itself around and headed to a vent, I scrambled my legs around, kicking anything to try to slow down my captor. Either I kicked a bowling ball or a soccer ball, causing the sound. Both the clown and I looked at our right side, seeing a stack of boxes slowly tumbling towards us. I elbowed the clown at the flank then barrel-rolled as soon he let go.

I lost balance when I was far enough away, landed face first with a thud, I groaned as I lifted myself. I checked behind, seeing the jester must have escaped from the tumbling mountain of boxes. Where did he go? I turned in front to make a run for it, but something caught my eye. Something that made me sparkle like a little anime girl.

Did I mention that Ricky used to be a baseball player, team captain even? He taught me how to make a proper swing, when to hit, and all of the basics of baseball. I got up to my feet and trotted to the hidden weapon, which was halfway from my current position. Then suddenly a red ribbon wrapped around both of my ankles, causing me to fall into the boxes where the bat lived. I turned my head, with wide eyes watched as a 7-inch toy soldier with eyes black as coal and needle-like fangs that tear someone's face-off, clutching a ribbon wand where the ribbon that kept me in tight bondage.

He started yanking the ribbon dragging me towards him, fearing the outcome I tried clawing my way to the bat. No matter how hard I struggled against him, the toy soldier would tug harder and faster as if his life depended on it. My eyes were shut and my hands extended to the bat. The only thing in my mind was for the bat to come to me. Within seconds a somewhat rough feeling of a grip touched my palms, I opened my eyes seeing the bat was in my grasp. I turned to a starstruck toy and swung the bat. His metal body collided with the barrel sending him to a wooden beam.

I managed to kick off the ribbon and stand up. I gazed upon the bat in fascination scanning every inch. Did I do that? I lifted my head where Aunt Linda screamed at the savage bear with rage. I held out a hand, focusing on a weapon for Aunt Linda testing out my theory. Without a second to spare an ax flew to my hand like magic. I twirled the bat in hand, before charging to my Aunt.

She tossed the bear, who desperately clawed the icicle in his eye socket to come out, into a dark space of the wall. She growled, tearing off her yarn headbands as I handed the ax to her. She swung it at the string of Christmas light that the angel wrapped around my mother's neck to choke her. Freeing Mom while I swung my bat causing the angel to fly into junk somewhere. I went over to Dad where the tin robot stood on his back. The thunderstruck robot did nothing as I whacked it away from my father.

My mother went on her knees helping me pull out the scissors off his back. We sighed in relief as we managed to pull it out. "Thanks, honey." Dad praised Mom. "You okay?" "Yeah, you and-" "" I shrieked when the robot rose from the fallen boxes. Before I could take a swing, Mom took the pistol shooting the miserable creature three times.

She flung the gun away breathing in and out to relieve herself, Dad stared at her with awe while I smirked. It took a minute for her to notice us staring. "What?" We shrugged at her. "" "Max."

Linda held close to Stevie for dear life following Tom, Sarah, and their daughter downstairs to gather in the living room with the other family members. Max helped his uncle to the living room, once he knew his uncle wouldn't fall he rushed to his sister hugging her for long as he could. "What happened up there?" Dorothy asked, holding the infant in her arms. "They got Jordan," Tom announced, checking the fire. "Who?" Before anything was said a thud and a loud muffled roar was heard from the air ducts above them.

They overheard the beast growl and shift through the vents scaring the living death out of the Engel family, all except the girl who was listening to every curse he said mentally. "I think it's panicking, trying to get outside." Sarah stated. "Well, we've boarded everything up." Tom acknowledged. Again Der Klown screeched feeling Jordan kicking in his gut and making muffled screams for help.

"She's alive," Everyone glanced at Eira as stares at the ceiling. "She's still moving in his stomach, " "Linda, what are we dealing with? What did you see up there?" Howard asked his wife as he placed the bullets into his shotgun. Linda made slow movements towards her sister. "You don't wanna know, sweetheart." "Honey, I just got my ass kicked by a bunch of Christmas cookies, so trust me when I say I can take it!" Howard quipped as he cocked his gun. "Shh." Sarah whispered to the other as the creature was coming closer.

Rosie trotted to the vent scratching at the screen and barking at the creature inside, both of the Engel siblings noticing this and taking immediate action. "No, no, no. Max, Eira, what are you doing?" Tom and the others watched as the metal screen was pried off by itself with the help of Eira's newly found abilities allowing Rosie to enter. "Go get 'em, girl." Max urged.

What they witnessed passed through as Der Klown shrieked as Rosie bit into the monster. "Get 'em, Rosie." Howard smirked. As the beast and Rosie fought, the metal inside the walls dented causing the ceiling to crack against the added weight. Their hearts weighed down when the sound of a slimy tongue wrapping around an object and the whimpers from Rosie continued for minutes until there was a dead silence. "Rosie?" Linda whispered, Eira breathed shakily then her eyes widened when a small creak came to her ear. "" She shouted before Klown came crashing down to the living room floor, landed face first, and his body felt like Jello as it impacted the floor.

He groaned as he hoisted himself, once he settled he shifted to his left seeing Howard and a few others glowered in nausea. He screeched at the sight of the shotgun in Howard's hand. "" Linda exclaimed. Howard aimed and called out a battle cry for the vengeance of his children and niece but Cherub flew from the hole in the ceiling tackling the man with her screeching of a battle cry.

Omi held Stevie to her as the girl tried making her way to her dad, and Tom took the angel's wings and pulled. "" Sarah shouted at the angel as she and her sister snatched the toy's arms to prevent any more damages. Eira pulled Max away from the commotion watching them in horror. The girl looked down at her glowing necklace, then to the worm-like beast who just sat there as if he was waiting for something. 'Why isn't he attacking?' She couldn't put it to thought when she noticed the demonic teddy bear crawling up toward her grandmother and cousin. "" Max warned both her and Stevie to move away from the couch before Klaue could pounce.

Before Eira could whack the bear, The stuffed bear went flying to the wall behind him with a bullet in his brain. Eira turned to see Dorothy holding Howard's shotgun, she placed her gaze on the struggling group. "" She commanded, her parents and Linda looked at the girl as she pointed two fingers at the doll.

Cherub felt some force stopping every limb of her body, she felt the aura that was holding her was just as powerful as her master but it had more gentleness. She was flung off of Howard to only be shot in the heart she groaned as she plunged to the floor and passed out.

Der Klown wailed when he saw his sister laid lifeless on the floor. The wrath flowed throughout his body like wildfire. He overheard the father get Dorothy permission to kill, which she took gladly cocking the shot in place. Klown snarled at the woman he was ready to strike and devour her head for vengeance upon his sister.

"Wait!" A voice sounded in the room, stopping both toy and armed woman from attacking each other. Der Klown faced with an end cap of a metal bat and its holder glanced at him with her best poker face that she could. He could feel his porcelain cheeks glow with warmth as Eira pointed her bat at him like a sword. "Any last words?" The latter spoke firmly, sending shivers down the jester's spine. He could sense potential in her, it would be a matter of time she'll be ruling alongside his master. Becoming the most powerful queen of the Yuletide season. He smirked at his future queen with a playful mood and spoke mentally to her.

'Of course, your majesty.' With that, a roar of thunder and the sound of a tribal horn was blown causing the family to face the boarded window. Klown clapped cheerfully and said repeatedly that made Eira's blood run cold. 'CALVARY IS HERE! CALVARY IS HERE!'

"Elfen. (Elves.)" Omi muttered as her gaze fastened to the sealed window. "Aw sh-" "" Eira tried to pull Dorothy away from the window, however was pulled down to the floor when Trommel jumped out of the hole in the ceiling, yanking on the strands of her golden hair to remove her from Dorothy's fate.

The wooden planks and shards of glass came at Dorothy plowed her to the ground as the elves stampeded and the frigid wind blew into the living room. Klown clapped and giggled excitedly as his elven friends made haste herding the rest of the family and keeping them away from Eira. Ketkrókur threw a personally made ball of baking soda to put out the fire while one of his teammates managed to give a hug to Der Klown. Eira tried to pull off the toy, but he moved away from her hands and still had hold of her hair. Had enough of the torment, she sat up and flipped her hair forward causing Trommel to be slingshotted to the open window.

Fortunately, the last of the elves snatched him before he could impact the frigid outside, pulling out the iron chains that lead to the sleigh that awaits the victims and their master's bride. Three elves headed to Eira, who tried to scramble away. Ruprecht, Bjúgnakrækir, & Kertasníkir were instructed by Krampus himself to locate and safely retrieve Eira Engel and place her on the sleigh and keep her warm and safe until he arrives. Ruprecht and Kertasníkir took Eira's wrists so she wouldn't escape, while Bjúgnakrækir pulled out a white fur coat to replace the torn sweater she wore.

He slipped the coat on her shoulders, slipping her arms in the sleeves, finally made the last check that it was completely on before grabbing her legs. Eira struggled to wiggle out of her captors' grasp on her legs and wrists as they started to move her. From the corner of her eye, she saw an elf (Ketkrókur) had a hold of Max's arm and cackling as he was tugging him away from the cornered group. With fury, she yanked one leg out and fiercely booted the elf at the back of the head which caused him to let go of Max and grasped his head in discomfort.

Stekkjarstaur rolled his eyes as Bjúgnakrækir struggled to grab his lady's free leg that kept shaking off of his weak grip. Irritated by this, he pulled out a brown ribbon then went to the fighting two. Shoved off the elf then clenched the leg by the ankle before it could hit him, then wrapped the little ribbon around her ankles and tied it to a bow. He signaled the other two to place her in Der Klown's arm, which she didn't move an inch. The elves fastened the chains around Klown and Dorothy before securing it finally.

"Howard, where's Chrissy?" "" Linda and Eira listened as the infant cried due to the chaos in the room. However, to their misfortune, a specific elf frantically took the child in her arms and rushed to the open window. Gluggagægir glanced over to the family, staring at Linda's eyes. "" Linda reached out with tears pouring. Glug huffed at the woman and stepped off the platform and into the snow keeping the tiny child comfortable in her fur skin cloak.

"" Eira sobbed, which caused pain in Klown's heart. Along with another. "See you in hell!" Dorothy waved to her family the last time before flying out by the chain. "" The elves stood back as they did the final check on the chain's security. "No you don't you sick bastards!" Howard yelled and tackled Der Klown's tail, before the chain pulled them out of the room,
